Signature did an excellent job of caring for my mother after her hospital stay. The PT, OT, and speech therapist were caring, encouraging and patient with Mom.. Erica was very hands on with the administrative aspect and the movement between facilities was seamless. Mom received excellent care, meals and attention. Thank you for caring!

1. Did didn’t fulfill obligation to communicate fully with insurance company in order to renew care at facility. My relative was made to wait for three weeks during an appeals process during which the facility decided to stop her physical therapy, which set her recovery back greatly. This is still an ongoing issue as being immovable is causing problems in getting certain care . 2. When reviewing the paperwork the facility had stated that they had goals for my relative for a couple of months to be able to stand, and do more things on her own however, they were very quick to ensure she was discharged from the facility. 3. They also would not return a wheelchair that was her personal custom chair. The chair was brought back to the facility by mistake after they transported her home and when confronted, they denied having the chair and it wasn’t until the local police department was involved did they return a chair to her? It wasn’t her original chair, but it was a chair that was comfortable to the one that she owns. They also do not communicate with family members. They did not communicate with my relative instead of speaking to my relative when they did communicate, they called, her mother and sister, and did not speak with her, even though she was perfectly capable and understood all conversation .

Rooms are disgusting. Staff has giant chips on their shoulders. Phone lines are constantly busy. Staff ignores all doctors appointment and procedure set up by family. Communication is impossible with staff. They will send loved one to ER without permission. Business office is not timely, social worker does not follow up.

This was a challenging time for us! Abdominal blockage and a week in ICU, 10 days on "the floor" for rehab and recoup! Kennestone was great, setting the bar extremely high! We were given our release date and the struggle begins! We visited 4 facilities and it came down to Signature on Tower Road! THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART FOR ANYONE READING THIS!! You want to do the best you can and you want to be wise! We met Shanon when we walked in, just showed up on a unscheduled visit, and she was great! Asked who we were and had us sign in and then showed us the facility! All of it! Answered all our questions and 2 days later we arrived in room 118B! From the time we walked in, to the last time we walked out, my mother received everything that she needed and wanted! Erica walked us through the paper work and her soulful demeanor relaxed our aniexty! Daloris was our first and last nurse, just plain awesome! CC was our care giver and we thought she never left the building! She would always show up and take care of my mom! They care about their jobs and they care about their patients! Long or short term, we met 1/2 of the residents! They all talked about how good things were around them and had stories about where they came from and how fortunate they were to be here! We became part of the family and even miss them now! Amanda who works the front desk, understands what the families are going through! She helped us manage her care and was there when we left! MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION! It's easy to do, just pick Signature!

My wife stayed at Signature HealthCARE at Tower Road for rehab. The rooms are fair. The staff does their job, but they don't do anything else. The interaction with the patient and the family was not very good. They don't interact with the patient or the family members very well, keeping them updated on what's going on and answering questions for them. It was not well managed. The food was OK.

My husband Clyde was transferred to this rehab after a week in hospital. When he left the hosp he was coherent and able to carry on a conversion with other people. In the 3 weeks of his time he became incoherent and lost a great amount of weight. To make matters worse we couldn't visit because of covid constrictions we were not allowed to visit him and then they had a resident covid hence more restrictions. When we did get to see him we were appalled to see the weight he had lost and that he was so incoherent. My husband was a type one diabetic and had heart problems. He was in this rehab to get back on his feet. What he got was a death sentence During this time I was unable to reach a nurse to get an update on his condition. I would leave messages and not get a returned call. They sent him home with no instructions as to what meds he had been given that day or what his blood sugar was. I found out that he was sent home with a blood sugar of over 600! He was back in the hosp the next day when we discovered he couldn't swallow. He died a week later. Please don't send a loved one to this rehab.

My mother is at Signature HealthCARE at Tower Road for long-term care. It's nice. The customer service is great. It's very clean. We don't seem to have any issues as of today. They're very prompt. Everyone is very nice. She's in a shared room. She went there for rehabilitation and they found out that she needed to be there for long-term care. They're doing memory care as well because she has dementia, so every day she has to do little quizzes and puzzles for memory. They have a small courtyard and a lounge area. They've done what they could with my mother.

Oh my gosh the rudeness of the staff and the UNDER staffed situation is out of control. I have called the “nurses” station multiple times in the past 24 hours and rarely have I been able to reach a person most of the time. The phone just rings and rings. I understand it’s the weekend however to be told by staff that they have ONE lone tech for 18 patients is unacceptable. She said they are understaffed - WHAT!!! Why take on new patients if you cannot adequately and appropriately provide care for the ones you have in house now. My Dad has laid in his own waste after having a bowel movement for 30 minutes without being able to reach a single person to acknowledge him. I am out of state and truly find this deeply concerning.

My elderly mother was admitted with a fractured hip. After 3 weeks they had her much improved. I want to thank the dedicated staff for all the caring time and attention they gave. They also had many professionals from nurses, occupational therapist etc helping her. I visited daily and the facility was always clean and well run.

My father became a resident at the Tower Road facility in February 2020, right before everything was shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was very hard for our family not to be able to see or visit Dad in-person due to the Covid restrictions, but we have been extremely fortunate and grateful that the current activities director (Tyler) has been very accessible and responsive to us - even giving us his personal cell phone number - so that we always feel connected and informed regarding Dad's care. Tyler has made it possible for us to have weekly Zoom calls with Dad, so that we can see him and rest assured that he is healthy and happy. Tyler has really gotten to know Dad personally, and always makes sure that the Georgia Bulldogs/Braves games and golf tournaments are on Dad's tv. We have been very lucky to have such a kind, helpful, and responsive contact at Tower Road during this extraordinarily difficult time for our family. Thank you, Tyler, for all that you for our Dad/Granddaddy and for our family!

Well.. I wish I could put a 0 out of 5 stars, but sadly this platform does not give me that option! I would NEVER EVER recommend this place even if it was the only option left. I want to start off by saying when my mother-in-law and I went to go pick up her mother from this place.. we already saw red flags.. from the moment we stepped in the waiting area.. The staff did not have shoes or a jacket on my grandma-in-law and keep in mind that it is winter time (50 degrees or less outside) and she is an elderly woman that just got over COVID19.. Soon after bringing that to the staff's attention an administrator by the name of Loretta, rudely approached my mother-in-law and I to inform us that they lost my grandma-in-law's $700+ velvet jacket. (they also lost other items that we realized were missing once we got home). This seemed to be "no big deal" to Ms. Loretta. So after about an hour of waiting for my grandma-in-law to be discharged.. a staff member FINALLY brought her to the car (with no shoes and a very light blanket).. The staff member did not assist my mother-in-law and i with helping my grandma-in-law get in the car.. After that whole crazy situation and once we finally got home.. we shockingly realized... that my grandma-in-law still had her IV in her arm.. My mother-in-law immediately called up to the facility to reach someone on the emergency line..she got no one to answer.. so that brings us to this morning... Where we have been placed on hold.. told someone would call us back.. surprise surprise.. no one has helped us or took the fact that an elderly lady was discharged with a WHOLE NEEDLE in her arm... This place should be ashamed of themselves and I can assure you.. our family will take what has happened at this facility to the highest power because this situation is wrong on EVERY level and I am still in shock! Please.. if you care about your elderly family members DO NOT SEND THEM HERE!

My mother is a current resident in this facility and she has lost 100 pounds since being there. The food is awful. She had been sick for over two weeks and I constantly told them to take her to the hospital which they initially refused to do. Finally after demanding they take her, turns out she had a infection that required antibiotics and her to be isolated. They have misplaced all of her clothes and her prosthetic leg. They even lost her personal bible. The food is terrible. Talking to them is like talking to a brick wall they do not want hear it and they definitely don't wont to fix a problem. I am trying desperately to get her out of this place before they kill her, because their attitude is not to help and focus on the elderly. They want to do the bare minimum and get by. You can't do this kind of job with a heart like that.

My cousins had their mother at Signature and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. From the Director to the Lead Nurse on the East Wing, she found services to sub standard. Their mom developed ulcers while in their care and nothing seemed to get done until they met collectively and demanded changes. I would seriously think about placing any loved one under their care because nothing is truly what it seems.

My 86 year old father was placed at Tower Rd location. I visited the facility first just to make sure it was clean and a healthy place for him to stay. From a cleanliness stay point the facility is clean. The care I was expecting however simply was not there. Dad fall 3 times getting up to use the restroom. Each time he was taken to the ER to be evaluated and then sent back to the facility. His face is a mass of bruises from the falls. Please understand he was placed at Signature to recover, receive physical therapy with the goal of coming home. Perhaps this is a bit of a reach on my part or my expectations are unrealistic but He was there because he needed the help walking and getting up. What happened is he was put in a bed and told that if he needed to go to the bathroom to simply use his diaper. There was zero effort from the nursing staff to help dad. My dad is retired military, a survivor and an a escapee from Hanoi Hilton, and received Bronze Star and Silver Star while in Vietnam. He is not going to defecate on himself and he is not going to sit in it for an undetermined time period until someone decides to change him. Farther more I told the facility this information before he was admitted. Farther more I was contacted when he fall for the 3rd time and was told it was his fault for getting out of bed. In my mind the reason he was there was to have the care and attention available 24 hrs. Being fair they said he was not using the call button. I am quite confident he used the button when he first got there as I remember seeing him use it; however, the response time was slow or there was not a response. At some point he simply stopped using the button. After the 3rd fall they moved him into a room closer to the nurses station. They did not familiarize him with the new room at all. In this room neither he or myself could find the call button. As it turns out it was located at the foot of the bed behind the curtain where it was impossible for him to reach. If you are looking for a facility where the staff is engaged and eager to help the patient, Signature is not for you. If you are looking for a simple warehouse with a bed then Signature is the right place for your loved one. In the end I pull my dad out of this of this facility. I wanted more than a bed and diaper for my dad.

I was a patient at Signature on Tower Road in Marietta, GA for the month of January 2019. I had suffered a heart attack the day after Christmas, sent to the hospital and from there to Signature. The care was excellent, all the staff caring and courteous. I was also still recovering from a hip replacement earlier in 2018, so I received excellent rehab services from Brandon and Larry in the Rehab Faciility. I also have a granddaughter, Emmie (Beth), who is a PTA there.

I was completely immobile, when I was transported to this facility from the hospital. The caring and professional staff, including physical and occupational therapy, nursing, physicians helped me to be mobile enough to leave the facility and have outpatient physical therapy. I also required medical and nursing care for recurrent infections and this care also was excellent. I would highly recommend Signature Health Care at Tower Road in Georgia for skilled nursing and physical rehabilitation.

Signature Healthcare at Tower Road was clean, but I was not too impressed with the staff. They were not too caring. The social worker -- Dawn -- was good but they just did not come across as a very caring facility.

The Tower Road is across the street from the hospital and my father was taken there for rehab. It's your average rehab facility. There are quite a few nurses and CNAs who are very kind. The grounds are kept pretty good. They do have quite a few activities, and my dad does some of them. They should improve on the follow through from the staff to the doctors.

Overall it is a really nice place. I will admit that the appearance wasn't so nice at first, but they did some remodeling and it looks amazing now. The staff is very nice and helpful for the most part, they do give you the information that you need. They have very nice landscaping and a nice little garden for the residents. They have a very nice and large dining room for the residents to eat, but I believe they also have the option to have meals in their rooms for those who may not be to get to the dining room or who may be a little under the weather. They have different events for the residents to celebrate holidays and sometimes there are events just to celebrate. They keep a very lively environment for the residents. They also have different places for them to just hang out and relax. It is a very nice place that I would recommend to people who are looking for a nursing home, for themselves or a relative.
