"My mother was there both for rehab and for long term care. This place is a place of love and caring. My mother eventually passed away. The care given both during her living there and during her death process was a blessing from God. I was there throughout the nights and watched the care and attention to the residents. It was terrific. The residents are constantly changed. Bedding is constantly renewed. The infirm are constantly moved and watched over . Many of the CNA's and Nurses love God and serve Him there. My wife and I now go and visit folks weekly and everyone is friendly and kind. There is no better place for a parent or loved one. We personally know the staff there and they truly care!"

"I think Lake County Adult Day Care (Lake County Adult Activity Center) is a great place. I called them, I went there, investigated, and looked at it. I am pleased with it, and my husband seems to enjoy it. It is a way to socialize, and he is also learning some things. They are playing games and doing different things that he needs. I think the people working there are very helpful. They are very nice and seem to take good care of the people. My husband does not need any assistance to use the bathroom or anything like that, but I see them taking other people that do need it. They go with them and help them, and they seem to do a very good job. They do very good about providing snacks and things for them to eat. I am just very pleased with everything I see them do. The meal is included in the price you pay to go there, but there is no extra fee for that. They do exercises, listen to music, watch films on TV, and do a lot of little art projects. I definitely will recommend them. I like the whole atmosphere there. I like the fact that the people are so nice, and I am just very satisfied and pleased with it. My husband seems to like it, and that's important for me because it gives me a break to be able to leave him there for 4-5 hours and still have things done on my own -- for myself and for the house and everything. "

"My mom and I liked Share the Care, Inc. They had a section inside to play games and an outside where they can walk around or sit down and enjoy the sunlight. It was nice and clean. The staff was great, very nice, and very informative. The residents were active, talking, and enjoying their day."

"My Mom has Alzheimer - and she does not use pampers yet. This is my 1st step in finding care for her. The place is absolutely clean, the staff is very friendly and their is a nurse on duty. The State pays part of it (go to Dept of Elder Care for help) and I pay the rest. Its reasonable compare to the cost of being home. I can drop her off before I go to work at 8:00 (open at 7am) and my daughter picks her grandma at 5:00 (closes at 5:30pm.). I highly recommend it, to anyway looking for a place that is clean/friendly/secured. Security is a must and the alarm goes off if anyone tries to sneak off. My Mom is one of those wanderers who try to get out for a walk. There is a area with a gazebo, golf put, butterfly garden for them to walk around that closed in. "

"My mom is there 5 days a week and loves it, she has early stage dementia and she feels very comfortable there. The staff cares a lot about the seniors there. The place is very clean and cozy. They have lots of activities that have the seniors entertain. If you are looking for a great place for your senior this is the one."

"When my wife's mother suffered her second stroke and had to be confined to a wheelchair, it became something of a problem to coordinate care and services for her as everybody in the family had their own jobs to attend to. A friend recommended that we contact the Osceola County Council on Aging to see what type of services they could offer. We were quite pleasantly surprised to find the number and quality of programs that they could provide to my mother in law. They were able to send out a home worker twice a week, who assisted with meal preparation, laundry and cleaning, as well as providing companionship during the day while we all worked. They also had an adult day care center program, where they would pick her up and take her to the center center where she could interact with other clients. The people at this agency were very friendly and professional and my mother in law thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the adult day care and made several new friends there. When her condition worsened in later years, the agency worked with us in finding nursing home and hospice placement for her. "
