"My wife has moved into Oakmont of Lodi. To start with, it was terrible, but it's getting better. They gave her the wrong meds and it screwed her up. It's been pretty good since then. Interaction with the staff so far has been pretty good. Her room is pretty nice. It's two rooms. She is in A and the other lady is in B. It's all one big room, but it's separated by closets and a bathroom. She's in memory care. The activities are pretty good. They have music and exercises and she started participating in that. The meals looked pretty good. It's a little expensive, but they all are."

"My father has moved into Brookdale Lodi. We chose it because it's close to my home. I can't think of anything that I don't like yet. The staff all seem to be very nice. He's pretty much bedridden for now and he was sick, so he hasn't been doing anything. The facility is very well-kept and very clean. They have a gym and a salon, and you can go outside. It's extremely expensive though."

"I was given a tour by Cyndi, as we walked through out the facility, she greeted the residents by name and spoke briefly to each of them, demonstrating a genuine care. I was shown the various rooms, and never felt pressured to commit to having my mom reside there at Cogir. Cyndi listened to my concerns for my mom and was able to speak to her individual needs and how Cogir would meet them. As we toured the facility, Cyndi verbalized a high expectation to the staff and the service they were providing. She did this in a positive and encouraging manner which made me feel that there was a team effort by the staff to provide the best services for the residents. Though my mom was not ready to be in an assisted living enviroment, I would not hesitate having her reside at Cogir based on my experience with Cyndi and the staff I had contact with.,"

"My father-in-law moved into here. My husband has been able to see him because he is moving in and taking things over there a little bit at a time. He is doing fine; he likes it. My husband said everybody is really nice there, but I have not been there yet because we are not allowed to visit him since he is in quarantine. They have activities, but I am not sure if they are doing any right now. I know he is in quarantine until the end of this week. My husband is very happy with them. They are doing my father-in-law's laundry, there is dining, and I know they are supposed to have activities for him, but I don't know exactly how that is going right now."

"Vintage is very clean and it is affordable. The staff is fine and they were able to address our questions. Mother enjoys the game show TV channel and she has a little garden because she has a patio. "

It's like you're still living in the area with all the facilities you are used to, so it's very convenient. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and very thorough in the description of the facility. "Mom is at Valley Royale Care and it's been an excellent experience. We like that it's smaller, more personalized, private, and quiet, and they're very caring. It's well-kept, clean, organized, and safely built for the residents. It makes it feel very comfortable for them. The food is prepared for them. It's healthy and they're customizing it to their diet. They're also able to do what they like to do, whether they go for a stroll or a walk outside. They can do anything that the resident likes."

"My mom is in Oakdale at Astoria. So far, so good. My mom was pretty bad when she got there, but she seems to be coming around now. Astoria has a family atmosphere. It is bright and clean, and there are lots of windows. They have plenty of things for the residents to do. They have games, gardening, and field trips. Once a week they go for picnics in the park or to a casino for a buffet. Everything seems to be good; however, they need to improve on getting the laundry back to the right person."

"We chose TreVista Senior Living for Mom because it's updated, the people were nice, it's close to where I am, there were lots of amenities, and they had spacious rooms. The staff was very nice. They had all the amenities. It was very clean."

"I went with a friend to check out the Plymouth Square Retirement Community to help him find a place for he and his wife. He still enjoys working part time and is unable to care for her on his own. At this facility, they seem to be able to accommodate most senior circumstances with a variety of living options available. We thought his mother would like the little park area outside, which was close to the main door. There was space enough to have parties, picnics, barbeques and other gatherings with friends and family. The receiving area was fresh and bright with a nice colors and furniture. The interior communal rooms were all designed with beautiful views in a calming, current décor and lots of light and fresh air. The social rooms offered easy ways for seniors to visit with each other, make crafts, play games, watch TV and films and participate in many other stimulating activities. Many outings include local sight seeing, nature walks and visits to all of the great activities that Stockton and its surrounding area has to offer. It looked as though the staff could easily manage all of the residents, which is important to us. Seniors can use exercise facilities at any time and also go on daily walks, with assistance as needed. Aerobics and yoga classes are offered and residents are encouraged to exercise daily. The menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, and whenever requested. The dining rooms were nice and the food we saw looked and smelled delicious. Seniors may also opt to prepare food themselves in their apartments if desired. The well-designed units had balconies with nice views and lovely grounds surrounding them. Bathrooms and all areas were designed with safety in mind. All of the seniors living in this community seemed very content, in a living environment specifically tailored to their needs. This living environment would work for my friend and his wife, since it is designed as a retirement community with just the amount of support they would need. Definitely one of the favorite assisted living facilities that we've visited thus far in the area. "

"A few years ago, my parents made a difficult decision to put my grandma into the Emeritus at Fulta Villa assisted care because of her dementia. At the time, I was very sad because it meant I would not be able to see my grandma every day and try to help her remember. Ever sense my grandma has been there however, I have gotten the great privilege of seeing extraordinary professionals doing what they do best. My grandma loves it here and every time I come to visit her, she says she's doing better and she enjoys her time there. The staff are all friendly and are always there when she needs them. When it comes to amenities, the facility is top notch not only for the residents there but for the visitors as well. When ever I come to visit, the staff are always friendly and make sure to keep me up to date with my grandma. They even allowed me to sit in on some of the programs they do with the residents. It's always great to see a smile on my grandma's face and I'm sure one of the main reasons is being at such a great care facility. "

"Villa Marche seemed sterile and bland. I didn't feel like it would be a place that I would want to stay. It wasn't bad though. They have a music room and a television room, but other than that I'm not sure what other activities they provided. However, it seemed OK."
