Canton Nursing Center has good ratings and good reviews, so we chose that for my dad. So far, so good. They've all been very helpful and very attentive. They take good care of my father. They keep me informed of what's going on, and I can come in and visit with him. It's worked out all the way around. My dad seems happy there, and they keep him active. We had issues with the weekend staff at the beginning, but we talked to the weekday staff; they took care of it, which was great. They kind of dropped the ball a little bit in terms of their administrative duties. I don't know if they're just short on staff in that area. I've had to initiate everything as opposed to them telling me what they need. So administratively they're a little lacking, but with the care for my father I have had no problems with (other than the one which was addressed immediately). Everyone we've worked with so far has been great. It's a nursing home, so it smells like a nursing home. They seem to take pride in their facility. They keep it clean, and the residents are clean.
