"Bridges by EPOCH at Mashpee is a memory care facility. It was beautiful, but also very, very expensive. Everybody was great. They're all trained to handle memory care residents. The rooms were nice, but my aunt needed someone to be with her and they only had singles. They were nice, but it wasn't going to meet her needs. The facility was brand new, so everything was clean and pretty. They all had little villages that they lived in and a lot of activities going on. They had a beautiful outdoor area, a bunch of function rooms where some lady was playing piano for them, a screening room, and all sorts of medical staff. It was top-of-the-line."

Wingate had everything as far as rehab, memory care, nursing home. The rooms are gorgeous over looking the lake and garden. She went from rehab to assisted living. She was not easy to deal with but the staff was able to win her over. My moms health declined quickly. The staff went above and beyond to make my mom and our family comfortable. If I ever had any concerns they always addressed it and never dismissed it. My mom passed in March 2022. I have zero regrets and would recommend Wingate Inn to any of my friends looking for elder care."

"My mom became a resident at Duxbury House back at the end of June 2021. Her memory loss was causing her a lot of anxiety. Since coming to Duxbury House she is calmer and the routine the staff has created keeps her engaged and happy. I enjoy coming and participating in exercise class along with the many games and cultural activities they plan for the residents. "My brother is in Harbor Point at Centerville. It is very nice. They're very good with the residents and they take care of them. It's a very homey atmosphere. They're very clean. The rooms were very adequate. They're very private. There's always staff around and available. They have a garden where their residents can walk. The staff is very caring. I haven't tried the food, but I assume that they're good. My brother has gained weight. They have activities planned virtually several times a day every day, singing and other community activities like that. The staff are all very good with the residents, very kind, and very available. It's always very clean. It's pretty expensive."

"I'm moving into Brookdale Cape Cod. They showed me everything, including the amenities. They introduced me to the heads of different departments and made me feel completely at home. Pat was very pleasant, and she answered all our questions immediately. I'm going to have a small one-bedroom apartment. They also have studios and two-bedrooms. I wouldn't want the two-bedroom because then I would have to take a roommate. They have just about anything you would want. They have dining and three meals a day. They have a wonderful patio outside, a reading room, a crafts room, and a few other things. The food looked wonderful. Every day, they have two menus for each meal. It looked very promising. I talked with the chef as well."

"My mother was at the All American. She was only there for about a month though. The food was very good. They had two separate bedrooms to a unit, and the people could have a TV or a phone. If you walked in the door to these two bedrooms, there was a little sitting area first of all, to the left of that was the bathroom and a shower, and then the two bedrooms -- each with their own door and separated by a wall -- and they were very clean. They did laundry every week for everybody, they had nursing and activities going on, people coming in for the activities, and three meals a day. This was the memory care, but the whole thing was assisted living with not more than 16 people in it, so it was a nice, hands-on type of thing. It was a very good place. My mom had her 101st birthday over there, and they gave her a wonderful party. They were fine. Everything was a five. "

"I visited Clifton Assisted Living last week to look at their assisted living. The tour was fine. It was a nice, small community that was very well-kept. I can't comment on the type of care the residents receive, but the place looks very appealing. It was very clean and organized. The staff I met was also fine."

"I toured Allerton House at Proprietors Green. It was exquisite. The staff were very friendly. They had everything that I could be interested in. They had a theater, they had a pub, they had transportation, and they had a lovely dining room. It's extremely clean. It was in a very equipped location for everything."

"My wife moved into Bridges by EPOCH at Pembroke. It's a nice facility and it is very clean. It's only about 5 years old. The decorations are just beautiful. She's acclimating well there now. The staff is very experienced and very involved, and they make the residents very comfortable. They watch out for them. They're concerned about not only the residents but the families as well. I've got no complaints about her safety, and she's getting involved in the activities. The food is good. It's adequate. For most of the meals, they serve nice hot soup. There are activities every day. They start the day with some kind of a meeting type of thing where they have news of the day. They'll do physical activity. Even if you're in a wheelchair, you can still move your arms and move your legs. They have entertainment once or twice a day. They have music therapy, and they have all the different hand therapy and mental therapy."

"I went to Maplewood at Mayflower Place. Our tour guide, Julie, was exceptional. She took so much time with us, and since it was our first place we had a ton of questions. We were very impressed with the whole place. One of the impressive points is that their independent and assisted care is combined. So if my friend went to independent care but then was disabled somehow and needed assistance, she would not have to move. She would stay in her same place and just get the care she needed. The dining room is combined, so if she had a friend who left and went to assisted care, she wouldn't really be leaving. She would just be getting new services, so that seemed exceptional to both of us. She would move once and not move again unless she, of course, had dementia, but then they can accommodate that in a separate facility. Their accommodations, their amenities, everything was topnotch. We saw three apartments and she could see herself staying there. The room sizes had a variety. The kitchens were all the same and adequate, and the bathrooms were spacious and handicap accessible. The differences were the bedroom, living, and dining options, but the decks were spacious. One apartment had two decks. They seemed airy and the rooms were very bright and the ceilings were high, so you didn't feel closed in at all. We were given a coffee cake, which was exceptional, but we have not had a meal there. We have decided to come back for one."

"The Mill Hill Residences is such a warm and inviting community. My mother has been a resident for the last 18 months and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the food, staff, rooms, activities etc. My siblings and I feel fortunate to have found such a perfect fit for our mom!"
