My father moved into The Terraces of Roseville. It has the best and largest dog park. When I would go at different hours, I would always hear laughter in the dining room. I found it to be very homey, and you can adapt your room to your taste. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. They have bingo, and it's led by the residents. They have a lot of fun with it.

We toured The Terraces of Roseville. I liked the positive vibe and the atmosphere when we walked in. It was clean. The staff was very friendly.

I went to The Terraces of Roseville. I wasn't all that impressed with it. The bathrooms in the rooms were kind of skimpy and small. It's just a sink. There wasn't even a cabinet or countertop. It's just a sink. The staff was very nice, very personable, and very knowledgeable. I have no complaints about them or the person who gave me the tour. She was very nice. They provide three meals a day. From the outside, the facility was very nice. I was just a little disappointed with the room layout itself.

I toured The Terraces of Roseville. I liked their room plans and their costs. There was kind of a storage area in one of the floorplans that I liked a lot. I talked to two of the residents before I went into the building. One of them said it was excellent, that's why I stopped and talked to them. Just listening to her conversation, she'd been there a year, and that was a good influence. The staff was very friendly, and a lot of the residents knew each one by name, so that shows a close and friendly relationship. The first time I went there, I was there for lunch, and it was a very good lunch. All of the people that were there seemed very happy and content. My salad was good.

The people at The Terraces of Roseville are friendly and it seems like a very, very nice place. The bedrooms just aren't huge. I'm going to have two small bedrooms there, but a bed fits, a dresser, and you can walk around the bed comfortably to make it. So, it's an acceptable apartment. It's nice and clean. They're doing a lot of accommodations like ceiling fans. What's a bonus is they have a storage room that you can rent for $30 on-premises, which is reasonable, and they're allowing me to put in pull-out shelves because I can't bend over. They have a laundry facility and very nice storage. I think I'm going to be very, very happy there. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. They knew me by name when I came there. The girls were having an activity and they addressed me right away by my name and seemed to be tuned in to who I was and that I was coming. I thought that was very commendable. They have delicious food. I had two meals there and I was very pleased. They have something, too, that I haven't seen offered anywhere else. One morning they had egg benedict, another morning they had biscuits and gravy, and then they have the regular menu. The cafeteria is open all day for the daily menu where you can go down and you get to eat all the time and then they have their special foods.

My mother will be staying at the Terraces of Roseville for respite care. As soon as I walked in, it just felt good. The people at the front desk were always very helpful and sweet. Chris, the marketing person, was very sweet and helpful. They had church services there, Christian Bible study, and Christian gospel singing. Every time we went there the residents were very active. I loved the dog play area; I thought that was a really cool place. The dining area looked pretty. The only knock down is they didn't have a room that was decorated at the time of our visit.

I was very impressed with The Terraces of Roseville. The staff gave me information on how to finance my dad's housing when he gets to assisted living. It was nice. It was probably the place I would have chosen for my dad. That's just because they also include assisted living and the price was more affordable than the other place. I didn't have a lot of interaction with the staff, but those that I did interact with were very nice. The rooms were nice. However, the studio apartments felt more like hotel rooms than actual apartments. I didn't like the idea that instead of having a regular-sized refrigerator, they had just a mini fridge and it was on the floor. With an elderly person trying to bend down and use that refrigerator, it would be pretty difficult. I liked the other rooms. It was just their studio apartment was a little bit too small and not as user-friendly as an apartment. The atmosphere seemed very friendly. It was nice that they have a dog park area in the middle of their community. The nice thing, too, was that all of their garden areas were enclosed. You had to be a resident there or know a resident to get into the common areas. It was nice that the dogs don't have to be on a leash in this dog park area that they have. The lady who was talking to me called me a couple of times afterward. She was very informative. Whenever I had questions, she would answer them. I told her that we were going to go see another place. She called me afterward to ask how it had gone. I thought that was very nice. She reached out. That impressed me. If my dad had not chosen the other place, I probably would have chosen The Terraces for him just because of her. Some residents took the time to talk to me about the place and how wonderful it was. It was perfectly clean and everything, but it just felt like there were areas that probably needed a facelift or a little remodel, just to make it look fresh again. It seemed like a very nice community. I was impressed that it was in a nice area. It wasn't right on the street, so it was quiet when you went in there. It was the very first place I went to go see, so I was kind of in awe of everything.

The Terraces of Roseville was really nice. It felt really welcoming. It gave us a homey vibe. The staff was willing to give us more information about everything and go into details. The accommodations were very spacious. I saw a studio and an apartment. They would provide three meals a day. They have trips to the doctor. They get out once a month or something like that, so they don't have to just stay in the building. They can have visitors at any time.

I had an in-person tour of The Terraces of Roseville. I love that they had areas for animals. They had a certain area for people who had cats and a certain area for people who had dogs. They had different sections. They had independent living and assisted living. They had a really nice dining room. They had a lot of activities, which I thought were really great. The rooms were really nice. They had a small kitchen area with a little refrigerator. The bathrooms were really nice. The walker availability made it really easy to get in and out of the bathrooms. The staff was super nice, very informative, and pleasant to talk to. They had several patios, which were really nice.

I've toured The Terraces of Roseville, it was nice. It was well laid out with good safety features, and the staff seems friendly. The apartments were put together so that a senior person would have an easy time getting around the apartment and utilizing the services they had. So I liked the way it's well laid out. There were wide doorways for the walker and a step-in shower, that kind of stuff, so it was safe. It was a good place. I was looking for some kind of interactive things that they do with the group, but as I recall, Terrace didn't do a lot. They have a gym but they don't offer classes, and they have a list of activities but not as many as the other places. They also have a library and a puzzle room and things, but what I was looking for, besides having a safe place to live, is that they can also get my mother out of her house. The staff that I met with was very knowledgeable and pleasant. She knew about the facility for sure, she was able to answer all of my questions, and she gave a good tour. The building itself was very nice. The one thing that I didn't like there was that it was hard to find a place to park as a visitor.

The food at The Terraces of Roseville was very good during my tour. I enjoyed that very much. What I don't like so much about it is that there are almost 200 residents, and there were long halls, which I might get lost in. I thought the apartments had some wasted space. There was more of a hallway and more room dedicated to the kitchen. But they provide three meals a day, so I won't be using the kitchen area. I love the terraces in every room, and they're also sheltered from the sun so that's very good. I only met one staff member, but she was very good. Since the renovation, the facility itself was very beautiful. I saw their lounge, they had an exercise room and they had some equipment there.

The Terraces of Roseville would be a very nice place to go. The lady showed me a room right off the dining hall and it would have been nice to get to. We went there twice and we were toured by both the manager and her assistant separately. I was with my son and they put me in a wheelchair, which made it very nice. They had a nice big backyard where they had barbecues. Then they had pretty good sized boxes of dirt set up for people to go out and grow things on their own. There were several people who enjoyed getting their hands dirty. They could either grow their own flowers or some of them even grew little vegetables. It was there to make them feel like they were more at home. I thought that it was nice that they'd go to that extent. They let them do things on their own. They had buses all lined up outside where they could take people, like the museum in town and an upcoming art show downtown. The staff was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. The facility was very nice and very clean. When you opened the front door, it was inviting, bright, and cheerful.

The thing about The Terraces of Roseville that we noticed is that there are a lot of people and they're all walking around, all the people that live there. We talked to quite a few of them, they were just so very happy, and they weren't just staying in their room. We like the fact that this place was more social. My father puts it this way, it was like walking into a resort or a hotel, and he liked that. He liked the size of the room. The room has one of the nicest refrigerators. It wasn't a full-sized refrigerator, but it had a nice little freezer in it. He liked the refrigerator, he liked the kitchenette, and he liked the granite counter. It's a little bit more modern, and it has ceiling fans in there. They have a dog park, and they have three different gardens, which all the rooms go around. They have a nice deck off the dining area, and you could go out there and eat and visit. They have a walking path around the whole thing. They have three courtyards, and there's one that overlooks this area where you can have your dogs. It looks like they have either a veggie garden or where you can plant plants. All the gardens or courtyards are very nice. The facility is beautiful. We were able to try the food. One of the reasons we picked that place is that the chef is very good. We talked to a lot of people that live there, and they love the food. Their salesperson is excellent. Her name is Kerry. Anybody who wants to go there, should talk to her. She's wonderful, very caring, and compassionate. They seem like they have a very good rapport with the residents there. They know them all; they know all the names. It just looked like everybody was happy. Their reception area is very nice, and the receptionist is very friendly. They have a great library, a puzzle room, and a pool table area, too.

The facilities at The Terraces of Roseville were a little dated. The parking lot itself was old and the surface was uneven. It was also crowded and small. I had to walk a long distance from my parking spot to get to the front of the facility. They did not have enough ramps to gain access to the building either. They had a variety of rooms, but they were smaller. They did not have a swimming pool, and that was something I wanted. It was less than ideal, but the staff was OK.

My mom moved into The Terraces of Roseville. It had a lot of good energy. It was clean and spacious, and the people and staff there were very friendly. The apartment was larger than a lot of the other locations. There were a lot of activities going on every single day. They have community activities, walks, art, get togethers, and church groups. There were a lot of options available on a daily basis. The food seemed good. It was hot and seemed pretty standard. It didn't seem bad at all.

We visited The Terraces of Roseville. I thought they were great and from what I saw, that was the one place that I noticed had activities going on. Somebody was singing there and people were listening to the piano music down in that area. My only complaint was that they don't have an open kitchen throughout the day. There was a set hour for the meals so that was a deterrent for my father. He didn't care for that. The other thing I noticed, too, is that they were showing us different apartments but all of them seemed to be in different shapes and conditions and I thought that was weird. I was like, "Why does this have really nice cabinets, and this one looks like Humpty Dumpty did it." I didn't quite understand why each one of them was different. Other than that, the girl who gave us the tour was very nice, and my dad liked her too. The unit that we looked at was an independent living unit. They also have assisted living there but not to the point where you could get a Hoyer lift in and my mom needs it. We didn't do the whole tour because my dad was tired but the staff was great at working with my dad. They're very courteous and eager to assist. The things that, I would say, needed improving were the rooms being different and the times for the dining. It should be open like a 24/7 type of thing or at least from 7 a.m. 'till 9 at night or something like that, something where people can come and go as they please.

The staff members at The Terraces of Roseville were extremely friendly and accommodating. They engaged with the residents and knew them by name. The residents seemed happy to see them and chat with them. The grounds were beautiful, the rooms were nice, and the layout of the facility seemed to be convenient for everybody. They have a barber that would come in, then they also have a veterans program, interns from the local high school/colleges that come in and do volunteer work with the residents, church services, outings that they take the residents to, a mini-theater, a library, computer rooms, and a lot more.

The Terraces of Roseville was a very nice place and the price range was less than what she is paying now, so that was good. Most of them had balconies, so you could go outside on your balcony, too. They have three floors. Their third floor is independent living. Then the second and first floors are assisted living. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They had a very good menu. They serve it on plates, real dishes, which my mom isn't having right now. All their meals are on China dishes. I saw the table setting. They had them set up and they had the cloth napkins on the tables and stuff and it looked very nice. They had a couple of different areas outside. One of them was called the dog park. It sounded like they had a lot of activities every day. I told them she does not like to play cards, so they said they had others, but I didn't get into detail about that.

I went to The Terraces of Roseville. It's a very fine facility, its very clean, and it's organized. The tour guide, Keri, was very, very, friendly and accommodating. It was a super-good experience. The dining area was fantastic, it was filled with newer furniture, and it was very clean and well organized. The residents looked happy too. The rooms were adequate, clean, and probably the best I've seen so far. They have all kinds of games. There's an exercise room, a shuffleboard table, I believe, and all kinds of activities -- too many to list. They have cards, bridge, and a media room where they can watch movies and all that kind of stuff.

My aunt has been at The Terraces of Roseville. It is perfect and I love it. They took care of us and they helped us move her in, which was awesome. They definitely did everything that we needed for her, and she loves it. They have studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, but she only wanted the studio, and she is happy with it because that's all she needs. They have movie nights, exercises, excursions, and trips to the grocery store. They have parties for every holiday, and they are always decorated for something. They also have beer tastings, wine tastings, and dancing, so they do it all. I interacted with the Marketing Director and I highly recommend her. She is just a great, wholesome, an easy-to-get-along-with person. There's housekeeping, too.

My mother is at The Terraces of Roseville. It's decent enough, though she needs a little more care than what they can offer. I haven't been able to get into the place other than the lobby, that's as far as I can get into because of the COVID. The person who answers the phone is polite and friendly. The building is a fairly large 3-story place. They have activities for the residents, but currently they're on lockdown.

I moved into the Terraces of Roseville. I've only been here for a while, but it's been good so far. The staff has been excellent, they're very good about cleaning the apartment; I have a wonderful cleaning lady. It's just a two-bedroom, but for the price, it's very good, and it's all I need. It's an old building, but it's in very good shape, everything is functional, and it's great. The meals are adequate. Since I've been here, I've been extremely happy.

I loved the Terraces of Roseville. They were extremely friendly; the staff was happy and seemed happy to be working there. The place was very clean. The food was superior and delicious. I loved their rooms. I liked the way they were arranged; every little spot had a purpose. Even though they were small, they were comfortable, and livable. It was impressive that if I moved into independent living I wouldn't have to leave the facility to go to assisted living. Each floor was a different level of care. The residents were very friendly, very social, and were talking to each other a lot. They have a lot of activities. They have weekly outings, they go on little trips, and they take them to the store and the bank. If I could afford it, I would move there. It's close to shopping, restaurants, and doctors offices.

Some of the apartments that The Terraces of Roseville showed us weren't ready yet. In hindsight, they probably weren't ready to show. They offered the same activities as other senior communities. As a visitor, my impression of the staff was pretty good. Their dining area looked good, and I liked that you can dine anytime you want, which I thought was a bonus. This means that the residents don't have to go to their meals at an exact time. The amenities looked fine, and it was a pretty attractive place with modern decor. They also have gardens and outdoor spaces.

The Terraces of Roseville is very nice and my father is very happy there. Its very nice, theyve individual little apartments, and the staff is helpful and friendly. Hes really very happy with the staff that works there. He doesnt utilize a lot of the services, but anything we want, they can provide it at an additional charge. They have wine and stuff, and little concerts where bands come in and play music for them. They have church services, and additional conveniences, like theres a podiatrist coming in this Friday. They have a barber shop, they have a few clubs, and they have an association for veterans. He has a little apartment with a kitchenette, refrigerator, sink, and microwave in the bar, but no stove. They have a small living room, a bedroom, bathroom, and a little patio that overlooks a courtyard. They take them places if they need to go to the bank or the store. It pretty much offers everything that they need, and hes able to move around and utilize them. The portions of the food are not huge, but it's interesting that you have to order each thing that you want for the food. They give you what you want, and they will deliver it to your room when youre sick. I think that's nice.

I visited The Terraces of Roseville. Sunrise Avenue is the main drag through that part of Roseville, so there are restaurants, shopping not far away, electronic stores, and it's right off the freeway. They had nice rooms, which included a stove and oven. The facility was a little older, and they were upgrading to granite countertops. They did not have anything with balconies and that was another thing that I was looking for. I was also looking for outside access and they did not have that. I didn't like the two ladies who gave me the tour. It's a nice place, but it was older, and they were doing some upgrades to it.

I'm staying at The Terraces of Roseville. We have three meals a day whether you're in independent or assisted living. It's open seating and you can have breakfast anytime. Lunch is served starting at 11:30 and you can have it anytime the whole afternoon. It's a very good setup and I love their food. I like that the building is very well it with wide corridors. The activities are just right, but they could have more. They have happy hour twice a week on Fridays and Saturdays. Somebody comes to sing for entertainment. The staff is very helpful and the servers are so nice.

My mom needed shots, but The Terraces of Roseville wasn't able to do that. They were in the process of remodeling a lot of the rooms. The issue was parking, and then the access in and out of the facility was a problem because Sunrise is such a very busy roadway. It's very difficult to get in and out of there. I had to go all of the way around the building to get to where I parked. I didn't like the staff member. She didn't seem very knowledgeable. I was only in there for 45 minutes and it was one of the quickest visits I had. She started right away with the tour. She didn't ask me any questions to begin with. I thought we would sit down first and discuss some stuff, and we ended up discussing things on the way. I don't think she had a very good presentation. The dining area was great and the facility was OK, but I wasn't very impressed. We looked at two different rooms and they both seemed OK.

I really liked The Terraces of Roseville, but it was just too far away for us. It had big beautiful rooms, and they were being remodeled. It was a very nice large place, but the smaller places were better for my mom. They had lots of activities. The staff was great, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. The person that toured us around was wonderful. We looked at the menu, and it looked great, but we didn’t try the food.

The Terraces of Roseville was a good and nice facility, but it didn’t fit her needs. We’re looking for limited places from Medi-Cal. The rooms were a good size -- probably 20x20 -- and the staff was nice. It was one lady that met with me, and she walked me through the place. The dining area was nice.

I have been to The Terraces of Roseville. I was never invited to eat there, and that was one of my complaints about the place because I like to sample the food from where I'm going to live if it is going to be inclusive. The rooms were on the smaller side, and the parking was a problem. I had an appointment to go there and see the place, but I couldn't find a parking spot anywhere. They had arts and crafts, a computer that people can use, and exercise machines.

The Terraces of Roseville was old, but my major concern was that the room they showed us had an odor, and when I opened the cupboards, there were still ramen-type noodles in the cabinet. I thought they should have cleaned it first before showing it to us; though it looked like it had been cleaned, but just not well enough. If they'd shown us a room trying to impress us with that, I'm concerned about the level of care and housekeeping that my mom would get if she lived there. The menu was good, and mom would be happy with the food. We saw a lot of people, and they looked engaged and smiling, which was a really positive sign for us.

At The Terraces of Roseville, I liked their dining room hours. The facility was more modern, and the room was nicer than the other facility I saw. It was not as spacious but it and the staff were very nice. The lady who showed me around was nice. They had two people at the front desk to help people. They had two lounge areas, which was nice.

Mom is at The Terraces of Roseville. We really like the community. It's not that upscale, but it's very clean. She has her own, nice apartment. Their dining area is very spacious with a big fireplace. We ate with Mom a couple of times, and their food was not great, but Mom enjoys most of the meals there, so that's what counts.

You could stay in the same unit apartment starting out as independent living at The Terraces of Roseville, and if you need assisted living you can just choose to have their services. They have a restaurant, and their food is good. Just looking around the facility, it's clean and well-kept inside and out.

Care is excellent, and the staff is very attentive at The Terraces of Roseville. They have rides every Wednesday, they take the residents to Wal-Mart or Target for shopping on Mondays, and they take them to doctor’s appointments within a certain radius. On Sundays they take my mother to church, they have rides afterwards, and they have bingo. It’s an older building, but it’s very nice and very active. I have called the front desk and put in a request to have the stairways cleaned, but I haven’t heard anything yet. Parking needs to be improved; it’s very restricted for people like myself that go to visit or get my mother. I think it would be nice if they had a walking area; a lot of the residents walk around the building, but they need to be probably repaved because the road is worn and my mother has limited vision, and a lot of people like to get a walk around the building.

My parents stayed at The Terraces of Roseville because it was accessible to other members of the family. They stayed there until my mother passed away. They had a one bedroom apartment. The staff were better than in the other facility. There were also several activities for the residents. I would recommend this facility to other people.

I visit this utility at least 3 times a week to spend time with my 90 year old mom. The staff are exceptionally caring. The facility is clean and upkeep is remarkable. The food is prepared by a professional chef and the mealtime options are presented to residents in a cafe style menu form. This is the 3rd facility in which my mom has lived and this by far is heads above any we've experienced. I was an ombudsman for many years in the San Francisco Bay area and am returning to this very valuable process in February for Placer County here in Sacramento, CA.

When my grandfather first arrived at the facility, I wasn't sure what to think. The place he had stayed previously had been newer and I was concerned about the staff. However, once we met a few people, I knew it would be a great place. When you walk in the door, the lobby is very clean, and open. It gives a feeling of homeyness. The receptionist we spoke to was shy and quiet, but other wise nice. The rooms were all spacious and well taken care of. The whole place smelled nice, and there was a distinct feeling of comfort in the way they situated the furniture. My grandfather became good friends with the staff there, and everyone was willing and excited to get to know him which was very important. I felt as if the place was extremely well maintained and structurally beautiful. The experiences I had there were primarily wonderful, and I know my grandfather appreciated the experience.
