"Last January, I found myself looking for a residential placement for my dad after his in home care was no longer in his best interest. Autumn Breeze was one of the facilities that was recommended. Upon arrival, we were received warmly and within minutes we were able to do an on-site assessment of the facility and staff. This was impressive as often people try to get their house in order first to give a less than organic view of the day to day reality. I knew then that this was the place! My dad remains happy, the staff continues to be caring and most professional and always responsive to any questions that I may have. My focus is on "care" and nothing else. Kudos to the entire staff for your dedication and commitment to patients and families. I commend you for a job well done as you provide continuous "care" to all patients. Hats off to a great team of rock stars!"

"My mother was in PruittHealth - West Atlanta. I never really experienced nursing homes. I don't know the gist of it, but it was pretty decent all in all. She liked the service that she received. I liked the place, but I felt like it should have been a little more updated. It was clean, but it was old-fashioned, like not modern at all. The service was good. They took care of her. They kept me updated as far as if anything changed or anything I needed to know. The staff was nice and friendly. They checked on her. They weren't disrespectful or anything like that. The food was cold. It was never hot. If the food was hot, it would have been good. They had a courtyard patio. They had a garden on the front side."

"My neice was in A.G. Rhodes. It was a very structurally nice facility. Everything was pleasant and wonderful including the administrative staff and the facility itself. But I have reservations about their staff once you get to the second floor and third floor. They seemd to have limited training to understand that different patients have different needs; you cannot have a one fits all mentality. That was my only reservation when she was there. That made me uneasy because I had to be there all of the time to make sure things work according to her needs. For example: she has sensitive skin. She needed a microfiber towel to clean her, and they used a wash cloth, so developed a sore that was not taken care of. That’s one of the reasons why I took her home: to take care of the wound. She often used soft tissue to blow her noise; they didn’t do that. That’s the only problem I had there, but otherwise, everything else was perfect. They were very accommodating; however, her timing and their timing was not a fit at first, but after a while, they began to handle it well with her. The very first week, she was very ill and incapable of really picking up. I didn't have the opportunity to go down to the facility that time because she needed more sleep and there are more people. They wake up early in the morning to go down and do the exercises and she couldn’t. The facility itself and the staff were excellent in terms of therapy, but the schedule was not good for her. The food was excellent, and the care was OK. "

"This nursing home is wonderful. The staff consistently reach out to me to keep me informed about any issues with my Mom. She’s well taken care of, but not afraid to speak her mind. She raves about how good the nurses and CNA’s are to her! She has pet names for them and loves when they stop by just to check in on her ... even with their busy schedules of caring for so many on her unit. The staff encourages her, cares for her and it shows. I’ve never felt good about her being in a nursing home; I wanted to take care of her myself. But she is happy and they take better care of her than I ever could. There aren’t enough stars to give this Home. I love them!"

"I had both Hips replaced and my right femur replaced. I had great care. The rehabilitation department is Outstanding they work as a team, work you and push you hard. My dream was to walk on beach with grandkids I did this july. Especially thank you Rebecca for all your hard work ethics that paid off, your caring and support. Great support from everyone. I am having left knee removed and replaced again with ligaments. I will be coming back to Signature for Rebecca. Thank you Rehab, doctors, nurses, assistants and everyone I met. "This facility is one of the best looking nursing homes, the DON is young,smart, professional and on top of it. "

"This facility is very well staffed with well trained people. Additionally, there is a pleasantness that you feel from the time you enter the door and meet the security and staff manning the sign in desk that continues with staff throughout the facility! The staff is caring and friendly to the residents and to visitors. The building is well maintained and odor free. The residents are kept very clean as well. I am very pleased with the services being provided to my elderly parent!!"

"I toured Ross Memorial. It is an older nursing home, but I like it. I like that they had all these sitting areas for people. They had different rooms, and I like that. They did look like hospital rooms, but they did have different situations that you can choose from to fit your needs. They had like bedroom areas and a shared bathroom, but yet each room was separate from the other room. They also had pretty outdoor areas. The staff was very friendly and very busy. "

"My mom stayed at the Buckhead Center for Nursing and Healing for rehab. It's an older building, and they were remodeling it. The facility was under reconstruction, so the lobby and the rooms were being redone. The staff was excellent and attentive. They placed my mother with a resident who'd been there for a while, which was good because she kept an eye on her. There were a lot of people who were not regulars, like they would use temporary service, but I didn't have any issues with any of the staff. They were all very present, very accommodating, and when I had a request, they would accommodate me. For activities, they would take the residents to the common room, and for the ladies, they do nail painting. They would do games like Vision Board and Bingo. They play other games and watch game shows, as well. They also do movie nights. They kept them entertained. The dining area was the same area where the activities took place. If they're not there, people would be in their rooms, so it all depended on what was going on that day."

"Nursecare of Buckhead has been wonderful to my Mom. The rooms are perfect and comfortable - the staff is great. They are taking great care of my Mom. "

"The rooms at PruittHealth of Fairburn were bigger and cleaner with newer furnishings. It was also quiet. The hallways were not cluttered with wheelchairs or hoist lift. It was very well maintained. We saw physical therapy, and we're quite impressed. We're still interested in getting my dad over to this place. PruittHealth of Fairburn was more controlled as far as the people. They're more controlled rather than having people screaming all the time, which is done at the other facility. It seemed like they have their patients under control. We saw the physical therapy room, which was awesome. It had more machines than any other place I had ever seen as far as balancing and other machines for stroke victims. They also had a greater turn-around for stroke victims. The staff members were very kind and concerned about my father. They just couldn't do anything because there was no bed. They were very caring."

"My sister is in Reliable Health & Rehab in Atlanta. It is a rehabilitation and nursing center that is approved by Medicare. She has been there for over a month now. This place has people of all ages in it. It is a full service place where they have nurses on duty. They have different doctors come in, and they assign her to a primary care and to a nurse. She has a personal case worker. She has a measure of freedom that she did not have in the other facility. She can walk around and talk with people and socialize. They have church that comes in and have bible studies, and they have different activities. My sister is very active so she likes that better than being confined to one small area. She is used to a measure of freedom, and this place provides the security and freedom. "

"I called DN&R from another Rehab where my mom was mistreated. Steven of DN&R, assured me he would make sure to have her transferred that very day, seeing how my mom and I both were traumatized. And he did! The nurses at DN&R were so compassionate and competent, my mom and I both felt comforted and safe. This was in Jauary 2020. They treated my mom with respect, they thoroughly checked her out for her particular health issues and kept her clean. I cannot thank them enough for their care during this difficult stage if her life."

"My mom needed the care already and I can't do it. The waiting list in the other facility was too long so I opted for Westminster Commons. The staff were approachable, friendly and they took good care of her. She was in a shared room with two more residents but it was clean and spacious. They also had arts and crafts. My mother seemed happier there than in the previous facility. I would commend this place to others. "
