"I am using Seniors Helping Seniors Greater Sacramento for my mom. They're helping her with showering, cooking, cleaning, and typical stuff. Their billing is fine, and they do that weekly. It's nice that they have people in the same age range as my mom, versus sending out a 20 or 30-year-old who runs circles around her and makes her trip and fall. But then, at the same time, now I've got this 75-year-old woman who's really slow. So, I don't know what's better, the 30-year-old, the 20, or the slow 75-year-old. I was very shocked that I got a person who's 75 years old, but we're working with it."

We interviewed a few care facilites while in the hospital and chose HCP. The director and one of the care givers met us at home and got us set up. We opted for 2 4-hour shifts a day to start with. The care givers were amazing, professional and caring. They not only helped with basic needs but assisted in helping with PT. But right now, they got mom a person who is willing and able to take care of my mother. At the beginning they were sending people that were really young and she could not relate to them that much but now she got somebody that talks to her and so forth and helps her out a lot. She is finally happy because it is somebody that can be there a lot. I've requested additional time from Partners in Care before from their caregivers and a lot of the time they say everybody is scheduled out. They're good but they're not great."

"My father is using Noah's Dove. It's going great. They come in usually about six hours a day, three days a week. We have two different caregivers, and if we have extra hours then sometimes it's additional, but usually it's the same people. I haven't had any issues. They've been very good and very professional. They help ensure my dad eats on time and the appropriate amounts of food. They take him for a walk. They have helped drive him to my children's events so he can participate. They spend time with him, so he gets company during the day. They make sure he showers every day and is clean, and they've helped with his grooming as well, like shaving him and helping with those kinds of things. They've helped clean the apartment unit that he has. They've helped with things like doing the laundry, changing the bedding, vacuuming, cleaning, that kind of stuff. They also make sure he takes his meds. I have it in a pill box, and they just put it in his hand, and he takes it himself, and they make sure he takes it on time. Billing is working well. It's online, so it's pretty easy."
