My sister moved in. They're very attentive. They do everything for you. She likes that, as far as cleaning the room, emptying your trash daily, checking on you, and the option of administering the medications to her, which is the option I chose. That was another reason she needed to jump up from independent to assisted living. It's a clean environment, and there aren't that many residents there, which is good. She likes the food there, and that there are three meals a day. She has commented on the food being good. So that's a plus. The personnel have been very communicative with me. They have an activities director. They have a TV room, and that seems nice. They have lots of different sitting areas where the residents can gather and get to know each other. They do make assignments for where you can sit at meal times, which is encouraged to get to know other people rather than sitting by yourself. I think that is a plus. They encourage outings, and they have a van with a driver that takes them to certain places to eat and maybe shopping at Walmart or somewhere local. They have different services like a podiatrist and a nurse practitioner, and physicians, primary care physicians that can come in and see them in the facility rather than taking them somewhere to get exposed to things in a doctor's office. So that's a real perk for me and for my sister.

I was here for respite care. It was a very good experience. It was a very nice place and the staff tended to my every need. I had a nice room. It was big and had a view of the outdoors. The food was outstanding. If I wanted something special, they would fix it for me. They had church services, bingo, they brought in a dog for therapy that everyone petted, showed movies, and all kinds of stuff going on.

My second choice would have been here. The woman there (her name was Mona) was very helpful, very cooperative, very professional, answered a lot of our questions, and took us for a really good tour. I can't say anything bad about that place. In other words, if we couldn't get my mom in this other facility, I would have happily settled for here. The rooms are comfortable looking. They have an area where you can do some working out like for physical rehab. They have activities. They have arts and crafts, games, and movies. They have a little theater section set up in there with a big screen on the wall and chairs; it was very nice. They have a library with books and everything.

It was very clean. The staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and willing to help us in any way that they could. They had a hair salon and a movie theater. It was freshly remodeled, so it was nice. It's off to itself. There seems to be a lot of privacy around it.
