"My mom was at Autumn Terrace. It seemed very nice. It was very homey. The food seemed nice. However, there were not a whole lot of people to look after my mother where she was. The place was very clean. In terms of amenities, they did the laundry, my mom can get her hair done, and they had Bible study. My mother had only been there for two days. There were only 15 people there, and there was only one person on staff. My mom did have things in her room to ring if she needed help, i.e., in the bedroom or in the bathroom. "

"The staff at Colonial Gardens of Warner are excellent. They are very congenial and nice to my parents. They are delighted to help them. The owner and the manager are exceptional people to deal with. Whatever they need is taken above and beyond. Their food is delicious. My parents enjoyed them. The rooms that they have is very nice. Before we moved in they had a new carpet and paint it new. They have activities for them to do. "

"I went non a tour of the facility. The staff was welcoming, professional and very helpful. The facility is clean, beautiful and the rooms were very conducive to an elderly person."

"We chose Lake Joy for my mother-in-law. I was very impressed. The people working there are very friendly and answer all your questions. The place is clean, there is no odor, and it's very nice. Her room is very spacious. The lunch we had was good, but it takes a long time to get it. They come to everybody's table and ask them what they want, but it's 40 to 45 minutes before you even see a plate come to the table. The food is great and if you have the time to wait, there's no problem. The waiting time could use some improvement. They ought to have a table for those who have appointments coming up in the morning and need breakfast right away. They had a wine night, and she has a paint session coming up, they have a hairdresser on-site, and she just walks in there, gets an appointment and it goes right onto her bill. It's perfect. The staff is very attentive."

"Summer's Landing was the nicest one we visited. They have all three levels of care there. They have cottages with very nice rooms. They have a hospital, too. We did not meet the staff when we were shown around. We did not interact with anyone except one person, but we thought the place was wonderful. It was all new. "

"Kingsford of Warner Robins is very nice and it's small. There are no more than 40 residents. My mom's really happy there. The staff is really caring and they genuinely like what they're doing. I've got nothing but great things to say about the place. They play card games and Bingo, and there's an outside group that comes in on a regular basis for exercise. She seems to really like what she's doing there. Her room is spacious. It's a one-bedroom apartment essentially. She loves the food. Everyone that I've met has been great. It's not brand new, but it's well-maintained. It's in a nice, quiet, peaceful area of town and it's very comfortable."

"We chose the Villa Rose for my aunt. She will move in this month. We liked it for the location and size. The staff was very helpful, answered all the questions, typical sales. The facility does not have a lot of bells and whistles, but it's clean. They have a basic cable, Wifi, they have a dining hall, and all the rooms are private. It's close to our home, that's why we liked it."

"The Oaks is overall a good quality facility for the elderly. The facility is not very large, but big enough to accommodate their needs. It is located in a great area in the country--so the residents can sit outside and have a good breath of fresh air and view the countryside. The staff was always very attentive to the residents. My great-grandmother was never neglected or mistreated by the staff. The rooms are on the smaller side but the bathrooms are plenty big for those who can't move around very easily and for the handicapped. The Oaks provides an ample amount of activities for the residents to participate in. They also have an on-going calendar of events where people come and entertain the residents. Whenever I went there to sing, many of the residents came out to listen and participated. They always seemed content and happy. My great-grandmother was there for about a year and then left to go live with her daughter because of extensive physical problems. But her stay there was enjoyable. "

"Willow creek is small, more personal and less of an institutional type feel. It's a house type setting with individual private rooms and they only have 20 to 23 residents. Everyone knows everybody and they accept Medicaid. The only issue we have and we're working on that right now is I don't think they have enough activities to keep the residents stimulated. It has a more homey feeling than others I've been in and the staff is very nice. I think my mom in law is comfortable there. They can improve by putting more safety measures like hand rails in the showers, more activities and food. "

"My mom is a former resident of Pinewood Retirement Villa. The care she received there is not what you would expect your parent to have. According to my mom, the food is terrible. They should improve on cleanliness. They need professional staff, activities for the residents, and medical care."

"I liked the ratio as far as staff to clients at Agape Personal Care Home. There's more personal or hands-on care. The activities were good also and that was the first thing I liked. They had bingo, birthday parties, game nights, and outings. They have three cooked meals a day, but they don't have a chef. The staff was very helpful, informative, and forthcoming with information."

"I live here and I love it. The staff is like my family, they take great care of me and do a great job cleaning my room. The food is delicious. I'm never bored! The rooms are large and it is the next best thing to being at home. "
