"For my mother-in-law, we are considering Oaks at Eagles Landing. We like the overall location, the resources there, the staff that I met, and just about everything they offered there. The staff were very informative. They were willing to work with us, and they listened to what our needs were. The available rooms that we looked at were very spacious and very accommodating. The dining area was a beautiful setup and just very spacious. The surroundings were clean, too. They have what looked like manicured lawn, and it's beautiful. However, it's strange because I did not see the residents being actively involved. We were there during the time that lunch was being served. It appears that they have an activity room where they will do cards, arts and crafts, and different kinds of activities. The thing that I like is that they have an onsite beauty shop where the patients can go and get their hair done and whatever else to make themselves look and feel better about themselves. And those kinds of things that I really would be interested in. They also have a rehab room. If the doctor desires the residents to have therapy, it's there. Everything is right there and accessible. Plus, they have a bistro if you want something in between meals. If you don't like what's on the menu, they also have an option for you. So that's what I like about it."

"Sun City Peachtree is very nice and the staff was super. They had 2 swimming pools, one inside and one outside. The units I saw there were homes and they had garages. They have a theater, a gym, pool room, golf court, tennis court, and a baseball field. They had a lot of things going. They don't serve food because it's independent living."

"The Crossings at Conyers had a back entertainment area, a TV room, and a business center. The apartments had plank wood floors and an island in it. The bathrooms were nice sized, and the bedrooms were good sized. They had a security gate, which was important. I wasn't particularly impressed by the staff. They didn't seem as engaged. I went there one time and they said they would be back at a certain time, but didn't make it back. They had some activities and a backyard grill area. The apartments were a nice size. The walk-in shower was a nice size, and a washer and dryer came with the apartment. I saw a two-bedroom, but they also have a one-bedroom."

"My mother is in the Azalea Estates assisted living. The facilities and room were beautiful and clean and the staff members are great. My mom does water aerobics twice a week, they play cards and puzzles together, and are as active as they want to be. The staff would do what they're supposed to do like they bring her medications when she's supposed to have them, and they're just, friendly. They clean her room on Tuesdays, once a week, they're very consistent in what they do. I just want to say that the food could be better. They have arts and crafts, music, playing cards, putting puzzles together and they can do walks around the building. The grounds are really beautiful and nice, they have a garden in the back where they can garden. And they built it up so they don't have to bend over, and they can plant vegetables and flowers."
