"I had hip revision and I had to go to Sabal Palms for about two months. I had therapy and it was excellent although their food was not good because I think it is institutional food. The facility itself is beautiful. I had more good things to say about them than anything else. It was a very cheery facility and I like the arrangement. It is L-shaped so each bed is not side by side. Each has its own little area which was so much nicer than a lot of nursing homes. All in all it was a good experience. I would highly recommend Sabal Palms to anyone who needs therapy. "

"My sister was a resident here and had been in like 6 different nursing homes in the last year . This is the ONLY Facility that i believe in the area that truely understands people with Alzheimer's . The staff was always great and would always take the time to talk with the family and was a godsend to my sister . She was always clean and and dressed properly . They would always call and let me know about even the least little change in her . Scott Elsass was always a phone call away . You could tell that the staff there had been properly train to deal with all aspects of this disease . My only regret is that i wish i would have heard about Largo Rehab & Spa sooner . I would like all the staff to know just how much the family appreciated there kindness ."

From the admissions team, to the admin. staff, to the amazing aids and nurses - they made my Dad so comfortable in his last days, and they took such great care of our family. In a word - exceptional. "Gulfshore made it very easy to pick a rehab for my aunt. When I asked for a tour, the wait was under two minutes. The Admissions staff were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The building was clean and it did not smell. I toured Gulf Shore first and toured five other places; and after visiting Gulf Shore, it was an easy decision because they set the tone and met every expectation we had bringing our aunt into their rehab. The staff were very nice and all smiled and said hello. I knew this was the place I'd lay my own head if I needed to do so. Our experience has been nothing but exceptional and the Director of Nursing was very professional. He made sure my aunt was comfortable and all of her needs were met. Gulf Shore will always be my number one choice. "

"I was for the most part pleased with this facility and it's cleanliness. Also, the friendliness of the staff was quite good. They took fairly good care of my grandfather, and provided sources of entertainment and amusements for the seniors staying there. They seemed to genuinely care about him and passing all pertinent information on to our family about his care. There were some instances where I was disappointed in the manner in which he was treated or left in a dirty linen for too long, all in all I would say they did a good job, aside from those instances mentioned above. When he passed away they were very kind and expressed a deep sympathy for our family. The price from his stay was partially covered under his Medicare insurance I believe. I appreciate all of the care they did provide for my Grandfather in his last months of life. "

"My husband is at The Care Center at Pinellas Park. He hasn't been there that long, and they seem to know what they're doing. They're under new management. It used to be called Signature HealthCARE of Pinellas Park. I've met all the staff on the third floor where David is. They seem to be competent, hardworking, and friendly. He has physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. He has Parkinson's and dementia. He's in a clean room with two beds, which I'm pleased with, and a bathroom. The food was the one drawback. They have a lot going on there."

"My mother was in Hospice Care at Palm Garden. I am so thankful for the wonderful care she received while there. The nurses, CNA's and every other worker on the wing she was on went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. They were absolutely wonderful, Thank you from the bottom of my heart! "

"Advanced Rehab & Health Center was not a pretty facility, but they were very good. They were with my dad all the time. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and caring. The dining room was not very nice. The facility was in need of updating. "

"My sister is at the Highland Pines Rehabilitation Center now. We went there three different times and finally decided that is where she needed to go because of the medical facilities that they had available. The staff members are adequate, and most of them are very friendly and very attentive to the residents. I give them five stars; everything is excellent. The staff is very well trained and very responsive. My sister is doing very well. They are giving her physical therapy every day, and she is gaining strength. She likes it there, and she has able assistance for bathing, dressing, and everything else that she needs. "

"My mom was at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Largo. Considering COVID, it was pretty good. They would only allow one person back at a time. When my mother first went there after her stroke, I had a broken collarbone, so my daughter had to drive me down a nine-and-a-half-hour drive. Because of my injury, they did allow my daughter to come back with me to help because we just wanted to tend to my mom. The facility was amazing. The physical therapists communicated a lot with us. Anytime I would call, I would get a call back. Granted, it might have taken a few hours (I understand that the nursing staff was busy), but I would get a call back that day. They did have some nice activities. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was very attentive, so I really enjoyed our experience at Encompass. The staff was phenomenal. It was a beautiful building, and very clean. The PT rooms were great. Her insurance paid for everything. Right after my mom's stroke was her 85th birthday, and we asked if we could have more than one guest to visit with her, so they let us bring ten people into a private room. They decorated it for us, and we threw her a birthday party. They had some pretty nice activities. She did not go to a lot of them because she was pretty tired after physical therapy."

"I broke my left leg on February 12. I had emergency surgery, and then I was transferred to Kensington Gardens Rehab for my healing process for my broken leg. We have a new administrator for the last three or four weeks. Things are getting much more professional. They were not very professional when I first arrived here in February. There was a lot of temporary help that came and went. They seemed to have their own interest. That has changed now in the last three weeks. The food has improved. The whole management of business of this place has improved since this new administrator arrived. It gets better all the time. They were keeping the place pretty clean before, but now the attitude about keeping it clean has improved. There is bingo three times a week. There is an activities director, who is very responsive if people want to do things like coloring and crossword puzzles. There is a smoking patio, which I don't go to. I only look at from a distance because I'm not a smoker. There's definitely an improvement in the overall attitude and how the place feels in terms of friendliness. There's still a few staff who are crusty and rough around the edges. There also a few staff who left. It is an older building that's been under other management through the years. So it is what it is, but it's quite well laid out in my opinion. They have a wing where any new people go for two weeks for covid quarantine before they are placed in any other part of the building. They are very Covid conscious. All the staff have been vaccinated."

"I am giving Comprehensive 5 STARS***** I have been there 5 times for rehab. 5 Times, 5 Stars! They have a very friendly, caring staff. The therapy staff are wonderful and I like to see the same staff is still there each time I have to stay. The CNA's work hard as do the Nurse's. They never seem to mind when I ask for that second cup of coffee. The food is good and you certainly get plenty of it. I love "Jake " he is the Therapy Dog, a Golden Retriever. Activities brings him to your room for visits and Jake personally delivered my newspaper each morning. I have never seen anything like it. everyone loves Jake he has the best job! Housekeeping does a good job and are a friendly bunch. Everyone says Hello and Good Morning and you are treated with respect. The staff seems happy and they smile that speak volumes. I have made and kept 2 very dear friends. They were my room-mates on one of my many stays at Comprehensive. I enjoy each stay but am always happy to go home! I realize they are the reason I am able to go home and fell safe doing so. "
