I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom was in this facility for 3 months after a broken hip. I would give zero stars if I could. Run away from this place. Dirty, smells her bathroom was never cleaned her bed sheets not changed and my mom did not receive the care she needed. Very understaffed. Got an infection on her foot they did nothing but wrap it and she is a diabetic. Dr never came in. Trust me they heard from me and it was not pleasant. I could go on all I can say is run away from this place. I am now looking for long term care for my mom and this place XX no way!

I visited this facility

My father in law was transferred there from MGH two weeks ago.His health has rapidly declined since that time. He has lost 15 lbs and has acquired an infection, normally I would blame this on declining health but observed several actions that contribute to his decline. There are instances were cleanliness is deplorable.Dirty bandages ,overflowing trash cans ,dirty dirty laundry, even fecses on the floor. I observed staff not wearing gloves while treating him and even was given an attitude by staff when I requested that she shake up the oscalite before she put it in the feeding tube. The containers were on the table for 25 minutes prior and were never shaken up. I also was lied to by staff when she said she served his food at breakfast. I had been there since 6am and no food came to his room until 11am There seems to be a miscommunication with staff. I voiced my concerns with Brett and was told by him that he would get back to me,that was four days ago My father in law was taken back to MGH today and WILL NOT be going back.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Coming from a previous great experience I was happy to have my husband accepted back here at West Revere. It has been an over all good experience, with a few bumps but I was able to speak with a considerate person right away. They understood the problem and was able to fix it. The cna's have been wonderful. The therapy team , if it weren't for them my husband would not be walking and going home. Malia has been so polite and sweet such a love! Along with Vinh and Pam and Jimmy . They are real assets to he company. They are all phenomenal . Customer Service (Kaitlin) has been a huge help. Anything I need their always available. But therapy really pushed my husband to get up and work hard. Thank You West Revere !!

I am/was a resident of this facility

I am a current resident here at west revere the staff has been really sweet and I enjoy the food here. I even enjoy a few activities here and there. Christmas crafts have been fun recently. Some staff is more friendly than others . But that is like that anywhere you go. The room I have been in is so nice and so clean. Very beautiful

I am/was a resident of this facility

I have only had therapy one day due to my insurance . I have been trying to keep up with the exercises myself . I enjoy interacting with most staff. Some more than others but that is like that anywhere you go. Social Services has been working with me and For me to help me find appropriate and good housing. I cannot say enough of how thankful I am for that. Going forward I would highly recommend this facility over all good place.

I am a friend or relative of resident

I have had a few small issues that were handled by administration promptly and resolved beyond my expectations. My husband has been here since Sept 2014 and Synergy took over in March 2015. There was a period of adjustment but I believe that staff are doing their best to accommodate my husbands needs . As part of my regular routine I call the facility in the morning and in the evening . I f his nurse is busy with another patient the person who answers tries to get the info that I am looking for to help ease my mind. It demonstrates to me that the staff both on his unit and with in the entire facility are working as a team to give my husband excellent care and to support me as his care giver

I visited this facility

Annemark nursing is located in Revere, MA, near the Malden and Revere border. The facility is easily accessible from the route one highway. I visit the facility two to three times a year and also drive past it almost every day as it is located next to the main road. Annemark provides skilled nursing services including Alzheimer's and dementia care. The facility has a unit specifically for caring for residents with Alzheimer's. Residents in the Alzheimer's unit are closely monitored and access to the unit is restricted to prevent seniors from wandering off. Nurses and certified nursing assistants work 24 hours to provide nursing care. However, the facility is a little understaffed just like most nursing homes in U.S. Housekeeping staff tries to keep residents rooms and common areas neat. The facility prepares meals for the residents and they are served three times a day. Snacks are also provided. Relatives and guardians are allowed to visit loved ones anytime. The interaction between staff and residents is more professional. However, the staff is friendly. Members in the Alzheimer's unit do try to engage residents in activities that can improve memory. I would recommend Annemark nursing home to seniors with alzheimers and dementia who prefer living in the Northshore area of Boston.

Friend or relative of resident

After my Aunt was no longer able to care for herself due to dementia, the family opted to bring her to the Annemark Nursing Home, as there was no one who could give her the 24 hour care that she needed. On my visits to her, I noticed that it was fairly clean. It smelled like a typical hospital. I was happy to note that it did not have the covered over smell of urine, like many other such facilities that I've visited do. The staff was always very polite, and every time we visited, my aunt was clean. Her hair was combed, and her clothes were washed. I was very happy with the way my aunt was treated here, and the service we received.
