Winter Garden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center

My mom is currently in Winter Garden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for rehab. It's very good. The staff is very friendly. I talked to the rehab people, they're all very nice there. I see the food they give to other people and it looks good, but my mom can only eat pureed food. The rehab facility is very clean and they have people there. I saw them sterilizing the place and all of that. They always notify you of what they're going to do or what they notice and things like that. I go there every day since my mother has been there. The doctor comes out there and talks to you. When I am off work, sometimes they call me to explain if they gave her a test and what they see as her improvement or what has not improved, so they keep you well informed.

Stay away poor Staffing CNA very uneducated in there jobs no common sense. The residence are at risk if left in there rooms. No one checks in on them careless of personal belongs. The only good thing about this place is the therapy unit. Food is cold and not health for the residences. The upper management is useless when approached they deny anything that is brought to there attention. They can't wait to tell you how long they have been there but, maybe that is the whole problem with this place. They feel they are above doing the right thing for the residences.

The director at Quality Health of Orange County is not professional and not nice. So I have decided not to go with that community and restart my search. My experience was very bad on that day. The admissions person I spoke to who was Angie, who was good, but the director is a total joke. I'm not happy with the experience I had when I went over there to talk to him. Even though on two separate occasions I talked to him on the phone and had a decent conversation, when I went over there to bring my dad, it was the total opposite. It's the most unprofessional discussion I've ever had with somebody in the medical field. I did a whole tour of the place. They have a rehab, an outside area, a small physical therapy section as well. I also saw the dining area. Our meeting was supposed to be over lunch, and none of that happened. I also saw a calendar of their activities. The building is a little older and dimly-lit but it was clean.

I was patient at this facility and i would love to let everyone know they were top notch i would rate them at a 10 out of 10, they provided great rehabilitation services, i loved the nursing staff and the meals were very good. Very flexible to accommodate me. I would recommend this facility to everyone. I even enjoyed the activities programs. If i were ever to be a permanent resident i am choosing them.

My father is getting physical therapy at Quality Health Care, but the rooms are too small. He liked the food when he first came but now he says it’s like they are repeating the same thing. He is not happy with it. They have a lot of things to do, like bingo. They are clean, and I haven’t seen anybody not being taken care of. So far I like what I am seeing.
