"Ross Memorial Health Care Center would have been a very good place for my father, but they just didn't have a space for him. The facility is nice and clean. The rooms were big and the residents seemed content. "

"The outside of the building is very nice. There are many parking spaces very close to the entrance. The scene is very nice and very relaxing. It seems to be a place any one would be happy to call home. The staff seems to be very nice and welcoming. There is a code that must be entered to exit the facility so it seems very safe. The tenants will not be able to leave without an employee letting them out of the building. There are no bad smelling aromas on the inside so it appears to be kept up and cleaned often. The mail room is up close so the tenants would not have to travel far to get their mail. There is a sign in for all visitors. Also, the facility is easy to get to. There is an exit right off the highway (South Cobb Dr) that leads you straight to it. There are places in the area for the tenants to visit such as parks and grocery stores if their loved ones want to come and take them out for the day. "

"My mother was at Austell for three months during Covid 19 pandemic. My mother was very happy with her care during the time she was their. She voiced the staff was very nice and attentive. If she had to be placed at facility, Austell would be my first and only choice. "

"In April 2017, both my parents were transferred to PV Health Center from sub-acute rehab in Marietta after a lengthy stay in acute care hospitals, she recovering from renal failure and he from sepsis. The level of nursing care and physical/occupational therapies were an immediate improvement for both parents upon arrival. After 5 months of medication adjustments, nutritional support, intermittent therapies and a high level of nursing care, both parents are in much better health than I thought possible. "The staff was very friendly and quiet helpful during my visitation. i was able to learn a lot during my visit. The home stay clients are also friendly. Though i was able to enjoy working and visiting, most of the clients were not so friendly and some were mean. some didn't enjoy eating their meals while some enjoyed. some didn't like taking showers, while others did. Working and visiting the older clients really helped me to view and learn things a new way and got to understand the environment of the nursing home facility.While visiting, i was able to see pictures of the clients from when they were younger and they were all very beautiful and handsome young woman and man just like me. And while looking at the pictures, i felt very happy and emotional at the same time because it was the first time i was able to experience such a touching feeling from my work and visiting experience to the nursing home facility. "I was a patient at ManorCare after my bilateral knee replacement surgery following a week in the hospital. Initially I was put in a semi private room but after requesting a private room I was in one within an hour. The room was very nice and had a nice big window and a refrigerator. the bed was very comfortable. I received excellent care during my two weeks of rehab and nursing care. The staff was very caring, especially my nurses and patient care tech. I got physical and occupational therapy 2-3 times daily. The physical therapists who worked with me were very professional and outstanding. However, the facility could use more nursing staff. The food is "unremarkable" but the facility is located in East Cobb and there are many fast food places and restaurants close by. My wife made sure I had plenty of good food. If I had concerns, the director of nursing was available to address them. I came into the facility on a stretcher and walked out with a cane. Many thanks to everyone who helped me during my stay. "

"The staff at Golden Living were attentive to the residents. Families assisted with many of the normal day to day care such as laundry, personal items, and outside meals or snacks. The actual building was older and a little outdated with regard to elevators and rooms. The rooms were small and difficult to manouver around when there were large hospital beds in the rooms. The staff at times did seem to have difficulty with patients who were bedridden or suffered from memory loss. These patients were at times found wandering the halls without assistance. My mother was looked after with great care but she did not require must assistance since she was only there for after surgery rehab. The permanent residents really seemed to enjoy their rooms and the accommodations. The facility was clean and the staff was readily available if any patients needed medication or assistance to the bathroom. "

"I liked Woodstock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. It was a nice clean place with two to three patients per room. The staff were friendly. I was trying to get my father in there but they didn't have a room for him. "

"I was at Nursecare for recovery after hip surgery. I can honestly say that I received great care there. My therapy was excellent. Staff was very nice and friendly. I plan to have another surgery next year, and this is where I plan to go afterwards."

"My mother was in PruittHealth - West Atlanta. I never really experienced nursing homes. I don't know the gist of it, but it was pretty decent all in all. She liked the service that she received. I liked the place, but I felt like it should have been a little more updated. It was clean, but it was old-fashioned, like not modern at all. The service was good. They took care of her. They kept me updated as far as if anything changed or anything I needed to know. The staff was nice and friendly. They checked on her. They weren't disrespectful or anything like that. The food was cold. It was never hot. If the food was hot, it would have been good. They had a courtyard patio. They had a garden on the front side."

"My mom is at Roswell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, and it's been good. She has some behaviors that create some issues, but she likes being there. She says the nurses are nice to her. They take good care of her, and she has 24-hour nursing care. She's happy with all of them and that's what matters. It's a nursing home and an older place. It could use some updates, but it's okay. Where she's at, there's no dining area. They usually just use their rooms. They have the rolling trays to put their food down. I've been there for so many of the meals, and they are hot and looked balanced and good. She also gets desserts. Sometimes she doesn't eat that much, so they give her Ensure every day. They've all been nice. If she's having behaviors, they sometimes let her call some of us. They have our numbers and they'll let her call to see us because it helps calm her down. If anything happens, they'll call and tell us what's going on. So, they've been good. When we get there, we usually try to find out how she's been the past few days. If they've had problems with her, they'll let us know, and if she's been good, they also let us know. We're glad of that. I think they should update the furniture and update and paint."
