"Senior Helpers at Lincoln, CA provides us with in-home care, and they send someone to my parents' house. They're really sweet and kind, and they're familiar with Alzheimer's issues and problems. They're good with my parents and they do a variety of things. They help with cleaning the house, they help them with their pills, they'll do light cooking, and they do light housework for them. They can also do activities together, so they do a little bit of everything. They don't provide any kind of nursing type situations, they just do supervision. The caregivers are really good, and the girl who runs it is amazing."

"I am using Seniors Helping Seniors Greater Sacramento for my mom. They're helping her with showering, cooking, cleaning, and typical stuff. Their billing is fine, and they do that weekly. It's nice that they have people in the same age range as my mom, versus sending out a 20 or 30-year-old who runs circles around her and makes her trip and fall. But then, at the same time, now I've got this 75-year-old woman who's really slow. So, I don't know what's better, the 30-year-old, the 20, or the slow 75-year-old. I was very shocked that I got a person who's 75 years old, but we're working with it."

After 3 months of in and out of hospital and rehab facilities, she chose to return home and reached out to Home Care Professionals. We interviewed a few care facilites while in the hospital and chose HCP. The director and one of the care givers met us at home and got us set up. We opted for 2 4-hour shifts a day to start with. The care givers were amazing, professional and caring. They not only helped with basic needs but assisted in helping with PT. This organization, from the director, on-call services, and care givers is exceptional and I easily give 5 stars."

"Sometimes Partners in Care are backed up and I've asked them on occasion to increase the time for the person caring but they seem like they're overextended sometimes. But right now, they got mom a person who is willing and able to take care of my mother. At the beginning they were sending people that were really young and she could not relate to them that much but now she got somebody that talks to her and so forth and helps her out a lot. She is finally happy because it is somebody that can be there a lot. I've requested additional time from Partners in Care before from their caregivers and a lot of the time they say everybody is scheduled out. They're good but they're not great."
