"My mother was in this Rehab Facility for three months. The Rehab was wonderful, but the care was poor. Nurse left a needle and meds on the bed side table and left the room while my mom was in the bathroom being toileted. CNA's would double glove wearing two gloves at the same time not washing hands between patients.. My mom also would ring the call light to be changed and would have to try and enjoy a meal while being soiled. CNA's took frequent breaks. "

"I was checking in on one of my relatives and the costumer service was outstanding. Every question I had was answered. They was good to me while I visited. My aunt loves it there. Her living space is good. If she loves it I love it. Love the place. We love the service here. Any type of services they provide they go above and beyond. Highly recommended."

"Adult Daily care. Dad been attending one year. It’s been a blessing. Looking at it from the view point of what the senior likes and will thrive vs what I prefer. We needed assistance from isolation; meds; nutrition and a friendly hello every day. He has received all of them. They do a easy game daily and some musical guests. He enjoys the simple life now and that is ok. Pleasant staff with some turn over but that’s to be expected. I feel he’s safe. I never had negative issue w staff. He’s stable. Enjoy the moments. A new space in 2019 for adult daily care too."

"I recently visited a resident at Lighthouse Nursing Care Center. In general, I thought Lighthouse Nursing Care Center was excellent. The grounds of the facility are well kept. The center is located on a main road in Revere, MA and is easily accessible by car. Across the street is a large parking lot available for visitor parking. When entering the facility there is someone at the door to greet you, sign you in, and direct you where to go. There is a common area as you walk past the front desk and this area is always full of residents sitting in chairs with their walkers or wheelchairs. This area can be a bit startling at first; however, the residents always look happy, clean, and are eager to greet you as well. The staff and management of the facility are responsive. Upon going to the nurse's station on the second floor, I was immediately greeted warmly and given assistance to find a resident. There were also residents out utilizing the common areas on the second floor. The shared residents' rooms are comfortable and have a home-like feel. I noticed the resident's room was a bright color and there were two nice wooden bureaus for each resident to use. There were personal effects displayed on the tray-table. While I was there, I noticed that the facility staff demonstrated patience and it was clear they had developed a caring and friendly relationship with a patient of mine who has dementia. Overall, Lighthouse Nursing Care Center is a wonderful place, and I would recommend it to everyone, especially individuals that may have cognitive issues/dementia who are looking for good quality long-term care as well as short-term rehabilitation. "

"After my Aunt was no longer able to care for herself due to dementia, the family opted to bring her to the Annemark Nursing Home, as there was no one who could give her the 24 hour care that she needed. On my visits to her, I noticed that it was fairly clean. It smelled like a typical hospital. I was happy to note that it did not have the covered over smell of urine, like many other such facilities that I've visited do. The staff was always very polite, and every time we visited, my aunt was clean. Her hair was combed, and her clothes were washed. I was very happy with the way my aunt was treated here, and the service we received. "

"This placed is a really nice place for my father to live. He basicaly has his onw apartment with medical staff around. He doesnt have a rooomate and the rooms are very big with little kitchenettes in them. It is nicer then the apartment he lived in before. Plus its cheaper now and he has the medical care he needs. The staff is great! They are all really friendly people. They also have lots of activitys for the seniors to do. My dad loves bingo night there! They also have a shuffle board outside witch me and my dad often play. There is a gym and libary too. most nights my dad likes to play bridge with friends he has made there. I must say he has became way more social since moving him here. I believe he is happier now even know he wasnt to crazy about the idea at first. Now I know he will be happy living there for awhile he seem to be doing much bettr health wise. I have also tried the food there with was very good in my oopinio, and dad likes it too. They have a turkey dinner there that is really good and come with all the trimmings he defintly eats better there then i do at home. so over all i would say this is a really good place for your love ones. I would recommend it to anyone who has a love one who is aging and isolated its really helped my dad. "

"I love this facility. Mom started out as assisted living residence with low income. While she had her own room they also offer activities during the day and special activities for holidays. They also offer mass and other lets chat - social conversations for the residence. When mom fell and broke her ankle they also had acute care in the same facility. Knowing she was safe and being cared for the physical and occupational therapy took a lot of worry away from. "

"I have had two close family members who resided and Glen Ridge. One was on the alzheimer's unit. She lived there a year. As we watched her disease take hold she rarely remembered any of us. Sometimes she would recognize the staff more than me or one of my kids. She was treated with great kindness and dignity by everybody. They don't have any easy job, taking care of the elderly. I know the aides and nurses aren't always thanked by family members like me. So, because of the season, and because I'm feeling thankful for the way my loved one was cared for............I'm saying thank you to the wonderful staff. "

"The rooms here our a bit older but a nice size and pretty standard. all of the staff are very nice and helpful especially the rehab and activity staff. They offer Bingos and afternoon movies and Catholic masses. "

"I recently visited a resident at Saugus care and Rehabilitation center. In general, I thought Saugus care and Rehabilitation center was wonderful. The grounds of the facility are well kept. The center is located on a main road in Saugus, MA and is easily accessible by car. There is adequate parking available for visitors. There is a designated smoking area for residents' on the grounds. The common areas of the facility are well-maintained and often full of residents socializing. The shared residents' rooms are a bit small with unremarkable features. Placed around the center were flyers encouraging residents to attend upcoming events scheduled such as bingo, movies, and various arts and crafts activities. The staff and management of the facility are responsive. While I was there, I noticed that the social worker, RN, and other staff had developed a caring and friendly relationship with a resident who is known for being a little difficult. The facility staff demonstrated caring, patience, and positive re-direction to this resident on several occasions. I observed several caring interactions between residents and the staff whether it was a brief hello in the hallways or lending a helping hand to a resident who dropped something. The facility staff took the time to organize and attend a team meeting for this resident to help her advocate for herself. The facility staff was genuinely concerned that the resident would be happy and successful once she left the facility. One of the only frustrations I encountered with the facility occurred when calling the resident via the facility phone to speak with her. The facility line was either busy or rang for a lengthy time without anyone answering. Overall, Saugus care and Rehabilitation center is a great place, and I would recommend it to everyone, especially individuals that may have a difficult time developing relationships with others. On a scale from 1-5, I would give the facility a 4 out of 5. "

"Life Care Center of Stoneham is really nice. It is new, so it is attractive to people, but it is a little expensive also. I highly recommend this place if you have the money. What -- to me -- is outstanding about the place is the staff. They are a bunch of very caring people. The staff is great. Actually, my sister is there, and they take very good care of her. For my sister, I could rate it a five, but for other people, maybe I would rate it a four. I don't feel their activities are enough for some people, depending on why people are there. If they are there because maybe they have no one else to take care of them and they are physically OK, they don't have enough activities that could stimulate them. "
