"It's a very exclusive place -- high dollar. They want you to buy a condo for your family to live there plus you pay a monthly charge. They have a security guard when you go in the gate. It's very secure. They only let you in if you're visiting somebody or if you have permission to be there. It's like a country club -- more like a golf community. It's a senior living place, but they do have cottages, houses, and a rehab facility. It's beautiful, and the people rave about it. It's like a five-star facility. The seniors can feel secure there because no one's going to come in that place or drive into that place unless they're allowed. If you've got the money, Village on the Green is the place to go. "

"We got a discount at Lutheran Haven because my mother is a Lutheran. It’s only like a mile from me. Our visit was wonderful. My sister and I liked it. Their dining rooms are super nice. There are 6 people to a table, tables for 4, and tables for 2. There is also a long bar that really feels like you’re at a bar. There’s just no liquor. They do have wine, I think. My sister and I liked the food a lot. They had pork chops, scalloped potatoes, green beans almondine, a salad, biscuits, and corn bread. Her care is really good. My sister and I checked up on her. We even sent strangers there to check. It’s a Christian place. She doesn’t have to leave there to go to church. She goes to bingo. It’s perfect. "

"My mom and I are very happy with Regents Winter Park because it is a very beautiful place. And everyone starting from the receptionist Miss Cristal which is wonderful person and everyone in the place is fabulous and very caring and loving. Everything is always very clean and smell great. I am 100% satisfied with the place. I love to go there and see my mom, we both really enjoy it with all the fun we have there. Everyone is very professional and thank you so much for that."

"My mom is at Winter Park Care. We chose them because they were covered by her insurance and they had availability at that time. The rooms are adequate. However, they are a little small and they don't have a lot of room for company to sit in the room. They have activities there. They have all types of stuff that my mom is engaged in. My mom likes it very much. As a matter, she likes it much better than the other place she was in. "

"My Dad is a resident at Rehab of WP. I have visited many times and decided to make some comments. First comment is about Odella , i think she is a coordinator for activities. She is so kind and welcoming. Today i stopped by unexpected and she had come by to see if my Dad wanted to attend church there I was so happy to know that when we are not able to go there this place keeps the people active, and i would say most of the employees here truly care about the patients. The Therapist will take time to really talk to you. The nurses and CNA's as well , although busy just seem to be willing to answer questions and just in general have a caring attitude . My Dad was in another facility prior to this and was often upset and depressed . This Nursing home also has planned outings for the residents, they go to restaurants and other places. I wish my Dad could live at home but its nice to know when we are not there , there are good people there with him "

"Above average care. The nursing staff was so caring and attentive. The answered my call light every time. They asked me what MY goals were, and together we made a pain management plan, and scheduled my medicine before I asked! I would highly recommend to friends and family. "

"Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital provides a little garden area with real food planted there. They also have outdoor rehab work, and they give you all manner of rehab there. They start in the mornings. The people that work in the rehab area are so professional, and they make rehab fun. They make sure you do as well as you can. The food was really good. My room there was clean and nice, but it was not anything spectacular."

"My mom is at Healthcare & Rehab of Sanford. I would say that it's top tier. They take care of the residents. They spend time with them, they feed them, and they tend to them. They have a lot of good, strong workers there. The grounds and upkeep are okay. There's nothing extravagant, but it's decent. They keep it very clean. It's not a huge facility, but it is a nice size. Some of the activities they have are bingo, movies, and board games. They do a lot of things. The food is okay. A lot of people can't chew, so they have soft food they can eat. Like my mother, she is having dental problems, and they're very attentive to that. They have a dental hygienist come in, like every week or every two weeks, and check on the residents. My mother can't eat solid foods too well, and she has mouth pain. I just called them the other day, and they have somebody helping her out."

"Anyone who visits Winter Park Towers knows they are the best in central Florida. Spotless reputation, real caring for the residents and always had excellent programs. This facility harbors aging adults in various units with differing levels of care involvement by staff. Young volunteers often provide entertainment for the residents, especially those housed in the Amory Way Alzheimer's disease unit. Medical care is superb here, and the hospital has several doctors on staff that routinely see residents for any ailments or problems. The food is reasonable and certainly some of the best that I have had at a hospital/nursing home. The downside to the facility is the high price of admission, but given the lack of comparable programs in central Florida, there is really no alternative. "

"The whole therapy team was just awesome! I owed so much of my recovery to Heidi, Quincy, Andrea and others. They were my trainers, cheerleaders and friends. Connie and Daisy are the greatest CNA's. Their kind compassionate care makes the obstacles on has to overcome, that much easier. All the healthcare team become more than caregivers. They became friends! "

"The nurses and CNA' s did a great job. I have had my parents in this hospital three times. My concern each time is that the hospitalist Dr. assigned wanted to discharge my parents each time without the requested specialist seeing them or consulting with them.. I had to insist on it and the specialist each time said they needed treatment and did not discharge them. I'm not sure if I would use this hospital again because we haven't had a good hospitalist Dr. yet. The covering hospitalist Dr.on the weekend was rude and uncaring and said I was trying to keep my parent in the hospital and she wasn't going to get any better when I said the specialist had ordered tests and were monitoring her. The ER was good. "

"My sisters put my mom here at Florida Living Center. It is very nice and they are doing a good job. They are rated five stars so it is really good. But we still go back to her to make sure because her skin is very tender and we have to wash her. I go there to make sure she eats and sometimes I feed her myself. They have rooms and apartments in there as well. "

"Great changes at this facility. New Administrator is awesome and a gem. with great leadership. very caring and always available. There is a new tone at the facility. My mom is really enjoying the new atmosphere. I often see the administrator on the floor, interacting with the residents and staff. You can tell he is enjoying his job and really care, nice change. We are blessed to have Jeanmarc at Orlando. Staff is smiling more, great things are happening at Avante at Orlando!"
