"I visited Highpoint at Stonecrest. They have a swimming pool, and it's beautiful and new. I liked everything that I saw. The whole facility is a five plus. The staff was wonderful, very friendly, and very informative. Everything about it was professional. I did see the dining room. It's like a restaurant. The cleanliness was superior. We went in the lobby, which was very well organized, clean, and well maintained. There's plenty of seating. They had a snack bar in there. It's like a hotel lobby. To me it was superior. The only drawback I saw was that the cost to stay there was too expensive from what I can afford."

"It is a very attractive facility. The staff said it was like four years old, it had very nice accommodations, waiting rooms, and common areas, and the dining room was very nice. It's very attractive-looking when you go in, but it doesn't give you the feeling of assisted living. The dining room was very clean. We got to see one room, the 1-bedroom was small when you're comparing it to coming from a whole house. But it's sufficient for the basics you need. They had a beauty shop, an onsite rehab center, a game room, and a movie room. They had pretty much the same amenities as all the assisted living that I've visited. The person who gave me the tour was very good, she explained everything and answered all the questions."

"I toured the Village Veranda at Lady Lake. They have all kinds of activities: arts and crafts, a gym, and a walking club. They also have transportation to a pool next door. The staff is excellent. There was no one eating in the dining area, since it was after lunch was over."

"We moved our mother from Brookdale Chambrel Pinecastle because the price was so high. They will say $7,000 the first year then $12,000 the second year. It's a fine community, but an expensive community. The people were nice there and mom had some good friends there. The fact that they had to administer her medication, they had her in assisted living, and it costs several hundred dollars just for that, which to me is a little ridiculous. They bring meals to her. The staff members are nice people, but it's like any place else. The surroundings seem to be fine to me. Every year the cost goes up and it goes up a couple hundred bucks sometimes. The facility seemed nice enough."

"It is a small facility. I have a friend that lives there and he is very comfortable. The staff is very pleasant and there are always tons of people. The rooms are small, but very nice. They have a new van that takes people everywhere which is great. "

"I've looked at some places before deciding on Grand Court Tavares for my mom; it's a good facility. She has her good days and bad days, but I think it has something to do with her current mental situation and her age. It's strictly assisted living, but they do have 24-hour nursing care and minor rehab. She has a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette. I'm satisfied with where my mom is at right now. "

"I toured Regency Park Assisted Living & Memory Care, and I thought it was very good. It was light and bright. The patients, a lot of them were up in the community room. They were having karaoke, playing music, and participating. There were other residents that were in various places around. The rooms were nice. They're I guess adequate, they're not really large. You think of a hotel room, and that's about the size that they are, not a suite but a single hotel room. They also have double occupancy or single rooms, which are priced differently. I have a cat, so they do not take pets. They might make an exception if I took a single room and paid an extra $50 a month for the pet. It gets kind of pricey once you get a single room, and on top of that, you have your pet fee. The woman who gave me the tour was very friendly and outgoing, and I was just very impressed by her. The rooms are small, and if there are two people in the room, it's gonna be a little cramped. It wasn't a very nice place to walk around the facility. It's an undeveloped area and there are no houses around but there are offices, doctor's offices, business offices, and Massey, lawn care. Right now, I'm used to walking. I like to get outside. I like to walk or work outside and there's nothing like that. The facility is nice but the amenities like the outside were not that good. I think it's a converted hotel or motel. They don't have any screened-in porches or patios or anything like that. The rooms have been well taken care of and they're fixing and painting some additional rooms."

"Brookdale Tavares was very nice. The people were very accommodating. They answered questions thoroughly. It was a very nice visit. The common spaces were very nice. The bedrooms were decorated very quaintly. It's in a nice location."

"This facility has everything a resident could want and the staff is excellent. The Executive Director, Wendy and the Director of Wellness are wonderful!"

"We moved in. It seems they are attentive, friendly, and efficient, as far as the care of the patients are concerned. In fact, I might say they're a little annoying because there's people constantly coming in and checking on me. I'm not the one who needs the care, it's my wife, but they do that for my wife, and it's perfectly fine for me. They have a requirement because of Covid-19; once I'm in, I couldn't associate with anybody else, I'm quarantined for about four to five days to make sure I've been tested for covid-19. The facility is small, but for the price it's fine."

"My step-father moved into Eustis Senior Care. They were willing to work with us with what we had, and the situation we had. They are very caring and I like the place, the way they looked, the attention that it was given, and the explanation of the service itself. So far, I liked the way they are open, whatever time we need to go and visit, and always willing to work with us and help us in whatever they can. The staff was very pleasant, and very polite. And I'm for what I see when I look in, very caring with their patients. It is clean. It's not fancy, but it's comfortable for what it's needed."

"Hawthorne Inn of Ocala was an average facility, but the interaction I saw between the residents was excellent. They were interactive. It's good. We were in the dining area because it was around lunchtime, and Dad got to see the interaction of people there and was concerned about the language barrier. Most of them were only English speaking, and he's a Spanish-speaking 99%, He wanted to make sure that the location had some bilingual people or people who spoke his language so he could interact with them properly. We visited the three types of room sizes. They were adequate. The room size, for our standards for one person, was kind of in the middle range. It wasn't that big. The hallways were clean. Everything's OK. We went through a library area where the residents got to pick books and read. They had somewhat of a selection. It wasn't a huge selection. Then we stepped outside. In our opinion, the outside was not an appropriate interaction for outdoor activities because there was none, other than a small porch with a couple of seatings. You just kind of sit there and maybe bask in the sun, and that's about it. My dad is more of the outdoorsy type that he would like interactions with a garden or growing tomatoes, or there are animals in the facilities, or just basically gazing and seeing what's going on in there to kind of keep his mind occupied. I personally liked the wood floors. That made it a nice, very homey, and warm feeling. The staff was friendly. All the spaces that I visited were clean. I got a peek at their activity room or craft room where they were doing some painting or something like that, and it was small because this looks like a smaller facility than the other one we visited. I saw their menu and they had a variation of items."

"My husband moved in. It's good. It's close to our home. My husband's room is like an apartment. It's got a separate bathroom and a double bed. You had to furnish what you wanted. It's a nice, great, big room. It looks like a hotel room. The staff members are very nice. My husband is happy with the food. They have activities. They have a front porch with rocking chairs. In the section where my husband is, they have an outdoor area."
