"Merryvale Assisted Living seemed really personable and they were informative with my questions. It's clean. It seemed to be a really nice place and the people living there liked it and said that they wouldn't go anywhere else. The price seems pretty fair."

"My grandparents were residents there back in 2007 to 2008. My grandfather was only there a short time before his passing but my grandmother was there until her death in July 2008. The staff and the facility are excellent in the care that is provided. The staff grew to be family. They were always compassionate and very professional when it came to dealing with my grandmother's needs. She so enjoyed playing bingo and the different activities that were provided. The staff went far beyond their duties. They were friends to the residents. I applaud them for everything they do and could not have asked for a better place for my grandparents to have lived their final days. "

"I toured Oaks at Conyers. I didn't go back into the living quarters because after I went to the office and spoke to the director, there was no need for me to go further. After all, I couldn't afford to leave my sister there. But, they were very friendly people. The residents who I saw seemed happy and they looked well-cared for. I like the place. I wish I could get my sister in there. The building was very nice. The only space I saw was the entrance where I went and it's a little bit of an enclosed area, and it was nice."

"Laties Personal Care was decent, but it had shared bathrooms, and we want to have a private bathroom. The price was comparable to others. "

"My mom moved into Allegiance Personal Care Memory Care. The owner is very attentive. She keeps us updated constantly. I feel that my mom is very safe and well cared for. The owner is absolutely wonderful. The staff members are caring and attentive. They have just gotten to know my mom so well, and I really appreciate their attention to her and keeping her safe. They are just doing a great job. They have very simple food, but I think it's appropriate for their age. The owner helped me get some supplements for my mom, and that has worked out really well. It is an older home, but it is perfectly clean. They had music therapy last week, where someone came in and did music with them. They have story time. They have activities."

"My mom will move into Carriage Crossing Mt. Zion. It was very pleasant. The people were very informative. It was clean, and everything was up to standards. The size of the room was good. The upkeep is very good. The dining area was very clean and sanitized, and it was up to par."

"This facility is beautiful and a lot better then described please take time to visit facility, I do know one thing if I EVER need a place to go to when its that time this is the place. Not only is the facility beautiful the staff is amazing and they are real and they treat you as family and not just a dollar sign. "The price of Autumn Village II assisted living is very, very, very comfortable for us. We like the atmosphere, and it's spacious. They're professional and down-to-earth. I like the fact that my dad was able to get this nice, nice room for the price, and he didn't have to share a room (when most of the other facilities would make you share a room or charge you extra for normal things). In this facility, everything is included. The staff is very professional, very knowledgeable, and very kind to my father. They're also very inviting and make you feel right at home. They have an activity room and an activity director. They go on outings twice a week. They have different game nights and different social gatherings that they do once a week. They have an area where you can get your hair done and an area where the residents can read. The community is really not that far and actually very convenient and close to the interstate, so it's in a good area. It's very near other facilities, so it's located in the right area."

"I toured Palm Shade Villa II. I was able to meet the owner and I was able to sit down and speak with her. She was a very pleasant lady and she seemed like a very caring person for the elderly. They had an individual room and everything was there. The facility was very clean, and the grounds were well-kept. There were quite a few vacant rooms, which tells me that there were not a lot of clients. There were only two residents that I was able to see. There was a library with books and stuff. If there was an emergency, they would call 911 and that's about it. In terms of doctor's appointments, we have to do that ourselves."

"The Woods was very nice. Everyone we talked to and ran into was excellent. They were friendly and very accommodating. I don't have any complaints whatsoever. They did everything they could to show us around and make us feel comfortable. The rooms were good, clean, and had nothing really wrong with them, except the kitchenette was quite small. The grounds were well-kept. We went in the back where there's a little, comfortable place where you could sit outside. From what I’ve seen, I would definitely recommend them. "

"My father has moved into Palm Shade Villa. I love them. They are great caretakers. They're really like family. The place is super nice, and the people that they have in there are nice. I just like it. They really take care of my dad and they've gone above and beyond. They do puzzles, they do songs, they play, and they do a lot of different things. He's not very active, but he tries to participate. He's enjoying the food because he wasn't eating that much at all, but now he is eating. They give him three meals a day and snacks twice a day. They said when he first came in, he wasn't eating that much, but now his appetite has picked up a little bit."

"We chose Mt. Carmel Personal Care Home, because it is owned by a doctor, who's a senior as well, and so he kind of has an idea of what the residents are going through. He's compassionate about them, and I like that. They have a staff that watches them 24/7. If one of the residents needs more care, they're able to provide it because it's not overcrowded. The staff seem to be passionate about the seniors. Some of the activities they do helps keep their minds active. I like that they get them together, make them sit around the table, introduce themselves, and interact with each other. I liked that the rooms and the bedspreads make it feel like a Southern home living. They check on them through the night and do everything for them, from cleaning them to washing/combing my sister's hair, to assisting them with their personal care. When you go visit them, they tell you how well they're doing or if they see anything that may be concerning, they'll let us know and give us a call. She says that the food is good. If I go visit them during meal times, they'll invite me to dinner with them. It was good, too. It's not the most modern facility, but it's very clean."
