My husband is at Osprey Point Nursing Center. The grounds are very nicely kept. It's always pristine and clean. No garbage. No weeds. It's very nice. Nice environment. Inside is spotless with shiny floors. The patients are all well cared for. The cleaning staff is excellent. The physical therapy staff is excellent, too. Everybody I've encountered is very compassionate, just very patient. Personally, I don't know how they do it; I don't have that kind of patience. They take their time like it's not a big problem. They're just really laid back about everything. They're there for the patients and the patients' families. They're very compassionate people there. Everybody I've run into is very, very good. They have bingo and movie nights and all kinds of things. I go there and visit my husband. He's in physical therapy, so he doesn't get involved in the other stuff. For the food, I think you can pick certain things off a menu, but it's very limited for each meal. You don't order a menu in a hospital, so I think it's similar to that. However, the food always smells good. My husband hasn't complained, and he likes to complain, but he hasn't really complained too much about anything. The facility is very clean, very well-run, and very well-set, but it's very expensive. They have a good staff, and they don't seem to ever be short of people, and that costs money. So, I would say it's worth the money except I can't afford it fo very long. They take very good care of their people there.

My grandmother is a current resident at Osprey. I am so thankful for the loving care she receives from all of her nurses and especially Ms. Susan the Activities Director. They are extremely personable and care for all of their patients and their families.

When I was at Osprey Point, they were doing a deep clean. Patients were out in the hallway, and they were scrubbing inside the rooms. That tells me that there was some kind of a virus going around that they were trying to kill. The facilities were all nice.

We looked at Osprey Point Nursing Center, and it’s a nice facility. They do quite well care-wise. It is also located in a nice area of the town. The rooms that we saw were comfortable to average rooms. Most of them are doubles, but they also have some singles.

Osprey Point Nursing Center is a 5 star building and exhibits this rating through the quality of care they deliver to their residents. They have an exquisite dining room service and you choose your meal for the day. You can hardly find this anymore anywhere! Community involvement and volunteers are a great way they reach out to Sumter County. All of the employees are wonderful and work so hard to take care of their residents. Whenever I have to go for rehab I am going here!

I visited about 28 nursing homes, and I finally found Osprey Point Nursing Center for my partner, who has Parkinson's. They were wonderful, and in fact, they were so good that I told them that if I ever needed a nursing home, I wanted them to be sure to have my name on file because that is where I wanted to be. The layout is wonderful. The programs are terrific. They have programs for every level, and they get people involved. They direct the patients very well, and they are really personable, and you can tell that they love their patients. There are two beds in each room, and the rooms are spotless. The bathrooms are spotless; no matter when you go it, they are clean. They had church services and they had kids from schools come and sing. They have other people come in and do entertainment. Every day they had all kinds of activities. They were constantly aware of where the patients were and what their needs were.
