I visited Big Spring Village. The people were very pleasant, helpful, and friendly. The place was really clean and organized. The residents all seemed to be content and happy. I found out that one of my friends, with whom I go to church with, her mother was there. They have a beauty/barber shop in there. When we were waiting for the representative to come out, we were in a nice sitting area. They have group rooms for television, playing games, and stuff. They had a courtyard outside, and it was totally private and fenced in. Parking was easy. The person who gave the tour was excellent. It's a very nice facility. I've probably been by that place a few times, going to that area, and I would not have known that it was an assisted living memory care center because it's very homey.

I took my mom out of Big Springs Village. They were understaffed. There were a few activities. And they did not have bells in the rooms. So they were making changes, and they were upgrading the facility.
