This agency provided in home and in facility caregiver services. They provided my father with companionship, personal care and advocacy. Caregivers made daily reports to administration. They tried hard and did a great job matching the caregiver with the family. Caregivers were kind and communicative with the out-of state family members. They always returned my calls or texts. My father had the same caregiver most days. As with all caregiver agencies, they are short staffed at times, and the hours of service would sometimes vary. Communication with the administrative personnel has been very poor. I have not had response from them via email or phone messages after numerous tries over 4 months. I need their assistance in getting my father's long term care costs reimbursed by insurance. The insurance company tells me that most providers respond to requests for information within 7-10 days. I have repeatedly had to call the insurance company to reopen the claim due to lack of cooperation from My Brother's Keeper. The services provided were paid out of pocket via automatic credit card charges. In short, we have been unable to make use of my father's long term care insurance benefits because of the unresponsiveness of My Brother's Keeper administrative staff.
