"I could not ask for a better place for my grandmother. They made her feel as if she was valued. The meals were on time, and not to mention that since it is also a hospital, the medical care was on point. They truly saw to my grandmother's needs and made it easy for us in the family to have peace of mind in having her there. "

"After my grandmother was first place in this facility, we had nothing but great things to say about it. The staff seemed nice and welcoming and the nurses and LPNs were great as well. I was there for several meal times, and everyone seemed to be well taken care of. After a few months, however, my grandmother started to complain about things. She was incontinent and would tell me and my family that she would lay in her urine for hours on end with no one coming to check on her. She also said that if she was asleep when meal time started, she would not eat because they would not bring anything to her when she awoke. I trusted my grandmother, so one day while I was there, I pulled out a marker and made a small mark on a pad on her bed. I left her that day and returned the next. The same pad was still on her bed and it was soaked in urine. My grandmother told me that they had gotten her out of bed a few times, but had not changed the pad. My family and I confronted the DON about the issues and she seemed bewildered. She apologized and promised that she would look into the issues. About a week later, she called us and told us that she had terminated several of the staff members for negligence. After that, things got a lot better and my grandmother was very happy there. "

"Facility was very clean with no odors, Staff was caring and attentive. It was nice to know my mom was in good hands when I was not around. I would recommend this facility to anyone. "

"My husband is at Chulio Hills. The place is excellent and extremely clean. The staff is wonderful, and I have nothing but good things to say about them. They are very caring to their patients. The therapy people are marvelous. They have different kinds of activities, like people who come in to play music. The play bingo and do arts and crafts. "

"I did my rehab in Signature Healthcare of Marietta. It was great, but they didn't always give your medication on time, that was my biggest complaint with them. I just had major surgery, and the nurse (or whatever you call him) would be standing out in the hall talking, not always giving medications on time. The doctor had assured me that it would be on a schedule, but that didn't matter to them. Everybody was great, except for the nurse distributing the medications. The food was terrible, and I lost weight when I was in there. The place was clean and well kept. The place was close to my family and to the hospital."

"My mother was admitted for rehab at Roseland Health Center, and I was so please with the care showed and the services offered to her. The therapy team, Gary, Precscilla, Daisy was awesome, nurse Brenda was thorough in explaining her meds, and social worker Yvone was so helpful and would keep me updated on her process, even when mom came home, she called to check on her. I would recommend Roseland to anyone and would do it all over again if needs be. It’s also one of the cleanest facilities I have ever visited. "

"This was a challenging time for us! Abdominal blockage and a week in ICU, 10 days on "the floor" for rehab and recoup! Kennestone was great, setting the bar extremely high! We were given our release date and the struggle begins! We visited 4 facilities and it came down to Signature on Tower Road! THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART FOR ANYONE READING THIS!! You want to do the best you can and you want to be wise! We met Shanon when we walked in, just showed up on a unscheduled visit, and she was great! Asked who we were and had us sign in and then showed us the facility! All of it! Answered all our questions and 2 days later we arrived in room 118B! From the time we walked in, to the last time we walked out, my mother received everything that she needed and wanted! Erica walked us through the paper work and her soulful demeanor relaxed our aniexty! Daloris was our first and last nurse, just plain awesome! CC was our care giver and we thought she never left the building! She would always show up and take care of my mom! They care about their jobs and they care about their patients! Long or short term, we met 1/2 of the residents! They all talked about how good things were around them and had stories about where they came from and how fortunate they were to be here! We became part of the family and even miss them now! Amanda who works the front desk, understands what the families are going through! She helped us manage her care and was there when we left! MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION! It's easy to do, just pick Signature! "

"I recently toured Winthrop Manor Nursing Home. I have toured many nursing homes over the years, and this one is highest on my list in terms of quality. The nursing staff was abundant and professional. It was also the cleanest and sweetest smelling Nursing Home I have ever toured. The patients looked clean and neatly dressed and all the interactions I saw between staff and patient were polite and professional and very patient and kind. I was also told that they were starting a new computerized oversight system to keep up with logging details. I am sorry to say I don't remember the name of the program or exactly what it does other than make the staff more self disciplined and accountable for accidents. If you tour the facility yourself you can find out more details about the new system. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone that has to face that difficult choice of where to place a parent or other loved one. It's definitely the top tier of Nursing Homes in our area. "

"Windsor House just opened in October 2015 so it’s a very new facility. It is beautiful. Everything was nice, and clean. The layout of the facilityis very nice. It is in a very great location. I was given a tour by the owner’s son who was very nice, and very knowledgeable. I met the administrator who has 17 years of experience; so, she is very knowledgeable in this field. Everybody I met was nice, and they seem to be enjoying their work. "

"I am very well pleased with Fifth Avenue Health Care, and with everybody. They all seem to go out of their way to help you and make you comfortable. If you need anything (I'm on three liters of oxygen), all I have to do is say, "I'm out of oxygen," and they come running. I was just really, really weak when I got here. I could not even get on a bed by myself. Now I can get on my bed and off to my wheelchair. The people giving me therapy are wonderful. The dietitian is also wonderful. She comes in and asks me if I feel like I can eat. Everybody is just really helpful and caring. I cannot say enough for this facility, because it is a wonderful place. They serve us very good food three times a day. Of course, everybody's taste is different, but from end of January until the end of February all I could eat was mashed potatoes. Then I got to where I could eat oatmeal. We all congregate in the dining room. They even feed some patients in their bed, to where everybody feels a part of the community here. Of course the weather has not been to where I can go outside yet or anything, but they have bingo on Monday mornings usually, and they have devotions, musical groups come in, and different entertainers come in from Cartersville. They came in for Valentine's Day. They provide entertainment that keeps people satisfied and happy. If I don't feel like coming to the dining room or if I'm tired, they come get me and they push me. I'm just so thankful because the nurses and everybody are really caring here. This place is clean and I'm a clean freak. Everybody works together trying to help the patients. They're always attentive and take care of us. I'm really pleased with them. Whenever you press the emergency light, they are here."

"At the moment, my friend is at Wildwood Health Care. They have done a great job. I'm very pleased with them. The room is large and clean, but they are four people to a room, so it's pretty crowded. That's my only complaint about it. Nevertheless, everybody has been wonderful, and they seem to take good care of my friend. She also has no complaints about the food. They have some activities, but I don't think she has participated in anything just because of her condition right now. She is pleased with therapy, and she seems to be improving. The staff is caring, helpful, and pleasant."
