"My tour at Highlands Senior Living Jefferson was very informative. The people were very nice, and it was really a good experience. That was actually our first experience looking at any place. I like the staff a lot. He was very informative. He answered all our questions. Overall, it was a good experience. The apartment was nice. We got there at about lunchtime, and so there were people in the dining room, but we didn't try their food. They have a good variety of foods. Also, it looked like there would be things to do that would possibly interest my sister and my brother-in-law. They accepted pets, too, and that's a big thing because my brother-in-law had two little dogs. I like the place myself. I like the people. The employees seemed happy, and the patrons seemed happy, too. It seems like a nice place."

"My mother lives at Wisdom Well Living. Finally I have peace of mind knowing that she is taken care of. They spend quality time with each resident and since it is a small facility that makes it possible. It is kept neat and clean and all of the meals are delicious. It is obvious with the care they give that Beatrice and David are passionate about their care giving. I would highly recommend Wisdom Well Living if you are looking for care for your loved one. "

"My mom is staying in Magnolia Senior Living Loganville's memory care. Everything was in good condition, clean, and looked like it was well-kept. I was pleased with it. I think the staff was caring. Everything that we wanted from them, as far as attention for my mom, they adequately provided. They have devotion every morning, and Bible study once a week. They have a garden where you can take your loved one out for fresh air or sit outside under a canopy and have private time with them, whether they're in a wheelchair or if they're able to walk alone. They always had tablecloths, cloth napkins, and silverware. Tables were always set for every meal and cleared right after the meal was completed by the residents. The food was balanced and tasty too. I don't have any complaints."

"The two girls I met with for my tour were not sales-like or pushy which was nice. They seemed to understand and care how hard it was for me to even tour. I visited around lunch and the food looked appetizing. As much as I’ll hate having him away, I think the pines is going to be a great home for my husband. "

"I would give Towne Club Windermere a five all the way around. That was my favorite place, but it is set up more like an apartment building. It's a tower and you had to get on an elevator, and Mom wasn't comfortable with that, but the rooms were fantastic. They were like regular-size apartments. They have a beautiful pool, a garden area, a movie room, a hair salon, and tour buses that would take you to the grocery stores and stuff. Any amenity that you could think of they had there. They did social hour; you come down in the main room and have appetizers and things like that. They go from independent living all the way to memory care. The staff during the tour was very, very attentive. She showed us several different sized rooms and she gave us the pricing. She made sure that we had all the meals. She let us taste the meals, which were very, very good. She took us around. She was very patient with Mom and Dad. We actually sat down around the pool with some of the people there, and we were able to talk to the residents there, ones that were in wheelchair and ones that were a little bit more independent. My concern then at that point in time was finding a place for both my Mom and Pop and Pop to be more active. The staff introduced Pop to some of the guys there that still play golf and things like that, so he really felt comfortable there. It was Mom that was not at the time, that's why we didn't do so. We actually were there three times and we signed a contract with them twice. Mom just didn't think she could do that elevator. She didn't feel comfortable with it."

"My mother-in-law is a resident of The Joy Senior Living. We chose the place because of the cost, and it's close to where we live. Her apartment is very nice and one of the largest rooms we found when I was searching for a place for her. It is very clean and private. I've been there when she's eating a couple of times, and the food is always really good. They make all their food in their kitchen, and she eats well. The staff has been great. As for the activities, she's always doing something when we go by. I took care of her myself for the last year and a half, and it's not easy, so I appreciate what they're doing."

"I really liked The Overlook, it was nice. I went to see their assisted living for my husband and it was a great tour. I enjoyed talking to the person who walked me around. She showed me the spaces that were available, we toured the whole building, and she gave me information about it. The price was good, it's just that my husband needs more care than what they offer. I was also concerned because they don't have as many people available at night to assist, and he needs assistance in that area. The room was a one-bedroom, it was small, but it had a living area, a bathroom, and a bedroom, so it was nice. The one they showed me was near the cafeteria, so it would have been convenient for my husband to just walk out to the eating area. The place where they ate was also a common area with sofas and all kinds of pretty things. It's very charming, open, and welcoming."

"We've done a tour at Oaks at Hampton for my mom. They actually gave us a tour of both assisted living and memory care. I loved it, it was very clean, and all the residents seem to be very happy. All of the staff members were very nice. The person who accommodated us was very helpful. The rooms were spacious, and I like that you can bring your own furniture and accommodations for them. They were eating breakfast when we toured, and it was very clean and nice. They have a beauty salon that does hair and manicures. They have a playground where your grandchildren can come and have a place to play, a garden area to sit in, a game room, and a TV room."

"Security was good, and the employees were nice; they were very polite. The food was good. The rooms were pretty spacious for one person, and they were really nice. "

"I found a place for my dad, and it's called Lanier Place. The staff is incredible. If I could give them 10 stars, I would give them 10 stars. They're that good. They just make you feel like your family member is safe and you don't have to worry about them in their hands. It's like a very big family dynamic. They treat everyone equally and everyone is like family. It's just amazing. My dad has been there for six weeks now. He is there for regular assisted living. He does get medication management because of possible dementia, but right now, he is in assisted living. His room is great. It's a smaller apartment, and it's the lower income kind of part of the facility, but his apartment is good. It's perfect for him. It's easy for him to access everything, so it's really good. And it's right across from the courtyard; he loves to walk. My dad loves the food. It's delicious. It's like you're at a restaurant. It's very good. For activities, they walk with them and they have an ice cream social. They'll take them wherever they need to go like to doctor's appointments and outings. I remember one time I walked in and they asked them what activities they like and what they like to do. One was like, 'I want to go fishing,' and they were like, 'We can try and work that out.' So they want to do as much with them and make them happy."

"Celebration Village Forsyth comes off as a cleaner, more lively, and more active community than some of the other facilities. It's bright in appearance. It's more cheerful. The rooms are bigger. They're more spacious. They have bigger kitchens. Everybody we ran into was very pleasant and helpful."

"Oaks at Gracemont was a great place. Everything was good about it and we would have taken mom there. We liked the smallness, the cleanliness, and pretty much everything about it. The staff was genuinely helpful. They had a hair salon and a gym."
