They go to all kinds of field trips, games, get together parties, bus trips to doctors and shopping. Everybody was so friendly and spoke highly of the place. It was really a nice. Everybody was warm. "My dad was in the hospital and was apprehensive about going to sssisted living. Administrator Sherry went above and beyond to help me with my dad. She visited him at the hospital and helped him feel welcomed and accepted to the facility as a resident (not patient) and assured him he would enjoy living there. Hes been there for over a month and loves it. Both Sherry and the staff have been so good to him. He never wants to leave."

"Silver Comet Village was newer. Although it was smaller, it was nice and clean. Each one of the apartments has a washer and dryer in the unit. Plus, they offer two meals. The employees were nice, had all the information we needed, and answered all the questions."

"I live here. It's very nice, and I'm very satisfied. The sales manager's been really helpful, and the staff is just wonderful to me, and I have no complaints whatsoever. I got a 2-bedroom 2-bath facility. The food is very good, and they have a great chef. They have numerous activities and trips to different restaurants, Bingo, exercise, and a multitude of activities for the people. I have not seen anybody who has been unhappy living here."

"We have chosen The Reserve at Peachtree City. I have been there several times actually. It is for assisted living and memory care because I have one parent for each. They were wonderful. The staff was excellent. I had no problems whatsoever with anything that they explained to us. My parents haven't moved there yet, but the rooms were more than adequate. For their age and living level, they were more than adequate. The living atmosphere was terrific there. The community layout was excellent. I was very impressed with the place. I have not eaten there, but I have been there twice during meal times. The food looked better than most of those residents were getting at home. It looked home cooked. I was there for lunch yesterday, and the dining room was packed. Everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves. The dining area was open, airy, bright, and cheerful, even on the dreary day. In fact, that's one of the things I liked about that entire facility. It was a very open facility, very airy, and light. It did not feel boxed in or closed at all, which I really liked specifically because my parents are coming from Florida. I did tour the memory care, and it was more than adequate for my mother. My father is stone deaf. He is not going to be participating in anything that requires any hearing whatsoever. As far as like bingo and things like that, he's not going to be participating in that. There were plenty of great amenities. They had a salon. They had a library. They had puzzles and movies. They had plenty to offer."

"I was already familiar with Summerset Assisted Living before I toured it, because someone else had been there that I was very close to. I knew that I liked their facility. This time, I got a chance to speak with them. They showed me some of the rooms that were empty. The residents were eating at lunchtime. I saw the activity areas, and they were all nice. I toured the memory care area of the place. The activity room was clean and inviting. There were no activities going on, but it seemed like it would be a great place to do something. They said they do artwork, singing, and bingo. The person who gave the tour was very friendly, polite, and resourceful. He was interested in having my family member as a resident. It's also homey. There's a place where they watch TV and gather to talk. There are places to eat outside of the dining area, if you have family members visiting you. They're beautifully decorated."

"We almost had my dad move in here until he fell and now has to heal up and have rehabilitation. It's a nice place for the cost being lower than other similar places in the area. I was not expecting it to be so nice. Friendly folks working there too seem to know what they're doing."

"We visited the Angels PCH LLC in Riverdale. We went on a tour of their memory care for my mom. Of all the places that we saw, I was most impressed with the person who greeted us here. She sat us down, and we had a very good conversation. She explained a lot of things that I was not aware of. She gave me advice about personal care homes that I was not aware of. I think at the time that we went, the clients were out at a day facility, so they were not there. The spaces that we viewed, though, were very appropriate. The rooms were double with two people in each room. We were a little bit concerned about that, but they were large and spacious rooms. We were concerned about it because our mom is just used to being in a room by herself. Based on what we saw, though, everything was very adequate. We were told that they keep the clients engaged throughout the day, and the ones that can go in and who choose to go, they go to a day facility for activities, so we were very pleased about that."

"I visited Woodland Ridge Assisted Living & Memory Care. They offer hair appointments, there's a cafeteria, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there are common areas for sitting. There are planned activities, and they have bingo. They also have a bus that runs a schedule that will take you to the grocery store and things like that. They offer laundry services for a separate fee. I was completely fine with that facility. It was my mother that didn't want to move. The staff was very informative and friendly. I saw them interact with the residents. We did talk to a couple of the residents who said that the food was very good, and we were able to view the menu of what they were having daily. The residents are required to go to the cafeteria to eat. They're not allowed to bring the food from the cafeteria to the rooms. I saw three rooms for a single person category. They were all very well-maintained, clean, and very nice rooms. You could see the view from inside the building. Some of the apartments overlooked the common sitting area. It had benches and nice landscaping. It was a clean facility. It had live-in support, a small dog that the residents all interacted with. You could tell they all knew and loved the dog."

"We had a tour of the Birches at Villa Rica and it was good. The facilities were also nice and the staff members seemed like nice people. We saw some of the units, they were OK, they had some artwork, and I liked the way they were put together. The rooms were a little small, but nice. The person who gave the tour was nice, everything was clean, and the place looked nice."

"We have selected Carrollton Manor for my uncle. They have two different sections. There's a nursing home side and assisted living side. My uncle is actually on the assisted living side, which is called Autumn Square. Everything that we've seen so far has been nice, and we approved all of it. It's a nice place to be. The room looks like a hospital room, but yet they have it where you can personalize it for yourself with any of your home furnishings. You can bring in any pictures or things and personalize the room. The staff have been really nice, and they're taking good care of him. If I don't go over there, I call them to see how he's doing. They're always glad to answer any questions that I have. When I do go there, they're all friendly and willing to help in any way they can. I have not tried the food. I did see his meal one day and it looked good, too. It was a balanced meal, but I haven't tried it. He says it's good because we've asked him."

"Our class took weekly trips to Grace Assisted Living in Bremen Georgia and each experience was extremely positive. The patients there all seemed to be in a generally good mood, and we got to know almost all of them throughout the semester so I got to see and hear many of them and their stories. We were usually there during their lunch times and the food didn't look too awful as we would have imagined it may be. The staff often brought in entertainment for them such as bingo games, people playing in small country playing bands and friendly small dogs to keep morale high. The patients sometimes got agitated with one another but with some of their conditions this was to be expected, and staff was monitoring them closely enough so that nothing got out of control. The cleanliness of rooms, hallways and the cafeteria was average to above average for such a place, as I'm sure things may get messy sometimes. Staff was also very friendly towards guests and patients, keeping a cheerful demeanor for at least as long as our visits lasted. The most memorable experience I had one visit was when one of the country music groups was playing on a small stage in the cafeteria, and the patient that I connected most with asked me to dance with her. The whole room of patients, staff and visitors were delighted and all clapped and cheered and even took a few pictures and videos that I have kept with me since. Any negativity that happened there was not connected to the facility or staff itself, only the sadness some patients had when relatives did not show up as often as they had wished. I would be happy to have someone I love stay there. "

"I visited this facility while looking for a place for my dad. It is a small place but filled with love and laughter. When I first walked in i was surprised to see many sitting watching tv and playing card games. There were so many activities going on i knew my dad would maybe not participate (he is hard of hearing and shy) but love to watch everything going on. The place was very clean and smelled really good.. The lady who runs it was very nice and spent a lot of time with me. She walked me around the facility and i spoke to many patients who was happy to te me how much they loved living there. I loved the outdoor activity area and knew my dad would spend most of his time outside. A really great place that i would love to put my dad there. "
