"I visited Oakmont of East Sacramento for my mom. They have really planned out the layout for the seniors, and they were friendly. I enjoyed the tour. They are new, so it is a very upscale community. Their community seemed to have just been built within the last two years. Their rooms are very large. They have companion suites, private rooms, and they are almost like a five-star hotel room. They have an outside courtyard, and they have the patients plant gardens. They have umbrella tables where they could sit and read a book. They have an inside activity room where they could play games, and they also have a movie theater in there. The staff was very understanding, compassionate, friendly, and professional."

"The lady that showed us around Carmichael Oaks was very nice. They had backyards and patios, nice dining room, and overall a clean facility. I liked that my mom could have a two bedroom apartment with a little patio, that way she could have her dog, and also a backyard with a sitting area. They had a lot of activities and everything you would want. We were impressed and would probably have mom there if she was ready. "

"I liked Winding Commons. I liked that it was smaller and quaint. I liked the rooms looking out onto the river. There was a little fountain area. I liked that most of the rooms had an outside area. The patios have a little bit more room where you can put chairs and plants. The staff was very nice and answered all our questions. They have a nice outdoor patio where you can eat."

"The people are very friendly and professional at Northstar of Rancho Cordova. They have an onsite nurse and assistant nurses. The memory care unit is secured. You need a code to get in. They are very good at redirecting my father and helping him focus on other things. I am extremely pleased with it. It was set up like a hotel. He has one room and a bathroom, and he has a TV in it with cable access. The food was not fantastic, but it was good and decent. They have activities throughout the day. "

"Pretty much all of the activities that go on here are on the first floor. They have 100 plus apartments and they are in the second and third floor. This community is relatively newer and brighter. They offer independent and assisted living and it is in good location near medical hospital and doctors. We had a good and positive feeling about it. The staff was friendly and attentive but right now it is just based on a couple of visits we had. We looked at their calendar of activities and it appeared that it is an active community. We also looked at their studios and I would say they were a good size, not huge, but they're appropriate. "

"I believe all the facilities we visited in Sacramento is good, but when we visited Regency Place Assisted Living, we found it to be excellent. It is very nice. It is as nice as it was 25 years ago. My in-laws were there 25 years ago, so it is the first facility we visited. The only thing preventing us to go is that they did not have a 1-bedroom available. They only have a studio type open. The staff is very good, nice, kind, and very informative. They have activities going on like tours. Everything was excellent. "

"I toured Blossom Vale Senior Living. I liked the actual studio apartment. It was very nice. It had fake wood floors, but they were beautiful. It had a great enclosed deck area looking out to trees and a garden. I only met some people, but they were very friendly, nice, and pleasant. It was clean. It has two living areas and a dining room. It's smaller but homey and comfortable. I think it would be really good for someone who needed a smaller atmosphere."

"I toured here. You could have your own garage and a full kitchen. You could have guests spend the night with you. It's a two-bedroom. There were just several things that I preferred in terms of independent living there: I like that they have a farmer's market on the grounds at the weekends, so you have access to fresh food. It's in an area that's close to a lot of markets and things. The staff who gave the tour was very helpful. They answered all our questions. They were very friendly. They introduced you to people as you walked around. They showed you the facilities and the things they had available."

"We absolutely love Camden Springs Gracious Retirement Living. We got my father into a studio. It's still expensive, but a reasonable price. They've been great and I guess the management lives on the premises. They've been very in touch with us. My father just moved in recently and we needed to get his cable hooked up and we were having some problems with that. Even the management called me yesterday to take care of it. So they are very, very involved. My father is happy, he's loving it there because everybody is great, in a great mood, very nice, and very kind, even the workers are nice. It's been really, really good. We're very happy with it. We actually had friends that were there before him so we were really aware of it to begin with. Everybody was very polite and friendly. My father loves the food. He tells me it's delicious. He'll call me and let me know what he's eating that day. The facility is nice and in good shape. They have quite a busy schedule, but everything's different right now cause it's COVID, so they're not doing a lot of stuff. From what it looks and appears like, it seems like there's quite a bit they can do when everything is gonna be back to normal. All these kind of places were expensive, but I think this one is rated special for what we got. We were able to get him into a studio with a kitchenette for $2,600 dollars. It might be the smallest studio, but he's real happy with it. He thinks it's great. The size is fine too, so we're real happy. "

"For me, WellQuest of Elk Grove was perfect. I wanted a cottage and they do have cottages there. The cottages just opened a year ago, so they're new and I like that. They were friendly and they had a library, a fitness center, a beauty salon, activities room where you could play cards, a dining room, and a movie room. The first two levels of the main building are mainly different rooms for different activities. The food is excellent, too. They gave us a test to try the food and it was very good."
