It was small and cozy. The staff members were friendly. I ran into a couple of residents and they were nice, too. The facility was clean. There were no smells and that meant a lot. It is behind the hospital. So if anything happens physically or from an emergency standpoint, medically, you can get to the hospital in less than five minutes. That's a plus. It's also not far from grocery shopping. There is a Publix five minutes away and they take people on their bus to go shopping. So that was a major plus. They have a calendar filled with all kinds of activities and that was interesting as well. The staff was very pleasant, very nice, and open to showing and asking questions. From what I saw, I felt good about them. The facility was in good repair, so it didn't look like anything needed to be done. It was a small facility. I think they have 18 rooms or so for assisted living. So that's cozy and nice. I liked the layouts of the rooms. The one bedroom was spacious enough and I think it opened up to a courtyard so they could get some sunshine or you step out and get some air.

It seemed to be pretty nice. I saw the people out in the lobby and they seemed to be fairly happy. The rooms were nice, but I liked the studio better than the one-bedroom. The staff seemed to be very nice, too, and the lady who took me on a tour was very helpful. I saw them eating, and they looked like they had a pretty nice full plate of food. They had a garden, a game room, and a TV room.

My father is in here. They were very hospitable. I liked what I saw. The room was much bigger than where he came from. It's more like an apartment. He can have some of his independence. I love the staff. They're very attentive and very friendly, very welcoming. My father said he likes the food better there than where he was before. It was renovated, so they got new furniture and everything. It's awesome. You walk in, it smelled good, and everything was clean. They have bingo night and movie night, but my father doesn't want to participate.
