"My mother was at The Club Health and Rehabilitation Center at The Villages. There was absolutely nothing I liked about it. They neglected my mother. They did not answer the call lights. The food was not great. The staff was rude and ignorant. And there is not one good thing I could say about that facility. I would not put my enemy in that facility at all. The place was rusty, dusty, dirty, and ratty tatty. They need to improve the care of their nurses and they need to renovate. The front lobby looked spectacular. But then when you go in the back and you go into the rooms, the rooms had chipped wood, chipped paint, and dirty floors. They needed to have supplies. They didn't even have bedpans. They ran out of bedpans and my father had to go buy one at a store. The staff needed more training. I probably went 3 or 4 times to the administrator to try to resolve things. They need a whole new makeover and they need a whole new staff training for that place to be anywhere close to where my mom is at right now."

"My sister-in-law moved into Chatham Glen Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. The room is beautiful. Everything is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is very clean and nice. She's very happy with the food, and we're even allowed to eat there if we want. So, everything is great, and it's close to where we are."

"This place was extremely clean. I transferred my husband from a horrible senior living. Cypress Care was a breath of fresh air. The staff was wonderful and very pleasant and helpful. They kept him very clean not like the last place. The office staff was amazing. The nurses and CNA's were wonderful. I can't say enough good things about Cypress Care. My husband was very sick but at least the last weeks he was alive were peaceful for him and me. God bless them all."

"This is an excellent facility. Yes, it is in the old Leesburg Hospital, so the rooms are old hospital rooms and it's not all glitzy and shiny new, but the care there is exceptional. My husband was in a brand new facility in the Villages and they almost killed him there, was sent by ambulance to Leesburg hospital with blood clots in his legs and lungs from just letting him sit in a wheel chair all day. Beautiful but deadly. This facility is nothing to look at, but the nurses there are attentive and check at least once every 3-4 hours, the cna's also caring and good and best of all you see a doctor every day. Care is amazing. My husband has been in 3 other facilities and this is by far the best and their physical therapy at 3 hours a day gets fast results so the stay there is shorter. Wonderful caring physical therapists. If I myself had to go into a rehab/nursing center, it would be this one hands down. You are there for the care, not the décor. "

"This facility has all new management, and they are excellent! The Executive Director Rachelle is amazing with a heart of gold and her love for her residents’ shines! The Director of Nursing has great communication and is very compassionate! She took the time to speak to me several times with updates on my loved one! The therapy Director Jordan is very knowledgeable and gave me updates when I asked. When visiting everyone was very nice and full of smiles from the front desk to the CNA's working the floor. Everyone also seemed to know the names of all the patients! Very impressed and nothing bad to say! Also, the Dietary manager is new with obvious experience, my loved one had no complaints about the food!"

"My mother-in-law has moved into South Campus Care Center. It's very clean, and the people are very nice and very attentive to her. She's getting good care. The staff were very knowledgeable. I have not tried the food, but my mother-in-law loves it. I am not thrilled with the layout of the building, but the cleanliness is wonderful. When she was in there, she went from laying in bed and hardly speaking to anybody, to being up and singing with others in the activity room; that was a huge improvement for her. They have a screened-in courtyard."

"My mother is doing rehab in Lake Harris Health Center Skilled Nursing. The first week she was fighting them and not doing the therapy, but now she's calmed down and is doing the therapies. She liked the nurses and aides, so it's all going well now. The staff is friendly and helpful, she likes them all. There's only one she doesn't like saying she's mean to her, this staff probably makes her get up and do things that's why. I can't get in to see the room but my wife says it's a very nice room they put her in. Earlier she was in isolation but now her room is like a home setting. I was able to visit before they shut it down. They bring her on a screen-enclosed porch and I sit outside the porch and we talk from like 8 feet away. She says the food is pretty good. There are a couple of meals she doesn't like, but for the most part she says it's good. They seem to be very good. Now that they're moving along with her therapy, they call me once a week, and we have like a conference call where they have the therapist, nurse, and case worker come into the conference room. They've done that for several weeks. That's very helpful in getting information and knowing what she's doing and not doing. They also seem to be cooperative, they're nice, and easy to deal with, so I think it's great. The place looks very nice, everything looks clean and elderly, and they just repainted the drive."

"My mother was here. It's a skilled nursing and rehab, and that's what the doctor suggested that my mother go to. It's a fabulous place. I cannot say enough good things about it. It was fantastic in every way. The ladies working in admissions were professional, helpful, caring, and just delightful. The nursing staff was very attentive and very empathetic toward my mother. The facility is beautiful and clean. If I had to say anything at all in a critical way, the food is not great. We brought her snacks and things, but I would give it a very high rating. The staff were professional, very helpful, caring and knowledgeable. They were gentle with my mother (who had suffered from a head injury), and she was in a very delicate condition. There were plenty of staff members, so everything was really terrific. The facility is very clean and modern. It's new. It's just two years old, but it is open, airy, and very pleasant with soothing color tones and artwork. There were activities going on all the time in the facility. My mother elected not to participate; she did not want to be there. She was ill and just did not want to be anywhere but home. They would bring her a newsletter and a calendar. There was a full activities calendar. At one point, I asked for some soft music to be played in her room. They immediately brought me a CD player with some nice music selections, so they were very responsive."

"My mother is a long term resident of this facility. I visit her regularly at various times of the day. The nursing and medical staff are excellent and the CNAs are very compassionate and caring. I have recommended the center to several friends. All have been happy with the care their loved ones received. The housekeeping staff also does a great job keeping the facility clean. I will continue to recommend Lake Eustis Health and Rehab to others. "

"Bayview Center was fine. They had a floor for dementia and Alzheimer's care and another floor for patients who weren't so acute. They remodeled the place to be very colorful, very clean, open, and friendly. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the dining area was pleasant and airy."

"My longtime boyfriend's grandpa is in this facility. We have had a generally positive experiences here. At first glance the place is fairly clean. The waiting room is decent and the patient rooms are a little drab, but clean nonetheless. The staff is usually very helpful and they seem happy to be doing there job, which is nice for a change. Grandpa seemed to go a little downhill within the first few months he was there and we found out it was due to the amount of anti-anxiety medicine they were giving him. But once we voiced our concern they promptly lowered the amount. One of the things we like best about the place is that they are always welcoming to take questions. You don't feel like you are bothering them, or that it is a "dumb" question. They are also fairly decent on visiting hours. A lot of places make you slot an appointment or have very specific and limited visiting hours, but I seem to be able to go when it is convenient for me, within reason. Overall, we are pleased with Ruleme Center and would recommend it to others looking to place a loved one in a nursing home. "

"Great therapy team and the best place to go for 7 day a week therapy! Don't be hesitant that facility is a little dated on the outside as they are currently renovating but you have to get IN the door to meet the staff and therapists. They offer more aggressive therapy than the other places!"
