Assisted Living Communities in Villa Rica, GA

"We are very happy with Woodland Ridge. It is my mother-in-law who is there, and they are taking good care of her. It is a beautiful facility, and she is really happy there. I will recommend it. She has a one-bedroom apartment with a full-size bed, a chair, a dresser, and a nice size closet. The staff is wonderful. They are very attentive, and they are concerned. They are quick to call us. We are there in different times of the day, so we know that she is having care throughout the day. The food looks good, and my mother-in-law loves it. "

"I think Silver Comet Village is about three years new. It's very nice and clean. The staff was overly informative and nice. Everybody that was there was nice. It seemed like they were more of a family. They have so much going on. The facility is big, nice, and clean, and it's accommodating. I did not tour the assisted living, but the independent area is nice. Parking is accommodating for the building. They have four floors and one- and two-bedroom apartments. It's very nice, and I just fell in love with the staff. I felt like I was moving in, and that's just how they approached me once I entered the doors. It was my first visit, and I was so impressed with that community. I met two staff, and one of them spent so much time with me. It wasn't a quick interview or a quick tour. I was there for two hours, and she was so patient. I looked at the menu, I saw the dining area, but I didn't get the chance to meet the chef. I came about an hour after lunch, so I didn't get the chance to be there during the meal. The facility is beautiful. It's so warm and so friendly. Even the guests were friendly. I've been looking for a place now for over a year, and I have never attended a tour where I saw activity going on. But, with me being involved in senior communities for the last 10 years, that was the most active participant activity that I've ever seen. Even in the senior community where I am, participants normally don't do more than four or five at each activity, but they had a full house yesterday for that. That impressed me yesterday, the participation in the activities that they had going. I was there for two activities. They had a performance of someone to entertain, and he was singing. And the second one was bingo, and both of them was full house participant to me from what I've seen. It's just a beautiful facility."

"Governor's Glen is a place where you can be comfortable. It's like being in your own home, with your own room, but with other people in it. It's a nice place. The staff was professional and they care. The rooms were nice, clean, and they had their own bathrooms."

"Montclair Assisted Living has a beautiful setting. I went to see their assisted living and the facilities were okay but the rooms were small. The people who worked there were very helpful and kind. It's an older facility, but I think they do a great job. They also answered all of my questions."

"The people at The Holbrook Decatur were understanding. It was well-facilitated and supported. There was a great supporting staff, and they kept the residents involved in activities. The apartments were nice-sized, up-to-date, very accommodating, and very clean. I wasn't able to see a non-furnished room as one would walk into it if they lived there."

"It was very nice. The people were very nice, and it was very clean. I did secure a room for my sister there, but because she could not get out of the bed into a wheelchair by herself, they would not take her. The staff member was very helpful, very friendly, and answered all our questions. She was a very, very nice person. The room that was chosen for her did not have a kitchenette. It was a studio-type apartment. It's a very open floor plan. The bottom level where the dining area merges into the lounge area and into the reception front desk area is very open and unobstructed. The residents there walking around with their walkers or wheelchairs seemed to be clean and happy."

"Belmont Village Buckhead was very clean and friendly, and it felt homey when you walked into the lobby. It wasn't overwhelming. It felt like walking into someone's house. The staff was friendly. The residents were all dressed and their hair was done. I was maybe thinking they'd be in a bathrobe or pajamas, but everybody was up and active and moving about the place. They had a research program for dementia going on, and they were doing interactive brain activities. Another big thing was they go over to Holy Spirit, my dad's church. He's Catholic and they went to his church, and the location is very close to his wife, which is 10 minutes away, so the location was good. It was a little older although I liked the homey feeling. Some of the other ones were pretty state-of-the-art, but this was a little less modernized."

"The food is to die for they have an excellent chef. Not only that but its extremely healthy food with an actual taste. The rooms are very nice spacious clean all beds were made bathrooms cleaned it was nice visiting here. "
