"I went on an in-person tour at Griffin House. They were very nice. It was a nice facility. They let me see the whole facility and all the rooms. The staff member was very professional. The facility was nice and clean. The residents were nice and clean, too. They told me a lot of stuff. They had nice studio rooms. The staff member showed me another part where the rooms have bathrooms in them. Overall, it was very nice."

"We are residents of Southern Manor at Candler Assisted Living. The upkeep is very good. We have a two-room apartment. They pretty much take care of everything. They fed us three meals a day. They do our laundry. They'll come in and clean your house if you want to. There's a registered nurse on duty and a couple of CRNs. They handle all our medications. So far it's been great. The staff is great. They're all quite friendly. They know everybody by name and they provide whatever we need. The food's always good. We have 2 or 3 different cooks. So things change occasionally. We don't have the same boring meals all the time. We have an activities director. I have dialysis three days a week, so I can't participate in a lot of things, but something is going on all the time. It costs, but it's worth it."

"We are thrilled with them. My in-laws found that they needed assisted living, one needed the memory unit but the other does not. We were able to work out arrangements for 2 separate rooms for them, but the staff is so kind and compassionate that they are eager to help them stay together as much as possible. These folks go far and above what is expected or required. I truly feel like we have family looking in on them. Such peace of mind! And the facility is gorgeous!! Food is plentiful and delicious. "

"I ended up choosing The Lodge at Bethany for my mom, and they have been wonderful. They are over the top. The place is very cozy. The aides and the nurses, no matter what time you call, give you time and they listen. And if they know something better, they make suggestions. It's just awesome. My mom gained more daughters with the aides and nurses there. They care and they show it. You can always find a nurse or an aide on the floor, there's always somebody somewhere. They celebrate all kinds of things like they celebrate Peanut Day, National Assisted Living Day, and residents' birthdays. They do puzzles, dominoes, eat out, walking clubs, and gyms. Everything there has been great."

"I lived at Camden Place for about a week. It's a nice place, but it's not really technically an assisted living facility because the people they have there are not even nurses. They can't do anything. They can't give medicine and they can't help you medically in any way. It's a great place; they just don't have the personnel there. If you require more assistance than what they're able to give, they won't do it. They should improve on their nursing care. They serve three meals a day. The staff is very nice, and the facility is very clean. However, they have no activities, and they don't offer any amenities. They have housekeeping, and they come in and clean your room."
