"The Landing of Winder was brand new; they had just opened up in January. I enjoyed my visit. It was a beautiful community. The room is spacious and the location is not too far from me, and I really liked it. I saw other communities, but this one I really liked."

"My dad moved into Legacy Personal Care Home almost a month ago. Right now, everything is going fine. I like that the community is small. For my father, I felt he might need a smaller community so that he could have more one-on-one attention and help. So far, the care has been good because I feel that the staff here is more invested. From what I saw, they're really big on nutrition. They make sure that their residents eat balanced meals. The place is very nice. The rooms are a pretty good size. The living spaces like the dining area, the living room, and the backyard look pretty up to par. There's a garden, and they do have someone who comes in to do haircuts and stuff, but they don't have a room designated for it."

"I really love Allegiance Personal Care Memory Care, but it was just so out of the price point. It one was phenomenal though. It was very organized, very clean, and up to date. The owners were very friendly and very efficient. They're great listeners, and they seemed to care about the residents a whole lot. I think it was $4,000 monthly and then the $2,000 deposit for the upkeep or something. It was only the price with that additional $2,000 when someone already has to come in paying $4,000. I think it was more or less for the maintenance of the home, and I was like it was too much of a stretch. The staff members were very knowledgeable. They had a heart as well as compassion for what they did. I felt they were really going to take care of your parents or loved ones without you worrying or stressing. They gave that level of comfort. I also noticed the cleanliness of the kitchen area. It was very clean. The ambience was ten out of ten. It smelled good; it didn't smell like urine. You didn't know elderly people were living there. It was very immaculate."

"The owner is an exceptional person! Our first meeting Ms. B informed us of how she previously cared for her residents and we wanted that same care for our mom. Her genuine spirit let me know we located the right place for our mom. Her home is immaculate, all way clean and fresh. Mom was always dress, looking beautiful and smelled amazing. Ms B is a woman that truly cares for her residents. Remember to visit your love ones and always consider the caregiver.Ms B has become my family and I visit her as often as I need too. "My boyfriend's mom is here, and it's fantastic. She's only been there a week. What I like most about the place is that the people are caring. The staff was very sweet to her. They have a beauty shop there that fixes their hair. It's a beautiful place, and they put in a new carpet before they took her in. She has a nice bathroom. Their food is very good. They have all kinds of games like scrabbles. "

"Oaks at Stockbridge had a very nice environment. It looked very clean and very organized. The tour was very professional. I liked the way the grounds were kept. The apartments were more like small studios with kitchenettes. There was a gathering room with a TV, but I did not see anybody doing activities. I just saw them gathered in a room. They had a courtyard and a library. They had people come in to do beauty care."

"We visited Oaks at Eagles Landing. It had everything that we were looking for, and it seemed perfect for our needs. They do have a large lodge type building that has everything in it, and we looked at an apartment in that building where you could have the needed staff to take care of you. Everyone there was very pleasant. There was a snack area where the residents could just drop by at any time of the day and have a quick snack or sandwich."

"It seemed to be nice, and it didn't seem dirty. Things were clean. The lobby area is nice. There were some birds in the cage there. Their independent rooms were nice as well. It looks like a studio apartment type without the cooking facility. The people that gave us a tour seemed nice. They had bingo, and at the time we came, they were playing music and singing. That was nice. "

"My mother loves living at The Grove in Watkinsville. She loves her accommodations and daily activities, especially the weekly van ride. Mostly, she loves all the caregivers. She thinks all of them have a special calling because each one is so patient and kind. I don't think I have ever visited my mother without someone stopping by to check on my mother or spend some time with her. Because my mother is so safe, happy and well-cared for, her family has much less stress in making sure her life is as good as possible. The past year was lots of constructions and renovations, but the restoration of an older assisted living facility has been very successful. It looks wonderful with some nice perks, such as the "community movie room". Having physical therapy and a visiting doctor has been a wonderful addition to the services provided. The food looks good. I plan to eat with her in the future. I am grateful to all the people at The Grove that make my mother's daily life so nice."

"We liked Beehive Homes of Stockbridge Memory Care a lot, but my mother just is not ready. We visited their memory care facility for her, and I like the layout of it. I also like how hands-on they were with the patients and their activities. I like that they did give them freedom, but watched them closely, too. We only saw one person from the staff, and she was very nice. She was very hands-on and very pleasant. They had an outdoor space, an activity center, a nice eating facility, and sitting areas."

"Medlock Gardens was OK, but I didn’t like it. She had bowel issues, and I smelled like urine. I want to make sure how often they were helping the cleaning situation there. The grounds were clean, and the staff was very friendly. I just noticed the urine smell; I don’t know what was going on that day. The dining area was clean, and there’s round tables in it. "

"My husband has moved into Enrich Senior Living of Norcross. It is a very caring community. They take pride in caring for their patients. The residents seem to be really happy. The food is good. The facility is clean. It doesn't smell. They have games. They have a football night and a movie night. They have physical therapy for the ones who need it. They also have different board games that they play with the residents. They have a podiatrist there. All the people that work there are certified in memory care. They have a barber that comes. They have a person that comes to take care of the ladies' hair, if they so desire."
