"We toured The Commons at Union Ranch. They were very clean and welcoming and had an open space for gathering. There was a courtyard in the memory care area where the patients could go and they could do gardening if they wanted to. It was just kind of an open space, but it was still very secure. Everybody was knowledgeable even the janitors who work in memory care are trained to help redirect patients if they need assistance."

"Oakmont of Lodi was a nice place. It's in a town where we already have family. Secondly, it's a fairly new facility. It's maybe two or three years old, and newer is always nicer. The staff members were very good. They were professional and they did a good job. They had both studio and one-bedroom apartments, but we were interested in the one-bedroom. For amenities, they had a pool, very nice outdoor facilities, and a barbecue pit. They had very nice outside accommodation, and we liked going outside."

"I think we're going to go with Brookdale Lodi, the one we saw. It gave us the level of care that we needed for my mother. The staff members were very helpful and very friendly. It's a very nice place. They had a courtyard and a salon. They have exercise classes and things. In terms of location, it is near a hospital, and there are lots of restaurants around there."

"We toured Cogir of Manteca Senior Living. Everyone was very nice. The food was very good. The chef is very nice. It's not plain food. It's five-star food. The facilities are immaculate. I couldn't find anything wrong with it. The rooms are good size. The price is good. Their agenda for the seniors is good to keep them busy, which is what I like. They try to get the seniors out once a week, they said, on a little bus trip, so can't beat that. It was a very nice dinner. We had a lot of different choices, not just a menu of what they had. They also had food available if you didn't care for some of the stuff on the dinner menu. You could have other things, so I chose that, and my sister did the same thing. The staff was informative and took their time. They didn't rush us through. I didn't feel they had a tour of 20 minutes or 30 minutes. We just walked around, they asked questions, and I asked questions. They showed me the rooms that they have and their situations."

"I had the opportunity to visit this facility today. Prior to this I visited numerous facilities. I was impressed with how clean the outside of the facility was. I walked in and saw such a welcoming atmosphere. Residents were having lunch as if they were at a 5-star resort restaurant! I was greeted with a warm smile by the receptionist. Every staff member that walked by me said hello while I was awaiting my tour. I met with director Elizabeth E. She was amazing! She took the time to listen to my needs and the needs of my father. I left with valuable information to make an informed decision about my father's care. I highly recommend this facility to care for our loved ones. Their level of service has surpassed my expectations!"

"Brookdale Tracy looked like a very nice community, very clean, and had nice rooms. I was impressed. I liked the layout of the building. They had a very nice courtyard. It was spacious and well-planned out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They provide meals."

"Dale Commons is a nice facility, but they don't accept MasterCare. My mom couldn't pay rent there because it's like $7,000 a month. With MasterCare they accept her Social Security 90% and then pick up the rest. It's very, very nice. I would love to be able to use their facility, but they can't afford it. It's a five because of the way they take care of their people. They follow them around from room to room to make sure that they don't get lost or they don't fall. I like the way they set their people down in the restaurant and then they wait on them like they're in a restaurant and they take their order. Everyone that I met there was very nice. The common areas were beautiful and the rooms were really nice."

"Vintage Faire is very good. I’m very pleased, they take good care of my mom. The place is nice, clean, and well taken care of. The staff is very good there. My mom said the food is good, and she doesn’t miss a meal. They have all kinds of activities, but my mom doesn’t go. They do provide a lot activities though. I thought what they offered for the price was very good. "

"We are still in the process of looking for a senior living place, and Westmont of Brentwood is a very high contender. I feel like it's very good based on our observation. It seemed like there was a lot of engagement amongst the clients there. When we were touring there was an exercise group or a music group or something. It seemed like the staff was very friendly, which is important to us too. The staff member who gave the tour was very helpful. She gave us a very thorough tour. We could tell that she values making the services accessible to us. Even though there are a lot of loopholes and stuff that we still have to jump through, she was able to initiate that process. She was very empathetic and helpful in that way. The place is clean and easy to get around, and there's always somebody there to help you out."

"Mom is at Valley Royale Care and it's been an excellent experience. We like that it's smaller, more personalized, private, and quiet, and they're very caring. It's well-kept, clean, organized, and safely built for the residents. It makes it feel very comfortable for them. The food is prepared for them. It's healthy and they're customizing it to their diet. They're also able to do what they like to do, whether they go for a stroll or a walk outside. They can do anything that the resident likes."

"We had an awesome tour of Stratford at Beyer Park. I can't come up with anything I don't like. I just wish there was a little more outside room. They have a nice patio and a little walking trail, which is what we're looking for. They have garden boxes, too, which is what my mom is into. The dining area was set up like a restaurant. The staff was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful, too."

"My mother is in The Commons at Dallas Ranch's memory care. They are very helpful with getting all our paperwork together and getting everything set up for her. They have a staff that is very pleasant to work with and treats their clientele very nicely. I'm satisfied with it as my mom has been receiving very good service. The staff have been brilliant. She seems to be enjoying the food there, too, so it's probably good. The facility itself also seems very nice and very clean."
