"My father is using Noah's Dove. It's going great. They come in usually about six hours a day, three days a week. We have two different caregivers, and if we have extra hours then sometimes it's additional, but usually it's the same people. I haven't had any issues. They've been very good and very professional. They help ensure my dad eats on time and the appropriate amounts of food. They take him for a walk. They have helped drive him to my children's events so he can participate. They spend time with him, so he gets company during the day. They make sure he showers every day and is clean, and they've helped with his grooming as well, like shaving him and helping with those kinds of things. They've helped clean the apartment unit that he has. They've helped with things like doing the laundry, changing the bedding, vacuuming, cleaning, that kind of stuff. They also make sure he takes his meds. I have it in a pill box, and they just put it in his hand, and he takes it himself, and they make sure he takes it on time. Billing is working well. It's online, so it's pretty easy."

"We have had four visits from Ally Independence so far. They have what they call a "wake up special," which is what we needed and fits our needs. They come on Saturday and Sunday mornings, which gives me some time off. My mother-in-law is a total invalid. She needs to be cleaned and diaper-changed in the morning, lifted out of bed with a hoyer lift, and taken from the bedroom to the family room where she is placed in a recliner. They then feed her, brush her teeth, make the bed, and put away their dishes. The first person, who came for three weeks, had some other obligation, and we are very satisfied with her replacement. They are excellent. Stacy, one of the owners, was really good meeting with us, and we were impressed with her. We have our own log-in in their website, so we are very impressed with them."

"I am using Seniors Helping Seniors Greater Sacramento for my mom. They're helping her with showering, cooking, cleaning, and typical stuff. Their billing is fine, and they do that weekly. It's nice that they have people in the same age range as my mom, versus sending out a 20 or 30-year-old who runs circles around her and makes her trip and fall. But then, at the same time, now I've got this 75-year-old woman who's really slow. So, I don't know what's better, the 30-year-old, the 20, or the slow 75-year-old. I was very shocked that I got a person who's 75 years old, but we're working with it."

"Before we first started, Journey came to our home to see what would be required and where my mother would be taken care of. We only had one caregiver from Senior Helpers. My mother has dementia and other health issues. The caregiver does her job wonderfully. My mother was very private person. She's even uncomfortable with me helping her to shower but the caregiver we had put her at ease. She kept my mom very comfortable. She was the perfect fit from the start. They normally require a 4-hour visits each time and we couldn't afford that. They tried to find somebody who would be willing to split the 4 hours. The caregiver we had was willing to work 2 hours one day and 2 hours another day. They were very accommodating in that regard. "
