"My father is in Jonesboro because they have a rehab facility, and he has just transitioned to the assisted living. Everything is fine. I like the room setting which is like a studio apartment. I sit and eat with him, and the food is great. They have all kinds of activities like bingo. They have someone who comes in for religious services. It is a full-service facility that is clean and well kept. "

"My mom is now at Ansley Park. Her stay there has been covered by Medicare. It's fine. It's always clean, it smells nice, and it is maintained nicely. The room is nice and adequate. I have no problem interacting with the staff; i.e., discussing what's going on with my mom and with any changes. However, I wish that they would have someone at the nurses station more often. When my mom went in, she was bedbound, so she doesn't really have the capability to participate in the activities."

"I am a long time resident of this facility. They have taken very good care of us during the virus, making sure we are safe. Staff are friendly and caring. They help me talk to my family that I can't see because of the virus. "

"The rooms at PruittHealth of Fairburn were bigger and cleaner with newer furnishings. It was also quiet. The hallways were not cluttered with wheelchairs or hoist lift. It was very well maintained. We saw physical therapy, and we're quite impressed. We're still interested in getting my dad over to this place. PruittHealth of Fairburn was more controlled as far as the people. They're more controlled rather than having people screaming all the time, which is done at the other facility. It seemed like they have their patients under control. We saw the physical therapy room, which was awesome. It had more machines than any other place I had ever seen as far as balancing and other machines for stroke victims. They also had a greater turn-around for stroke victims. The staff members were very kind and concerned about my father. They just couldn't do anything because there was no bed. They were very caring."

"We visited Brightmoor. The rooms were clean, not worn out, and well-cared for. There were 2 people to a room. The buildings were clean and well-kept; there were not a lot of grounds, but it was well-kept. There were plants and flowers in places, and they were pretty. The staff was nice, informative, and interested in her job."

"I didn't want to put my mama in any facility but it came to a point where I had to. Since day one these people have treated my mama like family. She loves them so much and they are so good to her. I know she's in the best place for her. The staff and management are amazing!"

"My mom is a resident of Brightmoor Nursing Center. I chose this place because of the cleanliness and the people. I spoke to one of the owners. From what I've seen, they do not use temporary help, everybody there is employed. It's a much better environment than where she was previously. Here in Brightmoor, they kept the food heated. The big rolling container keeps it heated, so, when the patients get the food, it's warm."

"I was a patient at Laurel Park for 3 months. During that time I was receiving therapy due to hip surgery. The staff took great care of me. The meals were good and I had options of what I could eat daily for each meal. The therapy staff got me back on my feet and home again. Great place!"

"My aunt is at the Fulton Center for Rehabilitation. Everyone seems nice and attentive to their needs. They have a nice one-story building with residents of different ages. It's clean, and they have people giving therapy and making sure that the patients' needs are met. She's being fed by the nurses. They have a rehabilitation area and a nice big dining area."

"Bonterra Nursing Center is very clean, and well kept up. They've been very nice and helpful. They are really on top of his personal care and medication. He has a room he shares with another guy but it's very spacious, very clean and well kept. The staff seemed to be pretty good. They get in touch with the family. "My mother is in rehab at Crestview Health & Rehabilitation Center. We are familiar with the staff because she has been there once before, so she was quite pleased to be able to get back into Crestview. The staff has sort of been accommodating as best they can since she has a cell phone, and I've been able to communicate with her through that, and they've assisted in that communications with her. She seems to be very pleased with the staff and the support and help that she's gotten in the rehabilitation. We were pleased with the room. She does have a roommate, and she seemed to be pleased with that."

"My mom has been in Avalon Health for three weeks now. The place was bright, welcoming and they've done some renovations. I haven't tried eating there but she's been eating pretty well and it looks like it was good. They have different in-house activities like Bingo and people come in to play music. The staff is great. They seem very confident and very friendly. She's got plenty of room and the whole place is very clean. "

"There is one immediate drawback to this place: It's located in a high crime and drug use area; there's a liquor store at the bottom of the hill to one side"”and housing projects to the other. But when you get closer to the facility, it looks like a cute brick house with rockers on the porch and flowering trees outside. Inside on the left are offices; on the right is a sitting room with a big screen TV and good furniture. There are centralized nurses' stations for the 69 beds here"”with only one or two private rooms. There is very little choice about what to eat. And residents don't seem to be taken outside the building for activities much. But on the plus side, it is very clean"”there are rarely odors. There is low staff turnover; the administrator, who is an RN, has been there at least 10 years. And the activities director, who has also been there a long time, is awesome"”always thinking about fun and engaging things to do. The quality of care is great"”there are RNs and LPNs, and even a nurse specifically dedicated to wound care; because there are few beds, they put more time in with residents than at many other facilities. And the administrator takes the time and effort to come out of her office often and monitor the patients. "
