"Walking into your facility I was very negative looking for every reason to not place my loved one in a long term care. I walked out after our tour with a different view which was how could I get her into the Guardian Center .The building was beautiful and the staff we ran into had a pleasant greeting to us with a smile. The Administrator is amazing, she spoke to us as if we were family and all her kind words and we never felt rushed even with all of our question. One of our hardest days was that tour has turned into a relief seeing staff interacting and the way the administrator treated us. THANK YOU"

"My mother has been a patient at Queen Anne on two different occasions. Both experiences were very good. The facility is beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff is friendly, outgoing and very competent. My mother received fantastic rehab that enabled her to go back home to her own home and live independently. The nicest thing was that even though her 2 visits were more than a year apart we saw the same staff members and they remembered my mother well. I have to disagree with the previous reviewer who said there was not much going on. My mother was offered a wide variety of activities when she wasn't busy with therapy. We have known several other people who have been to Queen Anne and have never heard a negative comment. I would recommend without hesitation. "

"My father is a resident at the Life Care Center of West Bridgewater. After multiple short term stays there following hospitalizations, we had to make the difficult decision to place him there for long term care. We could not be more pleased with the exceptional care he receives there. The nursing staff is wonderful and attentive to his needs and wants. They go above and beyond for him and treat him like family. The same can be said about the rehab department. The activities department makes life fun at Life Care for their residents and patients. They recently had a Hawaiian Luau, and worked with the Rehab department to organize an Olympic event. The past year with difficult with Covid restrictions, but we knew our dad was safe and surrounded by staff who love and cared for him when we couldn't be there. I would recommend Life Care Center of West Bridgewater to anyone without hesitation."

"My aunt is recently deceased after spending three years at Baypointe. It was built within the last ten years or so, and is one of the "deluxe" type nursing homes affiliated with an assisted living community. Overall I found it to be about as good as you could expect. The building and grounds are attractive and well-kept, and the common areas and rooms are kept very clean. I found the staff to be efficient and kind, for the most part - of course there are exceptions as might find anywhere. I only have two complaints: I feel that they fall somewhat short in providing sufficient physical therapy, and also that they should provide more interactive activities for the seniors, especially the ones who are a little further along. I fell that the seniors do spend a bit too much time vegetating, but I realize that it's possible hard to provide that level of care. Also it is quite expensive, but almost all nursing homes in our area of eastern Massachusetts are. So in short, that's why I give four stars - not perfect but above average in terms of facilities and staff. A solid B plus. "

"I didn't know how to tell my aunt that this would be best for her, but I managed. At first, I was concerned and even a bit skeptical. I trusted in myself to provide care for my family. After visiting just once I realized that this was an incredible choice. The faculty are top notch, the facility is homely and everyone is always friendly. My aunt was enjoying herself and that was the most important thing to me. Furthermore, the service they offer is so important to these folks that it made me happy to see how seriously they took their jobs. Aside from the staff, they provide an awesome food service. I can't say enough about it, I really enjoyed eating their myself. Not only that, but if you look at people their they seem happy and content. My aunt raved about how she had made new friends and felt like she had purpose, and this made me feel great. I highly recommend Renaissance Garden to anyone looking for an assisted living home, you can't do better than this place! "

"My wife was a resident at Blue Hills and she had Alzheimer's. The staff were very nice from the first day she went there and always treated me nice too. I would often see the Director of Nursing out and talking to the other patients and my wife she knew well too. Sometimes my wife was difficult about taking a shower but the staff went back to her and sure enough, would get her to cooperate and finish her shower. I used to visit my wife every day and even weekends and was surprised to see the Administrator there a few times. The staff seemed to appreciate his presence and he spoke to everyone using their names. I guess what I would say is that Blue Hills became my wife's and I second home and I was happy to be part of the family."

"My mother had a stroke at the age of 67 and lived in a remote cabin in Vermont. My sister and I needed to find a center that would help her recover while getting the medical attention she needed and it had to be near my sister's home in Weymouth. Weymouth Health Care center answered our call and took the time to hear our situation and then helped us step by step in getting the paperwork from the hospital where she just had surgery. When we entered the building they were there to greet us. My mom's room was clean and bright. The facility smelled clean and friendly. The rehab nurses are knowledgable and caring. My only issue is the assistant nurses don't all speak English and sometimes slow to get things done like like showers, etc. My mother got the care and attention needed to get back on her feet. She always seemed very happy and well fed. "

"My dad went in Life Care Center of the South Shore for rehab, and he's in hospice care now. It's a typical nursing home setup, and it?s very hospital looking, but the care he's getting is really good. He's very comfortable, and his needs are being met. We feel very good that he's probably at the best place for him at this point. The staff is great, and there aren't many amenities, but they have an activity area and physical therapy in a well-equipped gym. They show movies, and they have musicians and entertainment come in."

"My uncle had been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. We brought his to Massachusetts so that he would be closer to family who lived in the area. Cardigan Nursing and Rehab was recommended to us as a good place for my uncle to spend to improve the quality of his last remaining days.The staff was very courteous to us. They assisted my Uncle with the basic necessities of life including bathing and dressing as well as preparing his meals. My uncle also had speech problems as a result of the treatment for his lung cancer and they assisted with speech therapy as well. Further, while the center was not adorned in luxury, the facilities were clean and bright. Most importantly, though, the staff was very friendly to us and to my Uncle. They always greeted me and my Uncle with a smile; things like that were important to him. The staff was also ready for any challenges that confronted them. For instance, we had some trouble with the timing of the cable operator to install cable in my Uncle's room and we were unable to attend at the times that they were coming. The staff took control and showed the cable operator where to go and made sure that the TV was working for my Uncle and that he was receiving the correct package. I thought that was very compassionate of them, since they knew about my Uncle's old time move collection and his affinity for TV.Another instance of their compassion was when they contacted my wife after my Uncle was brought to the local hospital. They were calling to see how he was doing and if there was anything they could do while he was at the hospital. They also told us that his room would remain available for him in the event he was brought back for rehabilitation.Overall, I was pleased with Cardigan and would highly recommend it to anyone in my place. "In September of last year, I was going down the steps of my deck and fell. It was a nice summer evening and I was in a bit of a hurry. After falling, I knew that something was broken since I could not walk as it was too painful. It turns out that I broke my ankle in 3 places and had surgery the next morning. I live by myself and needed subsequent care and rehabilitation. I went to Kindred and stayed there for 2 months. The staff was very nice and most of the nurses and doctors were very good at what they did. There were a few drawbacks. There was a woman in the room next to me who had her tv on very loud and it disturbed me. (the tv's do not have headphones) I mentioned it to the nurses and they spoke to her about it. It was ok for a few minutes then she turned up the volume once again. I believed that she should have been in a room where she would not disturb other patients. The other drawback was that the facility was understaffed but most of the workers were good at what they did and worked very hard. The other drawback was the doctor who treated me at the facility. I saw him only 3 times during my stay and he acted as if he was in a hurry and didn't care about my welfare. While I was there, I met a few very nice people and still visit them there and talk to them on the phone. "
