"Right at home took care of my father for years. They were excellent. I never had a problem of anyone not showing up. They are always very caring and loved my father. They took him riding in car just to get out/doctor’s appointments and did his baths, etc. They were “great”. The staff in the office is great also. "

"Latoya is very responsive. She was one of the first agencies to actually come out to my home to sit and talk to me about my needs. She even offered advice on different things that could help me even if I didn’t decide to go with her company. I did decide to hire her company on and I’ve always been pleased with the service my caregivers provide. Her pricing was more reasonable than the other companies I looked into. I’ve been very pleased so far. I would definitely recommend her services. "

"I met the two ladies who own and manage the business and was impressed with their work ethic, training, skills, ability, and integrity. On occasion, each of them actually has been the caregiver in my home and my husband was pleased. They listen to me, they are experienced in patient care and are not afraid to take on tasks that other caregivers could not or would not do. They have gone above and beyond to help and to keep my husband comfortable and secure. My sense is that if I get in a bind and need help immediately or urgently they would find a way to provide it. I trust them."

Aging can be a difficult process, and loved ones may not always ask for help – often times it’s up to their family to evaluate their need for help around the house. While no two situations are exactly alike, this checklist can help you and your loved ones determine when it’s time to start the search for a home care provider.
If you’ve determined that your loved one needs the assistance of a care provider in their home, it may be time for a difficult conversation. Handled correctly, however, this process can bring a family together and ensure that everyone’s concerns are addressed. Use this PDF as a starting point to help the conversation stay as positive and productive as possible.
