"My brother-in-law is here. I think they're very caring people, they've got their hands full with him and I appreciate it. He's had a lot of problems there and they've been really good about trying to work with him and help him as much as they can. He loves the food there. A lot of the people in the memory care part aren't very active and they don't talk a lot, but the staff members are very nice and helpful. So far, I think we think it's a good place. I don't think any place is perfect, but they're good."

"Fite was not just a facility, it was home for my Grandma. The staff and other residents loved her like her own family. The meals were wholesome and delicious and she especially enjoyed the ice cream any time she could. She enjoyed the many social and craft activities options made available to her. I believed keeping her mind and hands active helped keep her young. The rooms are spacious and the hallways well lighted and wide. Staff is always friendly."

"My sister will be moving into The Fountains in Cartersville within the month. There were walking trails all around it, a swimming pool, and a nice big covered porch in the back with a big backyard in a fenced-in area. The food looked delicious. There was a hairdresser on site, as well as daily activities. They went on weekly activities on a bus. Rather than seeing people shut in their rooms, you see people out and about. Everything in that place was beautiful."

"I was at Oaks at Ellijay for respite care. It was a very good experience. It was a very nice place and the staff tended to my every need. I had a nice room. It was big and had a view of the outdoors. The food was outstanding. If I wanted something special, they would fix it for me. They had church services, bingo, they brought in a dog for therapy that everyone petted, showed movies, and all kinds of stuff going on."

"I do not have anyone living at Morning Pointe but have been there for Caregiver Workshops and a Support Group meetings. I took my mother-in-law to these meetings; she is the main caregiver for her 97 year old mother and her 72 year old husband, both who have dementia-the workshop was just what my mother-in-law needed and was beneficial to me as well. The facility is very nicely decorated ('homey') and clean. The staff is always very friendly, helpful and empathetic-whether you are a 'paying customer' or not. It is evident that they truly care! "

"I visited The Oaks at Fairmount. It was really better than I expected, and that was pretty good. They do the meals and the laundry. This kind of COVID thing, it kinda limits it. There are a whole lot, and I'm only just in a little bit of area, so I really didn't see a whole lot. But they offered like, if I wanna do more virtually. We just got limited, but it was a very good limited visit. And they really covered out everything we needed to know in a short period of time. These are the one's we're considering. They're our first choice if it comes out that we can't handle it. Other than it being really small, it was really good. It's small, but cozy enough."

"Shady Oaks was one of the best facilites in our area. The price was less expensive than the others. They have rooms with a bathroom in it. The lady that owns the place is a registered nurse. The staff were nice and they have someone capable of handling medications and giving them to the patients when they are due. They take good care of my mother. I have not eaten there, but I saw that the food they serve looks good and my mom likes it. "

"The Gardens at Royal Oaks has been wonderful with my mother. I'm very pleased with them. Her room is fine and clean. The dining room is really nice, and she gets three full meals a day. The staff is very attentive. They have excellent food. There's a monthly activity calendar that comes out with a variety of things, like bingo, shopping, chair yoga, manicures, and movies."

"I did a tour of Tiger Lily Estates. I wish we could afford it because that's where I would put my mother. There are quite a few cottages, and they have residents in the cottages. The staff was awesome. We did not try the food; we met the chef and he sounded awesome. The dining area was very nice. They had small tables. I think four people could sit at the tables, and there were quite a few tables in the dining room. They have a big dining room, a big living room kitchen area, and I think each cottage could hold around 25 residents. It was like a big house with 25 bedrooms, and a large living area, kitchen, and dining area. The bedrooms in the cottages were nice, roomy, and very cozy. They had transportation services and a physical therapy room. They had a physician that came on-site to see the residents. They had a laundry room and a medication room. The grounds are just absolutely beautiful, and the maintenance looked great."

"Tranquility had everything you could ask for with very good staff. The unit we looked at was a condo, which was awesome. It was beautiful, clean, and spacious. "

"My husband was in The Spires at Berry College before he passed away. It was probably the best option in this place and I didn't worry about him. I think he got good care there. But it's very expensive. If we don't have long-term care insurance, it can wipe you out. Thankfully, I had long-term care insurance. At times it seemed like they were understaffed because if he pressed the call button, it could take a long time for someone to get there, but they really tried to do their best. The food tasted okay to me, but I could just hear others complain about it. It doesn't anywhere resemble any kind of long- term care place. The decor is great."

"The care that Riverwood Senior Living provides for my husband is excellent. His room is very good, and I'm on my way there now to bring him his TV. They do puzzles, play cards, board games, they have entertainment, and all of that. The food is very good and he likes it."

"My sister-in-law resides at Tranquilty.. They treat the residents as if they were their own relatives. It is such a blessing to know she is being loved and taken care of in such a wonderful place. "

"I feel so good about my Mom being there. The staff is incredible and very attentive and so accommodating. The staff is very responsive and answers my questions on a very timely basis. Having my Mom stay there is one of the best decisions my family made. I live 800 miles from there and I am at peace with my decision. My Mom loves to sing with the groups that come in just for that purpose. There is also a weekly church group that comes in. I also like the fact that the facility is small and the scenery that the residents can see is very soothing with farm land, cows and a pond/lake out back."
