"My mom has moved into The Landing at Carmichael. She's on the independent living side. It's a very comfortable, very nice place, and a very clean place. The people there are very nice too and the management is really good. I have no complaints about it. The staff is very helpful and they're very comfortable to talk to. They're willing to talk to you, you can ask them things and they share information with you. They're very helpful when it comes to food distribution and looking after my mother because she can't have milk. They're very accommodating to her on that. They take care of their people. They have a person that comes in and they do karaoke and other things. I don't know all of them exactly because I don't have the calendar in front of me, but they publish a calendar every month that has activities on it. They have movie nights and a lot of other activities. They have a bus that takes people if they want to go shopping or if they need to go somewhere to doctor's appointments and things. They accommodate the people there with that."

"Oh my gosh, Summerfield of Roseville was wonderful! I love that place. I fell in love with it. It was great. The staff who gave the tour, her name is Jane, and we have connected. She's the one who said, 'Let me work on something for you. I will help you because my mom couldn't afford that. Everything was perfect. It was gorgeous. And the way the place was being run, I wanted my mom to go there so badly, but the price was high. I fell in love with the staff who gave the tour. She was so kind. She understood what I was going through. She was compassionate. She knows the business and knows how to handle the people. Just an amazing woman. With regards to dining, I don't know anything about the food, but the dining area was amazing. Activities were going on when I toured there. They had a performer playing guitar, and the residents who were in their wheelchairs were clapping and taking part in the music and enjoying it. They had activities every day. I would say 6 to 8 hours that calendar was full every day of the week."

"This facility is a day program for people who have developmental and physical disabilities. People come to this facility for 6 to 7 hours a day, 5 days a week to learn basic living skills and how to be productive members of society. When I heard of this program I checked it out online. the webiste seemed interested and the program itself seemed like it had alot to offer someone that wants to transition into a more independent life. I decided to take my disabled brother there for a tour. What I seen was the total opposite of what the website represented. It was obvious the staff had no training or teaching skills and they lacked professionalism. The enviornment was very unsanitary and the clients looked unkept. Many were sleeping and disenguaged, seperate from other groups. I didnt see anything exciting at the facility and to be honest the over all feeling I got when touring was a bunch of unhappy people fill this room everyday. My last complaint is the the way the bathrooms are set up. There are a total of 4 restrooms for 70 clients. About 40 percent of those clients use a changing room and the room isnt even seperate from the activity room, the only privacy a person has is a curtain. I was disgusted. So much for a persons dignity. They rob you of it there. My brother and I left. "

"My mom always says she doesn't know what she'd be doing without Altamedix. This place allows her to stay connected with people of her age and culture. She loves everything from the homemade food to the medical treatments she receives. We are grateful for this opportunity for our elders to have a place that keeps them physically, emotionally, and spiritually healthy. "

"My mother has been attending Rancho Cordova Adult Day Health care center for the last five years. The staff is very caring and the administration is very helpful. So far I have no problems with the care plan.This is the best Adult Day Health Care Center in whole California. "

"This is the most amazing place. My mother-in-law was admitted in 2008 and I have never had an issue with staff or anyone else. They are helpful, knowledgeable and loving. We looked for 5 years for a place I would feel comfortable walking away and knowing she would be safe, taken care of and paid attention to as well. They include the families in events as well, giving you the chance to connect with others caring for their loved ones. When she passed, they were incredible. Some staff came in (on their day off) just to say their "good-byes". I have asked my children to place me/us here if there's ever a need. "
