"It is a small personal care home which is a perfect setting for my dad who is not overly social. He gets just enough social interaction and activity. The owners Jasona and Annie are wonderful to work with and provide great things for the residents there. "

"Kennesaw Village was small but was very nice. The room they showed us for Mom was also fairly small, and at the time it would have been OK because she's not mobile. Chloe showed us around and she was very helpful. The dining area was really nice. As soon as you come into the foyer, it's right there. It's a nice set up, and then they had the menu posted where you can read it. They showed us the activity room and different things that they have set up for the people there. They had a little van so they could take the people if they needed to run and purchase things. I also met the nurse. Even though they found out that we wouldn't be staying, they still spoke with us and told us about the facility. To me, the facility looked like it was remodeled. They had hardwood floors and everything like that. We would have to bring our stuff there. They didn't have the items there for you. You will bring your own, like a bed and a chair."

"We toured Canterfield of Kennesaw. The overall experience was good. We like the facility, the staff, and the residents. That would be the one that my dad would be picking once he chooses to do this. We looked at a one-bedroom apartment, and it was very nice. The staff was very informative."

"My friend moved to Camellia Place Assisted Living and Memory Care. It's a clean and very nice place. The staff and administration are attentive, and they keep you informed. It's more like a community setting. It has four individual homes and is a very pleasant place to be. Since it's assisted living, we brought all the furniture ourselves. It's more like a studio, with a one-bedroom, full bath, and a large closet. In each pod, there are three separate areas for families to come in: there are TVs, books, and activities. They have a nice dining room in each of the pods. They have three distinctive areas where they could congregate with the family instead of going into the room. They have an activities director, and they have activities."

"I met with a woman named Michelle at Bellevue Village at Neese Road and she was phenomenal. She was very kind and empathetic, but not overly. She gave me the tour and the facility is very clean. The staff was interacting with the residents. It was very nice. Now they're under renovation and it's their memory care area that was getting it, but I can look ahead and see what their vision is and I think it'll be very nice when they're done. They had a very open dining area and it seemed to accommodate activities as well, which is a good thing, because then you have a lot more activities going on. They had a courtyard that was very nicely fenced. It had large trees beyond that. So, it gave a feeling of being kind of in the country or outdoorsy, which is something my husband needs. It has a nice little walkway. Everything seemed very secure. Their menus looked very good. There were a lot of smiling faces when we were there. Everybody spoke to me and they would excuse themselves. Like if they were talking to a resident, they would tell them first that they were going to talk to me. I thought that was a nice touch."

"My brother moved in here. It's a very good place. I'm very happy with them. They're very good staff. They work well with their residents. It may be an older building, but it's one of the nicest places I've been in. I find it to be a very great place for my brother. When I first walked into this facility, the first thing they did was show me a facility that was not brand new but had caring, smiling people who had been there for a while. They had staff that's been with them for years. This had people that cared about what they were doing. They had something very fun. It was nothing cold there. Everything was about the warmth. They have now brought in some other things that they are working with that the residents need, like a gym. They have a salon. Two days a week, they take them out for shopping."

"My brother-in-law is here. I think they're very caring people, they've got their hands full with him and I appreciate it. He's had a lot of problems there and they've been really good about trying to work with him and help him as much as they can. He loves the food there. A lot of the people in the memory care part aren't very active and they don't talk a lot, but the staff members are very nice and helpful. So far, I think we think it's a good place. I don't think any place is perfect, but they're good."
