"We visited HarborChase of Dr. Phillips and toured for independent living. They had a beautiful dining room and lovely food. They're delicious. The staff members were very professional. The place is brand-new, so it's lovely. It's very clean, very neat, and has a very professional air to it."

"We toured Madison at Clermont. It was very good. The staff who assisted during the tour were wonderful. They showed me a room in assisted living, and one had a patio, which was pretty nice, and one didn't. They were okay. It was functioning. It was good."

"I toured Brookdale Wekiwa Springs. What I liked most was that the facility was clean. The one apartment they showed me would be perfect for a single person. Also, they had a calendar of activities and transportation to and from medical appointments. The staff seemed happy with their job. I was greeted by a receptionist, and she was very pleasant, was on time with the appointment, and was prepared. She had brochures, and she wasn't reading. She knew the content. She's a good listener. She paid attention to me, which I appreciated, and she responded professionally. They had an elevator, and it was clean. I saw people working and the nursing staff. However, the facility is older."

"We went to Ambiance of Maitland. It was very nice. The staff members were just very friendly and accommodating. They answered all my questions, so they were very nice. The rooms were very nice. They were recently updated, so everything was nice, clean, and very orderly."

"My husband moved into The Grove at Trelago. It's a beautiful place. The residents are well taken care of. They engage the residents. I don't worry about my husband wandering off anywhere because they're watched. The food is excellent. The care is excellent. I have absolutely nothing but praise for them. The staff members are very caring and good with the residents. They have gardens that they can walk through, but it's still confined. Outside their apartments, they have shadow boxes into which they can put memorabilia. It's very well done. The food is outstanding. They have pools, and it looks like a resort. They keep them busy with activities."

"My mother is at Providence and the experience has been nothing but positive. "I was very impressed with the Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs. I toured their assisted living, and it was very clean and well-kept. They also have everything very organized. The person who helped during the tour was very professional and nice. They asked me to sample their food, but I didn't have time. They did give me a box of cookies when I left. I saw some exercises that they were doing in a room. They had a pool, but I didn't see anybody in it because it was raining."

"My mom is a resident of Brookdale Lake Orienta. It's very nice. They keep it very nicely. They don't have so many grounds to walk. She can walk, but it's not so big, but very nice. The staff has been great. They have been very responsive to her. Twice a week they have activities outside the facility where they can go and go to the mall or they go to a play. They do different things. They've got activities on site. They've got a gaming room. They have a beauty salon. They've got an exercise room. She's not in love with the food. She was very picky, so I'm sure the food was fine. I think she doesn't love it."

"Windsor at Celebration is very expensive, and the staff told me that it's going to raise the cost every year. But the appearance is very good. It's very nice, it's beautiful, and it's clean. They're friendly. We had lunch, and it was nice. The meal experience was very good. I'm pleased with everything, but it's too much money. If it was much cheaper, I would have taken it. The staff who gave the tour was very nice. With all the workers there, you wouldn't imagine that you're in a senior living, and you would feel like you're in a plush hotel. I really like it. The rooms were sparkling clean. It smelled nice and it looked nice. The workers were very nice, and they had a lot of workers there. There's a long table in the dining room. You can take whatever you want. They give you ice cream, and they give you coffee. They give you what you like. The staff said it is left up to me to clean my room or do anything for myself, but every Friday, she told me that the worker would come and clean the apartment, which is very good. If they don't see you at breakfast time or hear anything, they come to look for you and see if you are all right. They bring the meals if you want. They check on you every minute. There's a big swimming pool, hot and cold. It's nice."

"My sister will be moving into Spring Hills Hunters Creek. We chose it because she needs memory care. Theirs was large, open, and airy, and they had a lot of staff and my sister is still pretty lively physically. It's just her mind is the problem. The room was very nice, very sunny, and bright. It is month to month, so if we don't like it in six months, it's not a problem. It's a little pricy like they all are, but the presentation was good and a lot of staff seems to be around. They have meals and they have a good active monthly calendar. They have musicians that come in and singers, and they have art on the walls that is interactive, so the residents can draw on this art. They do some outings on occasion, and they have an exercise class, which I liked. They take care of everything. They do laundry, they have doctors that come in, and physical therapists that come in. Everything is kind of one-stop shopping. The staff during the visit seems to be very caring. She went to my sister's house (who was my other sister's caregiver) and helped her fill out the paperwork and everything like that on a computer. They just seemed to be very involved and caring. I can revisit it once my sister is actually in there and see how the care goes."

"My cousin moved into Brookdale Conway. The facility is clean. The food is good. My cousin has already met people that she socializes with. They have lots of activities. My cousin's room is fairly large. It fits her bed, a chair, and a side table. It has a TV. It's nice and clean. They have arts and crafts, happy hours, and social gatherings. They have a big courtyard. They have a beautician that comes in once a week. They have a nurse on site. My cousin is very happy there. We're very satisfied. The staff members are nice and helpful. I think the food is very good."
