"The staff were very nice and friendly. The food was good, and the dining room was very big, almost formal. The rooms were big. The security was good. They had arts and crafts, bingo, games, and a computer place. I don't think Greystone Farm needs any improvement. "

"We chose this facility because it is close to where I live. This facility sits in the woods; the location is very beautiful and picturesque. This is not a very large facility thus giving it a homey environment. My sister's room is very large, it has a double closet and she shares a bathroom with just one resident. My sister likes the food here, she says its excellent. The staffs are just wonderful. She helps her with medication, they take her to outings, bring her to the library because she doesn't drive and provide her with any other things she needs. Some recreational activities available in this facility include bingo games, watching TV together, taking residents to stores, inviting a podiatrist once a month and facilitating celebrations. This facility is doing everything I expect for my sister. She's younger than the other residents so she bonds more with the workers. This has been a very positive experience for her. "

"My relative is in Ashland Farm. The staff is very caring. The food is very good. They have exercise classes, movies, and entertainment that comes in. Overall, we are very happy, but they can improve their price. "

"My wife’s mother has been at Benchmark Senior Living at Robbins Brook for about six years. It’s very impressive. I can see that they have lots of things going on. We’ve gone to many of the functions that they’ve had there, like barbecues and brunches, so we see that they do a lot for the residents. The facility is physically larger and somewhat well appointed. The staff is very nice and very attentive. "

"My Mom and Dad were residents in the Memory Care Unit. They moved in July 2016 and sadly my Dad past six months after and my Mom past July 2017. My family and I always felt that were taken good care of at Windsor. The owner and staff were very responsive to my parents and my family’s needs. I also had hospice care for my Mom at Windsor. I knew she was getting the best care possible. When my Mom was brought to the emergency room, the ER Nurses asked me where she was coming from. I asked them why they were asking me, they told me it was obvious by my Mom’s physical appearance that she was being taken very good care of. I attribute that to the staff at Windsor as well as the hospice care she was receiving as well as the team from Dr. Soma’s office looking after her. My Mom was 90 years old when she passed and I can say the last year of her life at Windsor was quality. I directly attribute that to the all of the Windsor staff from the caregivers to the activity director as well as the hospice team and Dr. Soma’s staff. I would not hesitate to recommend Windsor Place."

"My father is in Wingate Residences at Haverhill. We're gonna try it out for 30 days and see what happens from there. If he wants to stay, we'll let him stay there. He just got in there a couple of days ago. He's staying in an apartment unit. It's a new facility, which is a big white building in the back. They're very pleasant and very helpful. It's a nice, quiet community, plus they have a lot of activities for them. They haven't started yet. They have therapy, which is good. They put his medications in packets for him, so he won't forget. They're supposed to give him delicious food. He has an outdoor area, and it's beautiful. He uses a wheelchair and he can go out there, sit, and enjoy the fresh air. I hope he decides to stay there. I eat with him if I want to and I pay per plate. He likes the food. It's gorgeous inside. It's beautiful. There's an activity director, but I don't know what activities they have for them. I'm sure they'll keep them occupied. The price is really not bad; every place is expensive."

"The Gables was just right off the street from me. It was lovely. The one whom I toured the place with was very nice. The rooms were awesome. They were spacious unlike the others. If I would go anywhere, I would be at The Gables. I would recommend them to others. "

"Delaney at the vale is a beautiful new facility offering features that were important to me. I needed to quickly transition my parent into a memory care unit, but where he was a fall risk, it was important to me that 24 hour onsite nursing was standard. In room instant on video with fall detection also gave me some peace of mind. The nurses were all great to work with and care for the residents. The staff work hard to make the residents comfortable, but also engaged and active. As my fathers needs increased the staff was helpful in providing resources to address the situation. I can definitely recommend this memory care center."

"Scandinavian Living Center was an absolutely lovely facility. Great staff, beautiful, lots of recreational and educational opportunities, and good food. It had beautiful rooms, small, intimate settings. You name it, they have it: music, dance, games, outside speakers coming in, and community organizations that meet in the building so the seniors can participate. You basically have a little apartment with a little bit of a kitchenette, but they had communal meals too."

"The Benchmark Senior Living at Leominster Crossings property was the best of the three facilities that we visited. We were met by two of the facility directors, and both were very personable and hospitable. There was a lot of energy in the property. It just felt like people were enjoying being there, so that gave the best vibe and best impressions overall. They had a common kitchen with everything that you needed for cooking, a refrigerator, and a cooktop oven for baking. The units themselves had a microwave, a cooktop, and a small refrigerator. The staff was very good, professional, and knowledgeable about every aspect of the facility, and about the folks going into senior living environments. The facility was clean and well laid out. The grounds were well manicured. They had a nice kind of walking trail that goes around the property, which was a nice feature because it's on a busy street."

"Orchard Hills appears to be a warm and inviting facility. The residents we saw were active in daily activities that are offered and while we were there lunch appeared to be served in the main dining area. Homemade meals is what was impressed upon us on the visit and from what we saw they appeared to be enjoyed by all. The grounds were also well kept with nice walking trails available for use as well as some lovely sitting areas outside.This location is nearby to a medical facility which helped put us at ease as to where my mother in law would get medical care if needed. While she is able to do many things still on her own and maintain her current home, seeing the units available and knowing that as life progresses for her that help will be available is great peace of mind. The staff we encountered generally seemed to really care about the residents and went out of their way to make the facility a home. The smaller size of the entire facility also is what brought us in to consider this location. As she is from a smaller town and knowing everyone in town, the smaller community feel is a draw. We got the impression that she would not be just a number and more a member of a family. "

"Maplewood at Weston was interesting, but it cost more than what we wished to pay. The rooms seemed OK. Everything looked fine. We did not have much contact with the staff, but they were all OK. "

"This nursing home/assisted care facility excels in care, activities, routines for daily living and patient/caregiver relationship. Outstanding activities include; namaste center with sensory stimulating activities, music, baking, arts, movies shown in a theater-like setting, theme days and family picnic and holiday celebrations. The staff is courteous and caring and have a wonderful rapport with family members. "

"Evergreen Place was very nice facility. You shared a bathroom in the apartments, and that's not desirable for me. The facility was fine, and the rooms are certainly spacious enough. It's not a new facility -- it's been there a while -- but they have done a very good job of keeping it up. They have the basic retirement activity room, and they do cards and take people around downtown Manchester, so it's very nice. "
