"I toured Oaks at Douglasville. It was very clean, and the inside was all open. They had individual rooms where no one shared rooms. They had their private suite, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette. The dining area was like a restaurant. You can choose what you want to eat that day from the menu."

"The Harmony at Douglasville is very pretty and very organized. There are a lot of things to do, and all the employees seem to be great and helpful. I have not tried the food but the menu looks awesome. They have good choices and it's all cooked by a chef. We toured their assisted living and the studio we looked at has a small fridge and a microwave."

"Laties Personal Care was decent, but it had shared bathrooms, and we want to have a private bathroom. The price was comparable to others. "

"We toured Grace Senior Living. I think we may be going there if the room is still available. It was smaller. It was all on one level. Personally, I think my relatives would be more comfortable there. Everything looked fine. I met a nice couple who lived there and talked to them briefly. They showed me their apartment, and it looked nice. The residents seemed engaged in different activities. The staff members that I interacted with were all nice, too. They have a smaller library and a nice courtyard. They didn't have as many amenities as the one that I looked at."

"If I have a loved one here, I would be comfortable with it. It was good because no one was wandering around by themselves. They have an activity room, but I didn't see anyone in there alone. There was somebody there with the people who were trying to involve themselves in physical activities. I thought that was good and safe. The staff seemed to care and they spoke in friendly and nice tones. We also went to a movie theater. They seemed to have a variety of plans that people can involve themselves in. The place was clean. The people were pleasant and smiled at us, which was important."

"Governor's Glen was very nice. The place was beautiful. If all goes well, this would probably be my first choice because I liked the facility. They had exercises and quite a bit of activities for the patients, and I thought that was very nice because that is what my sister needs. I liked the way it was setup. It was clean. "

"My wife went over to Monarch House for a short term; it was just 30 days. I would give it an A+. It's a small enough place. They have a lot of activities. They had pretty good staffing, and they provided all the services that we needed. It's better than a lot of other facilities I've looked at. They had lots of fresh flowers. They were decorated very nicely. It wasn't overly crowded. They maintained it well. Everybody seemed to work really hard to keep everything looking good and to make sure everybody had good care. There were exercise activities. There were 4-5 activities a day that my wife attended for a while. The value for money was excellent. I couldn't ask for more. It's worth at least looking into it and comparing it with other places in the area."

"We have friends that have moved into The Claiborne at Newnan Lakes. We have gone to their functions there and looked at it. It looked like they had excellent meals, and they had a caring staff. They have a lot of activities, and they're close to a lot of medical care, which is important as we age. They're 5 minutes from the hospital, so if there's any emergency, that's important. They had an open house. They had a barbecue, and they had some entertainment and things. We met our friends that we've known for years that moved in there, and they were really pleased with it. It's a relatively new facility. Everything is bright and sparkling new and it's easy to get to for people visiting. They've had speakers come in and people talking about memory care. They were really helpful to show what they may offer in the future should we need that. That's good that they offer those things in advance of having to make those decisions. Everything is well maintained, everything is very new, and the staff seems very helpful. The activities seemed reasonable. "

"Benton House of Newnan was very nicely laid out and very clean. The staff was very good, and the person during the tour was very nice, and very informative. They have a beauty parlor and an activities calendar. It's a beautiful property overlooking a very peaceful lake, with very nice outdoor spaces for people who want to sit on the porch. It's lovely."

"My father will be moving in. It's very family oriented. It's clean, and it was just very good. The staff during the tour did an excellent job. We chose a private room, and it has a closet and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. There were a lot of people as you walk in. To the left is a game room area. The residents were all sitting around, and there were multiple wheelchairs in there. They were playing some game at one point. It was nice to see them out. There is a barber beauty shop and a front porch with rocking chairs, but no courtyard."
