I suffered an injury. After treatment at a local hospital I was sent to Reliable for rehabilitation. My first impression of the facility was one of dread. Could not believe people were the residents of such an aesthetically disgusting facility. I was wheeled in through the rear of the building through the medical transport/laundry room/trash door. What a nasty, filthy, poorly maintained place. The foul odor of urine, feces and hell knows whatever slapped me in the face upon entering. My room was small, roach infested yes roaches and an electrical fire hazard. The TV was actually not a television, but a very small computer monitor. My roommate was a man with an advanced disease who eventually died soon after my arrival. Forget about any actual rehab taking place. The rehab room was actually a storage area for cleaning carts and prosthetics of residents who died and whose relatives allowed to facility to just keep. The “rehab” staff spent more time on their personal computers and discussing their next meals. During the length of my entire time there, I didn’t see one person leave to place after successful rehabilitation. Reliable is more suited for people with advanced walking dementia. They are all over the place. Walking and disturbing other residents. The staff here complain, whine, bitch and moan all day and night. Slow to respond to your needs. There are of course a few good ones there. The place is a nightmare. It is a place it appears people are sent who are just awaiting death shortly. I am surprised it is still licensed and allowed to operate. Please don’t send anyone you love to this place. Find another facility if you can. Good luck.

Although there are some nice people at the facility, I have found it difficult to get a few of the night shift nurses to do anything for my disabled husband. He has a track record of severe UTIs, and I have to beg them each time to do something when he starts having an infection. It's taken a week to get any help this time, and he is in such pain that we are asking to go to the emergency room and they say that doesn't need to be done even though he is begging for Help From Pain. Could not legitimately recommend this facility and in the process of trying to find somewhere else.

My sister is in Reliable Health & Rehab in Atlanta. It is a rehabilitation and nursing center that is approved by Medicare. She has been there for over a month now. This place has people of all ages in it. It is a full service place where they have nurses on duty. They have different doctors come in, and they assign her to a primary care and to a nurse. She has a personal case worker. She has a measure of freedom that she did not have in the other facility. She can walk around and talk with people and socialize. They have church that comes in and have bible studies, and they have different activities. My sister is very active so she likes that better than being confined to one small area. She is used to a measure of freedom, and this place provides the security and freedom.
