I recently toured Winthrop Manor Nursing Home. I have toured many nursing homes over the years, and this one is highest on my list in terms of quality. The nursing staff was abundant and professional. It was also the cleanest and sweetest smelling Nursing Home I have ever toured. The patients looked clean and neatly dressed and all the interactions I saw between staff and patient were polite and professional and very patient and kind. I was also told that they were starting a new computerized oversight system to keep up with logging details. I am sorry to say I don't remember the name of the program or exactly what it does other than make the staff more self disciplined and accountable for accidents. If you tour the facility yourself you can find out more details about the new system. I would highly recommend this nursing home to anyone that has to face that difficult choice of where to place a parent or other loved one. It's definitely the top tier of Nursing Homes in our area.

My mom caught COVID there from people being careless sent her to hospital then wouldn't let her come back this place is not what people thinks it is its not a 5 star place
