"My mother-in-law moved into Susan Bailis Assisted Living. The facility is bright and welcoming. The people are very friendly. It is a nice place. The staff members are very helpful. My mother-in-law's room is very small, but sunny and modern. It's a one-bedroom. It seems like there are a lot of various activities for residents. They have a beauty salon, a library, a café, and a common room. My mother-in-law seems to really love the food. It's a beautiful building."

"I really like Benchmark Senior Living at Woburn a lot. Unfortunately it was in Covid lockdown, but we like it a lot. It seemed to be very nice. They had a really cute community center, a pub area, different nice gathering spots, and a movie place. They had a nice spot for when you are not in your room, you can be alone. They had nice outdoor space and a bocce court. The staff members were excellent. It was new, so everything felt very fresh and clean. I thought it was laid out very nicely. Everyone seemed to have privacy in their room, but they were still near each other. It just had a very nice feel."

"I was able to visit Providence House, and the experience was very positive. It has a steel feel to it. No frills. I met their marketing personnel. I had lunch there, and the food was excellent. I have now decided to move there. The atmosphere also I felt that I fit in the place. I received their full package of information, and I was impressed with the scope of the activities available. The staff was very responsive. "

"My wife moved in to the memory unit of Chestnut Park at Cleveland Circle, but now she has moved to the traditional/assisted living unit. It's excellent and very clean. The staff is very nice, and the people are completely cooperative. The care is good. The grounds and facility location are excellent. She is in a studio apartment which is small but quite adequate. There are also one bedrooms. She was in a 1-bedroom earlier and that was very nice too. She participated in activities every day all day. There is a wide variety like exercises, lectures, and movies. There are no arts and crafts, but the residents are busy all day. The food is very good."

"My mom moved into Evans Park at Newton Corner a month ago. It was very clean and calm. They had programs running all around. Every time I was there, something was going on. They have loud music, great video, and entertainment. It was pretty good. The staff members were very helpful and very friendly. They took care of her needs, like once she needed to go to the bathroom, and they came in like a minute later. So everything was fine. Her room was very clean. It was just one bedroom. It was a good size and had a desk, a TV, and a bathroom. It was nice, and it was more than what she needed. They have smaller rooms, and that was the hangout room. In one room, there was music playing. In another room, there was something else going on and stuff like that. So it wasn't just one big room."

"Sunrise of Newton is smaller than the others I went to. It's a newer facility, and they're still working things out. It was nice, the rooms were average, the food was fine. The staff member was very knowledgeable, she had a friendly demeanor, and she knew her stuff. They had a theater, and they were doing activities in the memory center. Everything was clean."

"Our family was at a standstill when our elderly mom was living on her own and experiencing more and more health issues than we could provide assistance for her privately. It took a while to convince her she needed help after living an independent life for so long. We contacted The Parc @ Harborview and within days we toured, she loved it, we moved her in. She immediately adapted to her new surroundings. The best thing is that the care she receives at the Parc is top notch. Aids check on her throughout the day and night. They are sure she gets to her meals in their elegant dining area and eating healthy choices with companions. She is greatly encouraged to join the other residents in their activities and social gatherings (which are many). She made friends with residents and staff and her loneliness and health have taken a complete turnaround. I thank the great staff at the Parc from Anita and Burt at the front desk, health care professionals, and all employees who help in sharing their time and care for the residents. I would highly suggest taking a look if you or your family member is feeling alone or unsafe living alone. This is the place to be. Super plus plus plus, the facility is spotless with lots of gathering areas throughout for family to meet with their loved one. Thanks to all for being there, I can sleep at night knowing Mom is in the best hands."

"I toured Sunrise of Burlington MA for my mom. It was fresh, clean, and open. It looked like they're either very well kept, or they just did a renovation or remodel; everything looked very nice. The staff was very helpful, as they all are, nothing out of the ordinary. With Covid, we weren't able to try any food or anything there. It was a walkthrough and if I remember correctly, the dining area seemed very nice. I think they had the amenities that you would expect."

"We selected Atria Longmeadow Place. It's a nice facility, and I think it's laid out well. The rooms and common areas are nice, my dad likes his room, and it was very clean when we moved in. It's not too big, but there's enough space for one person. The staff has been very good, and I think he's happy with the services they've provided. They take them to the restaurant sometimes, or to the grocery store, but if you are not one of the first eight peopl to sign up, you don't get to go, so there was an occasion where he couldn't go out to eat. They just have one van and there wasn't enough space. That's been a little hard. He's been very happy with the food, and there's a walking group, but he was the only one that showed up to that. He's slowly getting to be a little social."

"Sunrise of Lynnfield seemed a nice place. The people in charge were quite friendly. We looked at a couple of the rooms and we talked about prices. We looked at their activity schedule. The staff were very nice and knowledge, very informative. I would recommend the people to look at the place if they are interested. "

"Scandinavian Living Center was an absolutely lovely facility. Great staff, beautiful, lots of recreational and educational opportunities, and good food. It had beautiful rooms, small, intimate settings. You name it, they have it: music, dance, games, outside speakers coming in, and community organizations that meet in the building so the seniors can participate. You basically have a little apartment with a little bit of a kitchenette, but they had communal meals too."

"The people at Benchmark Senior Living at Waltham Crossings were nice. The dining room was very nice, and the food was good. The room was clean, neat, and accommodating. They had outings, arts and crafts, musical activities, exercises, luncheons, and other social activities. Everything was OK at this facility. "

"My sister is at Sophia Snow Place. It's very comfortable and well-furnished. The food is good, and I like that. I don't think they have enough staffing though. With regard to activities, the only thing she attends is the poetry group. She doesn't care to be engaged in anything else. Her room is spacious. She has a double bed in there. She has a recliner and another chair, and she's able to hang all the paintings that she loves. The place is clean, too."
