"What a great experience at Trinity Regional Rehab Center! My 75 year old mother was hospitalized on January 18, 2018, for several pelvic fractures. She was discharged from the hospital on January 23rd. I attempted to transfer her to TRR on that date, but wasn’t able to, at that time. She was transferred to and admitted to a local New Port Richey skilled nursing care facility. What a nightmare! She remained at the NPR location until I was able to transfer her to TRR, on February 8, 2018. Mom’s entire outlook and attitude positively changed upon admission. What a night and day comparison to the NPR facility. She remained at TRR until she was discharged on March 3, 2018. I was thoroughly impressed with the TRR facility and staff. Everyone was professional and so attentive. The facility is bright, clean, and well-kept. The outdoor gazebo area is a great escape for patients and their families. The dining and media rooms were great perks, as well. The entire staff communicated with me throughout her stay, including a conference call with LPN Heather and admin-in-training Andrea after initial admission and health & PT review. I was notified of all changes in medication and status. Mom loved her entire PT/OT team, including Doug and Kimberly. Jane at the front desk was kind and professional. Heather C, LPN, was attentive, professional, and answered any and all questions presented. Nurse unit manager, Susan, contacted me several times each week, with updates. Danielle, CNA, in the spa/shower was very gentle with my mother during her showers. Mary, LPN, was so personable and kindly tolerated all of my questions and concerns regarding the various medications dispensed. Kelly and Amy, both supervising RN’s, always took the time to assist me and address any concerns. Wound Care personnel evaluated my mom’s wounds every Wednesday and her bedsores, which she received at the NPR facility, healed rapidly. Mom was thrilled to have her hair permed in the facility hair salon. Maria, in the business office, communicated with me regarding insurance coverage and any outstanding payments due. I also received a follow-up call from Scott, the facility manager, after Mom’s discharge. Overall, this was a great experience. I highly recommend the facility and wouldn’t hesitate to admit my friends and family, in their time of need. "

"This faculty is great.. I was there for a few months for rehabilitation.. Everything from the staff, the care,the physical therapists, the cleanliness, the food etc was fantastic... There is no way anyone can say a negative thing about this faculty.. I only wish I could go back and visit the people who took care of me but cause of Covid lockdown I can't unless it changed. I was discharged in middle of October... Thank you to all the staff"

"I am a resident of Orchid Cove at New Port Richey. I believe it's about one hundred twenty beds. The place is reasonably clean, and they provide everything from skilled nursing, down to people being on their own. The food is typical of nursing homes, it's not gourmet by any means, but it's adequate, and they try. If you cook every day for one hundred and twenty people, it would be difficult to remain first class for a meal. The staff is good, and the management is fair, but as far as homes of this type, this is probably one of the better ones."

"My stepmom has been in Bear Creek Nursing Center for a month now. So far, she likes it very much. It's a small facility, and that's what I liked about it. People are very friendly, and the place is extremely clean. The administration was very helpful and very patient with me. I would highly recommend it. She has a shared room, and it's pretty big. There's a window, but she wanted to be by the door, and she was given that choice. Everyone has a TV, a set of drawers, and a closet, and there's a bathroom that both residents would share. The two residents are separated by a curtain. They have music, games, and crafts, and she has done several of those things. Several times, they took her to the cafeteria area instead of eating in her room. And she was ecstatic about it because she met other residents and she was talking to them. She has complained about a couple of the things she got for food. They are not Medicaid pending like a lot of other places do, so I had to pay for the first month until her Medicaid gets approved. "

"My mom is in Mitchell Rehab. It is connected to a hospital because it is intensive. They seem to be all doing really good. I mean there’s nothing pleasing my mom, but I think they’re OK. The level of care seems to be perfect. I only see her room and I don’t see where she goes to rehab. They don’t have a staff there. I would say the rest is really nice. The food looks good. My mom is complaining only because she has no teeth and she is refusing to eat more stuff because she is picking out food that she can’t chew. "

"My spouse is bed bound due to advanced Parkinson Disease. I visited almost daily and he was there go 3 months. The facility isc clean and staff always helpful."

"We put my father where he seems to be most comfortable, which is Madison Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Center. Some of the things I liked about the location were his attitude about the people that were there, the members of the staff that he seemed to really connect with, the openness of the location (it was very homey), and it seemed to be very accepting of everybody despite where they came from. I feel that if we were to make another choice, I think this would still be high on our list. Everybody was very helpful. I just think that it was a good choice all around. My father started out in a multi-person room, but he has moved into an individual room at this point. I would consider the room to be pretty big for the location. It's a nice apartment. He has Alzheimer's, and it's getting worse as it goes on, but he seems to maintain a bit of his own freedom. With regards to activities, they basically engage my father daily every morning. They ask him where he wants to go and if he wants to go to an area where he is with a lot of people. Even if he doesn't want to be with a lot of people, they end up giving him an area where he is engaging with people on a regular basis, which is really nice. They've had things like holiday festivals with him, Oktoberfest, Christmas parties, and things like that. I think that really engages his senses and engages him physically and intellectually. I just think that's really, really good for his state of mind. I have tried their food. I was there with my father for Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas as well. I try to go down about every three to five weeks to spend some time with him. I think it's a very family-oriented facility, which was very helpful when I was looking for places. I think this is a great place for him."

"My wife was in Solaris Bayonet Point for Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. They have marvelous, well-trained, educated, and skilled staff members. It's clean, pleasant, and nicely decorated. I was very satisfied. They have a library, TV room, and different activities like Bingo. They have people supervising them when they are in those areas. They have a very high therapist to patient ratio, they have fairly new and nice equipment, and they're always changing and getting better ones. They have shared and private rooms. The food is very good, imaginative, and very well-presented."

"She's got round the clock care at Consulate Health Care of Bayonet Point. She was put back there from the hospital because she's complaining her legs gave out. It's clean, and they're pretty neat there. They took good care of her; she got everything she needs. But, she tells me that she has to wait for people to come and do things for her. I said she just has to be patient, and I know she isn't. I've seen her room and her apartment before. It got a bathroom and bed, TV, phone, and Internet cable. They gave her meals in there. I've been in the dining room. They get served there. It's pretty good. They have an exercise room, and they help her do exercises. "

"My mother had a major stroke and aftetlr six days in the hospital, we came to Carrollwood Care Center for rehab. She came here unable to speak, unable to swallow, incontinent, and unable to move anything head to toe on her right side. After only two weeks, she is speaking some, is swallowing, and is able to move about in her wheelchair and bed pretty well. The facility renders exceptional, acute, aggressive care ... for purposes of rehabilitating a person back to home. They are amazing professionals ... Admin personnel, RNs, LPNs, CNAs, social worker, admissions, PT, OT, Speech Therapists, and more. The facility is very clean (wonderful cleaning staff!) and the atmosphere is jovial and positive. I cannot say enough how grateful I am for the care they have given my mother, Sally. She is coming home to Connecticut with me tomorrow, and I will greatly miss the sweet faces we have come to know at Carrollwood Care Center. This is a quality rehab center and I highly recommend it!"

"My stepmom was visiting from New York. While she was here she broker her hip and went to Peninsula care and Rehab. Everyone was so nice to her. The rehab team was so amazing I watched her get stronger everyday. They did such a good job she was able to go home 3 weeks later! The nurses and Cnas were amazing. ON her last day there even though she was excited to go home she was sad that she had to say goodbye to so many nurses, cnas, rehab and administration staff that she cried. She is so greatful to all the staff there. She is home now and doing great and plans to visit Peninsula care when she comes back for a visit so she can see all the great staff that took such good care of her!"

"My 92 year old father was admitted for rehabilitation after a hospital stay. The facility is very clean. Without exception, everyone that I dealt with, which included rehab staff, nutrition staff, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, admission staff ... was super capable and skilled and compassionate. I was confident that my father was being well supervised and cared for. "

"Best decision I ever made. Fractured my shoulder and live alone so came to the Blue Heron Re-habilitation center. The rooms were spacious with a private bath and shower. The EVS team kept the room spotless. PT and OT were amazing. Jordan and Janine were exceptional and kept me on track to be able to go home faster. They were very pleasant and knew what they were doing. The nursing staff was exceptional. Ashley and Wykinda took exceptional care of me. I actually miss both of them. The CNAs took care of all my needs, Yolanda and Audio were kind and took care of any need I had. I would highly recommend this facility for re-habilitation and assisted living. They are top notch!!!"

"My family transferred me to Tampa Lakes from another facility to continue my rehab for a broken neck and multiple thoracic fractures. I love it here. The facility is beautiful, clean, bright, and the rehab gym is out of this world. The staff to patient ratio is amazing. There is wifi so my family brought my iPad in so I can play games in my room. I am progressing more quickly here as I receive more attention and therapy work here than at the prior facility. My family loves visiting me here as wel and can enjoy eating meals here with me too as the food is that good."
