My Mom was in need of special care as dementia slowly took her from us. I’m so happy my sister found Ridge Manor Residential Memory Care in Calhoun, Georgia. When Mom lost her appetite, they tried to encourage her to eat by making her favorite foods for her. They welcomed all our family members in for visits, and made us feel at home. The facility is very nice and provides a home-like atmosphere, and it was spotlessly clean. To the dedicated owner, director and staff of Ridge Manor, we will always be grateful for the compassionate care Mom received there.

My beloved mother is a resident of Ridge Manor and is in the late stages of dementia. We are so happy with her care here. She is well-attended to by 3 nurses who treat her like family and we are always welcomed when we go for a visit. Additionally, the staff calls us daily with updates. The rooms are immaculately clean and decorated tastefully. Their meals are well-balanced and delicious and they offer fun activities for those who wish to participate. Our only regret is that we didn't find Ridge Manor first! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts!

My mother was a resident at Ridge manor. They do such a great job to provide care for their residents. They have clean rooms, a helpful staff. My mom has alzheimers, it was hard to take care of her and triplets at the same time, i was so grateful to find a place that would take care of her how I would want to.. Their whole program is catered towards Memory Care. She also loves nature and the outdoor area is great. I would pay 3 times their pice for the peace of mind i have.

I am a nurse by trade and fully trust Ridge Manor with caring for my mother. Before she arrived at Ridge Manor she had a poor appetite. We hired a caregiver at home and she barely ate anything and was very depressed. After a week of staying at Ridge Manor, we noticed a significant difference in her personality and appetite. She was more social and ate over 80% of her meals. The caregivers actually take the time to sit with her and encourage her to eat. The food looks fresh and delicious. This is a great option for memory care and I highly recommend Ridge Manor.

My mother moved from a larger facility where there were staffing issues. She has late-stage Alzheimer's and they found her wandering in front of the building. We are so grateful that we found Ridge Manor - Calhoun. Their 1:3 ratio provides excellent oversight for my mother and she has not had any issues with wandering here. We can tell that the staff care and are experienced. It is such a blessing to have found Ridge Manor and I would recommend it to anyone seeking memory care home.

In addition to memory care, we have experience with challenging conditions such as Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Huntington’s, and PSP, as well as with ostomies, feeding tubes, nebulizers, and supplemental oxygen.

The staff at Ridge Manor are extensively trained in memory care and are prepared to assist through the later stages of dementia and Alzheimer’s. Our high staffing ratios and social activities are designed to address the deep emotional and spiritual needs that, if unmet, can lead to a sense of loneliness and isolation and produce challenging behaviors.
Ridge Manor’s has 2 staff on duty for 6 clients. This rich staffing ratio allows staff to provide high levels of interaction and support which is key to high-quality assisted living care, especially for those with memory loss and complex medical conditions.
Ridge Manor’s staff are extensively trained and experienced in memory care and are prepared to care for the later stages of Alzheimer’s or other types of dementia and challenging conditions.
