"RAH has transformed our family. A year ago, we were so uncertain about how we would support our parents. The team has been patient and supportive. Even listening to me rant when times were tough. Michelle G. has taken such great care of our parents. I consider her a part of our family. And we have never been disappointed. Quality caregivers, companionate staff and professional at every turn. Thank you!"

"I have been with Home Instead for a little over two months now. I am very pleased with all of the care givers that have come to my home . My needs are mostly due to my severe back problems and I have already begun to see some relief . Having help with laundry and other normal chores has helped ease my pain. In particular Olivia C., has been an absolute delight . She is always on time , pleasant ,and willing to even think of ways to help that I had not thought I look forward to the days that she is coming . ."

"Visiting Angels of Princess Anne is very good. It's my best friend that they're caring for. The people that come out always look so nice. They're very courteous and clean. They enable my best friend to get out and about for errands. They even took her to lunch the other day because she was meeting me for lunch, so they were able to bring her. They help with bathing, and she always looks so nice. She has a difficult time getting around, so they assist her in and out of the shower making sure that she's safe. Afterwards, she is always dressed to the nines. She's a very sharp dresser. They always make sure she looks wonderful like she always has. They were highly recommended. It's wonderful that they include her daughter in on the billing. They send a copy to her daughter, which is a very nice service. It's very prompt. I don't think she's ever had any problems with their scheduling. They're very accessible and very reachable. They're safe, comforting, and professional. It enables family members to have quality care with their loved ones."

"I'm using Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach. They're friendly, reliable, punctual and relieves my worry as a daughter. My mom is full care. She needs everything. They do continent care because she has accidents now, but they're very clean and make her feel OK about it. They help with bathing, they drive my mom to the store so she's able to walk around some using a shopping cart, medication reminders and shopping. They actually pick up things as needed. Sometimes I can't get away in time to get the basics and they don't mind at all. They're very punctual. Billing and scheduling are absolutely wonderful. In my case, I had to go out of town for a weekend, and I just let them know a couple of weeks in advance and they were able to get that time covered for mom. I didn't worry. They provide you with cards for everybody. I had called the nurse on several different occasions to help update the list and it was updated that day. She was busy, but she called me back within the hour and was able to update mom's list. The scheduler, Rashema, is just a doll. She is always able to keep me posted. If something is going on, when I ask for another caretaker over the weekend, she kept me posted every couple of days on what the status was. I didn't think I was going to be able to get someone, but she kept on and she kept me posted very well. It's priceless because it is the best investment for our family ever, because we are able to relax and mom has wonderful care."

"I've been using Home Instead for more than eight years now. I like the worker that they have sent to me. She is very thoughtful and well suited for her job. The best thing is she listens to me. She can come in and sit here beside me and listen to all of my woes. She comes Tuesday and Thursday and it's six hours for each time she's here. When I first started having this, my husband was living and he needed help if I was going to leave somewhere. One of the workers came and sat down and talked to me about what was available and what we could use and how much it would cost and decided on what we ended up having. Right now, they just provide me companionship, but they had offered me more services if I needed them such as bathing myself. I'm called an independent resident here, but Home Instead offered me a maid and a helper to cook meals. We have a dining room and I do have my meals there."

"We used Chesapeake Regional Healthcare for hospice care for my dad. We had the in-home setup. They did a full re-evaluation of him and his wounds. They discussed how to provide medicine and gave us supplies. They did a lot. They came back daily, and we had 24-hour nursing care to reach out to. They were good, caring, knowledgeable, and answered any questions. They were on standby at all times."

"My father was in the hospital for five days, and then, the hospital gave us a list of providers. Comfort Care is owned and operated by Chesapeake General, and because I was happy with Chesapeake General, I went with Comfort Care. We have a nurse come out a couple of times a week. We also have a physical therapists two to three times per week. We also have somebody in the daytime a couple of times a week, so we are very happy. They do a great job, and they are very caring. I feel that they are really invested in my father's well-being. They communicate and work very well with us. "
