"I toured Towne Club Windermere. It was fine, but I just didn't feel it was the one that my husband and I would want. They were very nice and very friendly, and it was fine. It's just not what I was looking for. I was looking for something much bigger, and I was looking for a more balcony area, screen porch, and stuff like that. It didn't have any of that stuff to offer."

"I'm staying at Celebration Village Forsyth. Everyone was so nice, so friendly, and so welcoming and that was the thing that convinced me. It was a very beautiful place, and the atmosphere was so wonderful. They have crafts, exercises, Bible study, and swimming. They have a shuttle service that takes you everywhere as a group and an individual shuttle if I want to go somewhere by myself. It's all very convenient. My apartment is very nice. I have a big bedroom with two great big windows, a walk-in closet, a big bathroom, a full kitchen, and a large living room. The staff is wonderful. They've gone out of their way to make my move easy. I have a housekeeper who comes in once a week, changes my beds, puts clean sheets on it, and cleans the apartment. It's very clean. I'm very pleased."

"I've been here for two weeks now. I chose this place because of their staff and their food. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They just want to be of service to you. Food is outstanding! They offer very wide variety. It is absolutely good. My room is okay. Their dining room is absolutely spacious for the residents. Regarding activities, I do know they have exercises, bingo, games for individuals or groups, shopping trips, and lunch out if you want to do that. "

"We toured Manor Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care Ellijay and my dad liked it. The place was very nice. The dining area was nice looking and it looked comfortable. We got to see the menu for the week, and there were a lot of choices. My dad saw a lot of food that he liked. They told him about breakfast and he was excited about that. The rooms were large and spacious, with plenty of storage. The closet was a good size. We saw the activities area and they had a lot of activities planned. We spoke with one of the residents and he was very happy there."

"Our overall experience with Manor Lake Dawsonville has been good. My mom is in memory care and it's laid out very nicely and very well-decorated. The staff is very professional. The facilities are very nice and very clean."

"My mom was a resident of HearthSide Towne Lake. There is nothing that I can say negative about it. They were very, very good to her. It is just a nice place to live. They have activities for the seniors, and everyone that lives here enjoys it. The manager is fantastic. My mother didn't participate, she stayed to herself and did things with me. But I know that I have a little gym here and they were always having things for the people here. They have a small gym, a beauty salon, a library, and a media center. They do not provide meals; you do your own meals. They have a fantastic area where you can have parties with your family in the very front of the building. Of course, you have to do a reservation for it, but it's a nice area with a piano. The area down there is with granite countertops, and I would rate that as a 5."

"My in-laws have already made a decision for The Villas. I think the facility has only been around a couple of years. They have 3 levels of care: independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Facilities were beautiful. Great staff, well-designed rooms. They have lots of activities that they take people to, and their independent-living has not been finished yet. They're just starting to build that, and we got in their first unit. So they're going to have a lot more amenities once that is all built out. The food is pretty good. The rooms are great. Big closets, big bathrooms. They are very well designed compared to a lot of the places I saw. They have 1-bedrooms in assisted living and several different studios, and then in independent-living, they have 2-bedrooms. "

"I visited Northwoods Retirement Home, and we will be moving my father-in-law there. We chose it because they had a bed open and it was not very far from my house. It's a wonderful establishment. Everyone was very happy there, and we're very pleased with it. We drove by and with Covid rules, it's actually hard to get inside tours, but we were able to walk around on the outside and meet some of the residents outside. I was also able to see the room he was going to go into. The staff went above and beyond to answer all of my questions, they knew the residents by name, and you could tell that the residents come up to them all the time and that there was no hesitation. The facility seems old, but in a very good standing. For the facility's maintenance, you're always going to have some going on, but they do a good job at knowing what it is and getting it repaired."

"This place had many amenities, such as community rooms and laundry facilities. Often a bus would pick the residents up for shopping trips. There as a nurse available on call. It sounds very fancy, but I remember one of the reasons we liked it so much was because it accepted my grandmothers' "social security something or another" (I was young so my financial understanding wasn't that great) This was a major reason why my paternal grandmother also lived there for the latter part of her life. "

"I'm very happy with The Orchards of Stoney Point. I got a very large 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath, with a kitchen, a loft area, and a sun porch. The activities are excellent. I just picked up September's list and there are two or three things to do every day. The staff I've met has been delightful. You buy into it and it's no different than a house."

"My mother has moved into Manor Lake Cartersville. The people there have been so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very nice and spacious. I've tried their food and it's very good. For activities, they have outings, and creative activities like arts and crafts, and they show movies. There's a lot. They're busy doing something all the time. Cleanliness and maintenance are very good."
