I went and helped my dad move into one of their private villa houses. The villa is great. It's huge and more than what he needs. He gets weekly light housekeeping and linen. He also told me he has liked the meals so far.

Sky Active Marion Woods is very nice, clean, and very good. The food was good; I ate lunch there. The people were great. The manager of the place was super. The girl that showed us around was very, very knowledgeable and good. They offer medicine if you want. They offer you the opportunity to have your clothes washed or you wash them yourselves. They offer certain things or programs during the week. A couple of days during the week, they'll take you to doctor's visits and places you need to go. There are games, too. I couldn't find anything wrong with that place. It was very good.

I toured Sky Active Marion Woods. I liked the fact that it was very, very personable. The staff was very caring. It was homey. It's a little bit more like apartment-style rooms. The property is set back in a wooded area surrounding the building. The staff was very kind. They gave us a complimentary banana bread to bring home, and it was delicious. It seems very, very clean and the structure appears fine. It was a bright and friendly atmosphere.

We toured Sky Active Marion Woods. The place was nice. I didn't like the layout of the rooms. It was the main thing that I didn't like. It was clean. The person who accommodated us was very pushy. That was the place that did not do breakfast, they just do lunch and dinner. To the lady who accommodated us, my suggestion is don't put too much pressure on people, because we told her that we couldn't do anything until we sold our house. But she wanted us to sign then and there and kept saying, "Well, I can give you this, I can give you this now, they have the specials going on," but we couldn't because we can't do anything until we sell our house. But we're trying to find a place that we want to go to after we sell the house.

Sky Active Marion Woods was very nice and I was considering one of their apartments, but it's a little more sterile. Everyone was very nice and I talked to a couple of the residents there and they seemed to be very happy. It's more regimented and that's not me. I liked the layout. I liked the activities. Their activities schedule looked good. I didn't like the fact that there was a lot of carpeting. I use a walker and it's easier on a flat surface. I liked the way the apartments went out. They had a very good value two-bedroom that would have been very, very nice. They also had a studio that was much nicer than most studios. It was very open and pretty spacious for a studio. They had good closet space, but I did not like the carpet. The carpeting was new, very nice, and very beautiful, but I would prefer not to have the carpeting. The staff was excellent.

It is more of an independent living. The facility was very clean. They have done some renovations recently. The staff was very nice. The sales manager spent quite a bit of time with us, talking with us and showing us several different rooms. They had a pool and a little reading area, or library. They had many different social activities. They had a nice dining room. The rooms that we saw were very nice. It had a little kitchenette-type area, a living area, and a bedroom.

They were undergoing renovation, so that made it very difficult to see what it's going to be. They're doing a full facility redo over a period of months. They were replacing carpeting, replacing flooring, and replacing everything. They've got part of it not shut down. It was a mess in certain areas, but they kept it out of the way. As they get a room open, they're totally redoing the rooms. They had kitchenettes in the rooms, not kitchens. They had some very good options as far as the bedroom sizes, and their apartments had screened-in porches. They had a total salon. The staff who assisted us with the tour was excellent. We were introduced to the senior manager in the evening who was doing a visit to see what was going on. They were very cooperative and they spent like 20 minutes with us just trying to make sure everything was good. They had the transportation, but they basically do it two days a week instead of five days a week. They had options on their bus trips to go visit a restaurant about every two weeks.

They had some construction going on, and so it's going to be something spectacular after they're done. With that in mind, I really liked the place. Everyone that I spoke with was very, very nice. I had lunch with them and the food was excellent. It wasn't very much, but it was enough for me. They had an activities room where there were some watercolor paintings on display. They also do bingo and I was shown the pool. Throughout the levels that I was at, they had little places where you could sit and be kind of private. The staff was very nice. They were real people, which was very refreshing. The areas where there was no construction was clean and inviting. I enjoyed it myself immensely.

We visited Marion Woods in Ocala and we liked that one out of all the communities we saw. We like just the plain old facilities, the apartments and the villas. The staff was very good and we found the people that were there, the residents, very communicative and very friendly. We liked the friendly atmosphere of the place. The location was very private too and they had good facilities outside for walking with privacy.

Marion Woods would have been our first choice for mom. It's an independent living, but she didn't have the physical capabilities of doing what she needed to do there. It's nice and bright, and the people were friendly. The gentleman, his name is Rick, showed us around and he's very knowledgeable and personable. The facility looks nice, the grounds are nice, there's a swimming pool and a lot of amenities. The person who gave us the tour has been there for a long time too. That was one thing that was important to us, the fact that there was longevity with the staff. Some places you don't get that. They told us about the food and said that it was very good, but we didn't try it. The place was nice and clean, and the layout was good but people need to be able to walk fairly long distances. It's a two-story facility, so they have to be able to navigate elevators and stuff. The room has a kitchenette, a full-sized refrigerator with a separate freezer, which I didn't find at the assisted living. So we thought that's nice.

I went on an in-person visit to Marion Woods. The visit was fine. I saw the dining area. We went to see a studio apartment, and it was fine. It had a balcony, a refrigerator, a sink, a bathroom, and a walk-in shower, and it's all good. It seemed that they had an outbreak of Corona, and everybody was in their rooms. I only saw one person that day, and it was fine.

Marion Woods was a nice place. The staff was very friendly, they said hello to everybody that was a resident, and it was like one big happy family. Their rooms were very nice. Their dining area was a big place. If not because of coronavirus, they would be sitting together. So now they're spaced out, but it was very nice. She gave me a whole menu, there was something every 2 hours going on for the whole day; they have a lot of activities. I liked it.

I've been in Marion Woods for a month and a half now. It's fine. I don't have any problems or complaints. I am staying in a 150-square-foot apartment with a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. They have a little exercise room and a swimming pool and enough things to do. The dining area is fine and homey. They have a lot of decor around the hall like pictures and things like that. It is nice. I play pool and walk, but there are a lot of things to do here.

The people at Marion Woods has a lot of spirit. The residents are very active; their morale is great. They focus on keeping the residents together and socializing by having three meals a day where they sit on a small table so everybody can hear each other and talk. They are served by waiters and waitresses so they could just sit and relax. Our initial impression is what made us choose this facility - they are lively and high-spirited. The room is beautiful and spacious. It has a porch overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom is perfect for elderly. There is a sliding glass door going out to the porch. If you need assistance, there is a home health agency who can provide you with that and they have an office located in the building.

We found a place called Marion Woods in Ocala Florida. It is a very nice retirement community. The people working there are wonderful. Everybody is very helpful and very good. My mother has a beautiful room. It is a one-bedroom, and it is very nice. The food is excellent, and the dining room is beautiful and clean. Everybody is friendly, helpful, and very good. The safety is great. She got to wear a necklace with a button. If she falls, somebody is there immediately. It is very nice, and I'm happy with the security as well as the safety.

Marion Woods was very nice with very good food. You had your own apartment with a kitchen and one bedroom. You had a call bell if you needed to call a nurse. They would do your washing too, if you needed. They sub-contract their healthcare out, so they provided food, did laundry, and change bedsheets. They also had their own bus. A disabled neighbor who was legally blind had his cousin from Pennsylvania come down and helped him moved in when his mama died. He was very happy there. However, I don't think he had friends or family to take him out overnight for a change. He had been there about 6 or 7 years, and he liked it a lot. He's not tired of it. He enjoyed it, and it was just was he needed. They had activities like healthcare seminars. They probably had bingo. They had a community room where maybe some of the ladies do some needle point. They had a library, a card table where you could sit down and play cards. It had a nice area, so if you were steady on your feet, you could take a nice little walk.

I had lunch at Marion Woods with the residents, and the food selection was very well done. They had a wide selection of whatever they want. They all seemed pretty content. The room that I was looking at was an efficiency. It was well-decorated. The shower and the bath was a good size. They had an activities chart. They showed me that on the wall, of things that happened throughout the day. They showed us a couple of rooms, like a day room where they had TV and they played bingo and stuff, so that was pretty good.

Marion Woods had about everything that we asked for and needed. It is a very nice facility, and, in fact, I would go there myself. The staff are very helpful and very nice people. They have a room that has exercise equipment, but I didn?t see anybody using that room. I saw people sitting around and playing cards. The residents looked very much at home and enjoyed being there. That makes it very inviting for me.

Marion Woods is very nice. I liked the people, the dining facilities, and all rooms have balconies with a nice view of the pool. We looked at the studio and one bedroom, and they were all very nice. The staff was nice and showed my mother around. They had a library, movies, bus trips, shopping, pool tables and a beauty parlor. They had everything she would need.
