"I am a short term resident of the rehab area. Staff is very helpful & nice. Rooms were pleasant & cleaning was sufficient. Food was a continuing problem--I use a low carb diet as diabetic control & the kitchen did not understand it at all. I kept getting starches & surgary deserts etc. Cooking in general was also wretched. I once had to ask what an omelet was on my plate--it looked like a waffle. Once I was serve a piece of fish with absolutely nothing else on the plate. Couldn't they put some green vvegies also? "

"My Dad has been in and out of Rehab facilities and Nursing Homes for the better part of 10 years due to multiple conditions he suffers from. We have been admitted to many facilities but none of them - NOT ONE - can come close to the high quality and genuine compassion that the Sancta Maria team offer. Great job Sancta Maria!! "The administrator Ben is outstanding. My aunt is in the facility, and we could not be happier. The staff have been attentive, and caring. Although we cant currently visit due to the pandemic, we have spoken with our aunt almost daily. We look forward to visiting her in person again soon. She keeps raving about the actives! Considering the limitations caused by the pandemic, that is exciting for us to hear. Her room is spacious and well done as well. Thanks Everett for everything!"

"My seventeen day stay at the Aberjona Nursing Center allowed me to accomplish my personal goals of taking care of myself and allowing me to return home safely. Also, the rehabbing gave me the physical fitness to accomplish my goals. The professional staff overseeing my care and the hard work of the therapy team enhanced my success. "

"I would give Leonard Florence Center for Living an A in everything. I went to visit my brother-in-law. It's primarily a Jewish nursing home and it's transitional. People go there as nursing home residents and then some of them go into assisted living, and I thought they were excellent. They had everything you could have except they did not have a swimming pool."

"My father-in law and mother both had wonderful stay at Golden LivingCenter Elmhurst. My father-in law visited for some short term rehab and although he was not the easiest patient for the staff, they did an exceptional job assisting him to return home in the shortest time possible under the safest conditions. He did not want to go to a rehab, however, in the end realized it was best for him to increase his strength so he was able to return home. The staff at Elmhurst really helped him and were very patient and understanding with him. My mother was a long term patient at Elmhurst. She loved being at Elmhurst as the staff treated her like she was part of their family, especially Gladys, Maryann, Toni and Barbara staff on the second floor, It was very comforting to her family to know how well she was taken care of and how good she felt about being somewhere other than home. Thanks so much to all the Elmhurst staff for the great care for our family members. I would highly recommend the Elmhurst to care for a loved one. "

"My father has been at Epoch for about seven weeks now. Not the best looking place but good food and great staff. My family visit morning, noon and night and we have not experienced anything negative with staff members. The important thing to us is that he is treated well and fed. They offer many recreations that any and all patients can participate in. They invite family members to join in the festivities which I think shows the patient that we are all family. That is a good feeling - family is the world to most people and Epoch in my opinion tries to create that family feeling. "

"My Mother was here! In 2012 for 2 weeks for rehab physical therapy . I was impressed with all aspects of the facility and staff. The property was very clean . The staff was very attentive , caring and well trained . Therapists did a fantastic job in a short period of time . The food was excellent very fresh many choices not what you expect from an insatutional facity. I would give it a 5 star rating. She was 85 years old at the time . She fell and broke her hip a month ago i.n 2017 and when it came time for her to go to rehab I was thankful she was able to get a bed here . Some things have changed in 5 years. The staff for the most part is still very good . There was an issue with one of the nurses aides . I discussed the problem with the Nurse supervisor I had about 5 issues and the issues were rectified iimmediately to my satisfaction. The one big difference today compared to 2012 is the food . The choices have been lifted to 2 choices per meal . Some of the quality in food is still there but it seems like the second choice for lunch a d dinner is where my disdapointment comes from. Over all I still feel this is the best facilityfrom the North Shore to Boston. The most importamt osdue ehich is cate given is still a 5 star rating I am still very Thankful she was there again. "

"I recently visited a resident at Tuell nursing home. In general, I thought Tuell Nursing home is excellent. The grounds of the facility are minimal but well kept. The center is located on a main road in Melrose, MA and is easily accessible by car. I utilized street parking and you do have to be careful because it is located on a busy street. Upon walking into the nursing home you feel like you have stepped into someone's house, not a nursing home. Since it was my first visit I was a little confused about where to check in and find the resident I was looking for. Despite my initial confusion I was immediately greeted warmly and given assistance to find the resident. The staff of the facility are responsive, everyone who passed by offered me assistance. There did not seem to be much in the way of common areas as it is a very small facility. There is a lovely patio area out back that is surrounded by trees. The dining room is small but very comfortable; it also has more of a homey feel than an institutional feel. The shared residents' rooms are large and have a home-like feel. I noticed the resident's room was a bright color and there were large wooden closets for each resident to use. There were personal effects displayed on the tray-table. While I was there, I noticed that the facility staff demonstrated patience and it was clear they had developed a caring and friendly relationship with a patient of mine who has dementia. I have never had trouble trying to reach a resident via the phone, you call a resident phone line and the staff answers it and brings it right to the resident. Overall, Tuell nursing home is a wonderful place, and I would recommend it to everyone, especially those who are looking for good quality long-term care without the typical nursing home feel. "

"The tour at Chelsea Soldiers' Home was excellent. The guy giving the tour took his time with us and showed us all of the amenities. It's just immaculately clean and it's a fresh, modern living environment. The rooms are private and they're good sized. And they all have their own bathroom. They do have a courtyard and activity area."
